Post 15 mins
Sameer calls the receptionist and asks her to send Preeti in.

A few minutes later.
There is a knock on the door.
S: Come in!
A nurse steps in followed by Preeti and Rama. Both Preeti and Sameer are shocked but due to different reasons. He, because he had bumped into his sister and couldn't recognise her and she because she dint know that he would be treating her, as her doctor was Dr.Murthy. The nurse keeps a file on the desk and leaves.

P: Oh hello sir! Aap?
( You?)
S: Firstly, Dr. Murthy had to suddenly leave for his hometown. He will be back in some time. So I will be handling your case, till he comes back. Secondly, you are elder to me and hence you can call by my name.
P: Oh okay!
S: Can you please ask her ( pointing towards Rama) to wait outside? I have to talk something important related to your case.
Preeti hesitates a bit but then asks Rama to wait outside. Rama just nods and leaves.
After she's left, Preeti turns towards Sameer and asks
P: Yes doctor?
S: Phoolon ka taaron ka
Sabka kehna hain
Ek hazaaron mein
Meri didi hain
Saari umar hume sang rehna hain....

Preeti looks on in complete shock.

Kabhi bichadenge hum nahi
Chahe jitni bhi door le jayein zindagi
Main tera laadla, tu meri didi
Main tera Atharv, tu meri Preeti!

Both Sameer and Preeti's eyes well up with tears. They keep looking at each other.

P: A..athu.... ( She stands up)
S: Di...( He too stands up)

Preeti rushes towards Sameer and hugs him tightly. He too hugs her tightly. Both let the tears flow...those tears which held the pain of being away for so many years, not even knowing whether the other person was even alive!

Preeti breaks the hug and holds his face in both her hands.
P: Athu...tu theek hain...mera laadla..kitna bada hogaya hain..
( Athu...are you fine...my laadla...how big you have become)
S: Di...main theek hoon...yeh sab aapke saath..
( Sis, I'm fine...what is all this that happened with you...)

Preeti narrates the entire happenings from the day she was sold to the brothel, to how she was rescued to how she attempted suicide to how she was saved.

S: Yeh aapne kya karne ki koshish ki Di?
( What is this that you tried to do?)
Agar aapko kuch hojata toh?
( If something would have happened to you then?)

P: Mujhe kuch na ho isliye toh Bhagwan ne Naina ko bheja!
( Nothing should happen to me, that's why God sent Naina)

S: Naina?? Naina Aggarwal?
P: Yes! You..know her?
S: Yes
And Sameer narrates all his meetings with Naina, excluding the part of his feelings towards her.

P: Toh tu ab mere saath chal raha hain ghar! Kitni saari baatein karni hain aur kitne sawal poochne hain tujhse.
( Now you are coming with me, home. So many things to be told and so many questions to be answered)

S: Aap mere ghar chaliye na!
( You come to my house na)
P: No Sameer! Naina will get worried if she doesn't find me home and she is really busy right now, so I cannot even contact her.

S: Accha I will come okay but only on one condition
P: And what's that?
S: You will feed me aapke haath ke Aloo parathein!
( Aapke haath ke- made by your hands)

Preeti giggles and pulls his ear
S: Ahh..Di..
P: Tu kabhi nahi sudhrega!
( You will never improve)
Okay done.

Sameer jumps up like a small child, while Preeti giggles.

Preeti leaves with a smile on her face while Sameer too has the same smile

It does feel good to meet your family after long....Preeti was his only family. His Rohan Bhaiya was long dead while his parents were anyways dead for him and anyways they died physically too..

And soon Naina will be family too..
His heart whispered.

Okay ,I know I told I will give a long update but yaar, this chapter is only for Sameer and Preeti and sibling bond.  I wanted to keep it that way, else any other addition will spoil the feel!
