𝐁𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞
As a goose's downy feathers,
As the breeze's ceaseless caress,
Like the brook's rhythmic trickling,
Like the lush green grass
As is the wispy clouds' furling and unfurling,
As is the gradual, yet certain, change of seasons,
Similar to nature's balance—
A perfect equilibrium guided by many reasons
To yourself, to the body you care for,
To your fatigued mind which may ache
If you are not gentle enough
To yourself. There's a chance you may break
I implore you,
I implore myself;
To be gentle to one's self is undeniably hard,
But I pray you find a way for yourself
