2 years later.

After Jacob broke his leg and 3 of his ribs. We gave up.

I moved to New York with my cousin cause my mom moved in with my stepdad... Ew. Life was pretty good.

Lia's POV

Today. My 18th birthday. I opened up my last jar of fireflies in Hawaii.

I got on a plain and landed in my final destination.

New York.

I walked into the big apple and sat on a bench. I just needed a relaxer.

"Hi I'm Jacob" the cute boy next to me said.

"Lia" I shook his hand.

Yea. It was Jacob. I wonder if he realized if it was me.

"I've been looking for you. For 5 years and 8 days" he stared at me.

"I finally found you" he shoved his lips onto mine.

"I love you" I whispered.

"You wouldn't imagine how long I've been waiting to here that" he held me close to his chest in a hug.

"You don't know how long I've been waiting to say that" I closed my eyes.

"Lia." He looked down at me and I looked up at him.

"Will you Marry me" he got down on one knee. I smiled. "Yea" I began to cry "this time no running away. Without me that is" he pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead.

"I promise. No more searching"
