Lia's POV

I was in love with him. But I couldn't fall. I was to far in to go back. I didn't know when I would see him again so I did what I had to do. I heard he came into town so before I left. I followed him. I walked up and kissed him.

And when he closed his eyes. I left. "I promise" was all I heard before running to the woods with my fireflies.

"Stop 2. Check" I whispered before setting them all down and opening them and running watching them light up the rainy sky.
