"Mom, can we please pick up Gabby?" "I mean she is my friend and at the moment we do have one extra gun and she's in the area." Begged kazuna.

"Sure, why not honey." "I mean it's alright for now since Sammy isn't even two years old yet." "Plus I wouldn't want him to use a gun at his age...It would mentally scar him if he did...So yeah it's alright."

"Yes!,Thanks mom!"

"Your welcome sweety."

With that the family drove to Gabby's house.

Once the family arrived Kazuna got out and ran inside the house.

"Gabby! We have to get out of here!" "The disease is making its way towards us!" "You have to come with me!" Kazuna shouted.

"Alright!" "Be right down!" Gabby shouted back.

After a few minutes of waiting Gabby came down with a bookbag on her back and a suitcase filled with her things.

"Glad you could make it down here mate."

To this Gabby only nodded her head in response.

"Anyways let's go." "My family is waiting for us."

Gabby once again nodded and followed Kazuna out the front door but before she exited her house she grabbed her keys.

Gabby locked her house door behind her, threw her luggage into the trunk and hopped in the families' car.

With that the family restarted the car and drove out of the city once again looking for a place that was safe.

"Hey Gabby, I hope we get to meet some really cool people! What about you?"

"I don't know,guess it never even crossed my mind seeing as we're trying to escape from death." She paused thinking for a moment. "But I guess I hope the same and maybe for all of this to end happily." Said Gabby quietly.

"That's a good idea Gabby,just think, the two of us going on adventures and meeting new people while trying to save the world!, It'll be great!" exclaimed Kazuna.

"I guess..."

Gabby was silent for a moment before turning to Kazuna and asking;

"Hey, Kazuna, do you think....do you think that we'll ever make it back there one day?"  Gabby asked uncertain of her own voice as she pointed towards the rear-view window.

"Of course I think we'll make it back there some day Gabby! Why do you ask?"

"I...I'm just thinking...what if, what if we don't make it back alive? What if everything that we've worked so hard to gain and get here will be gone? Then what'll happen to us?" Gabby asked voice trembling.

"Gabby, don't worry I promise we'll make it back, all of us will make it back whether I have to drag all of us back there." Conviction evident in my tone.

Gabby smiled slightly and said;

"Ok...then I'll hold you to that...Kazuna."

"Hehe, Alright then it's settled, your on!"

It was then that layla, Sammy, and Kazuna's parents had turned around and said;

"Kids, we may have to stop pretty soon because if we don't we might fall asleep behind the wheel and get us all killed." "Ok?"

"Ok!"

(Time skip)

When nightfall arrived the family stopped their car in a "camp site" for cars. The family decided to get out and stretch for a bit and then get ready for bed. When it was time to go to bed the car had been shut off and all doors and windows locked. The family had now been tucked away in warm wool blankets covering them and sheilding them from any danger that night allowing the family to sleep peacefully.
