Rebecca Finnegan is thirty years old, in medical school, and still living with her parents. Granted, it's so she can help her parents look after her younger sister, Diana, after her heart transplant, but it doesn't make her feel any less like a freeloader.

Now that Diana is on the full road to recovery, Rebecca decides to find a new place to live. She could move in with her childhood friend, John Watson, who has returned from Afghanistan. but they don't have enough money together. An old friend from college then introduces them to Sherlock Holmes, the world's only-consulting detective... someone who will change both of their lives... especially Rebecca's.
