naoya hated kiyo.
the green-haired male embodied all the stigma of the zenin family. however, even those that were part of the zenin clan, he looked down upon, as they were not above his own personal gain.
maki was considered inappropriate with her independent attitude, as naoya strongly believed that women are to only serve as wives.
hence why naoya hated gojō kiyo with a fierce passion.
the male was only born a few years later than the gojō twins, to which everyone had praised his birth as he became the most plausible heir to the zenin clan — excluding fushiguro of course.
he was prideful, arrogant, and disrespectful.
since long ago, the gojōs and zenins hated each other. their heads and ideals clashed against each other, and as an attempt to mend their relationship, an arranged marriage was in session.
gojō kiyo and zenin naoya were to wed once naoya was of age, curtsy to the previous head of the gojō clan and the current head of the zenin clan.
however, with the gojō twins' parents deceased at an early age, kiyo was quick to break her own engagement as she was going to marry a man that she loves, not a condescending man that looks down upon her and expects her to birth him many children.
their first meeting left an everlasting impression on the green-haired boy, as kiyo only prompted his ideals that women are to only look good like a antique to be shown off.
he was elated knowing that his future wife was one of the descendants of the gojō household, which meant that she was to have excellent manners and their child would have the potential of possessing both the ten shadows technique and, or, the six eyes.
however, kiyo was not going to be a stay at home wife. she was aware of her duties of keeping sukuna sealed, but she knew she was meant for greater things, with the encouragement of satoru and getō of course.
hence why she broke off the engagement as soon as her parents died, leaving her and satoru to run the gojō clan even though it's only the two of them as of currently.
naoya fumed.
the male would never forgive kiyo for leaving him, as they could've ran the zenin and gojō clan together, with children more powerful than the current generation.
it was all kiyo's fault.
"it never fails to surprise me how cold the zenin heir could be", the male sitting across from naoya chuckled.
the two sat alone in a deserted room, where they could talk about business without any unnecessary eavesdroppers.
naoya smirked.
"I could say the same. after all, blood is thicker than water; isn't that what the people from the kamo clan believe?"
"different people have different views. anyways, what's a good date for the attack? I assume you've got everything already prepared?"
"how about the twenty-fourth of december? I heard from my father that the shogun's hosting an end of the year party. it'd be great since there'll be many people to toy with", naoya suggested.
"I see you're quite detached from your clan", the man lowly chuckled.
"they're nothing but a bunch of weak, useless people who either couldn't inherit the passed down technique or are born as a woman. other than me, I see no one else that rivals my position", naoya haughtily explained.
"not even fushiguro megumi? I heard that if gojō satoru were to die, he'd be reintroduced back into the zenin clan, and maybe even become head of the family", the man mocked, taking a sip of oolong tea.
naoya's playful smile dropped, immediately scowling.
"I'll kill fushiguro megumi along with gojō kiyo. I'll leave gojō satoru up to you", naoya stated.
"and I still get sukuna ryōmen right?", the blue-haired male chimed in, busting through the doors with no manners whatsoever.
"yes mahito, you can take care of sukuna ryōmen with the rest of our lovely comrades".

"megumi, you've been sneezing quite a bit. did you not dress warm enough? you know it's mid-november", kiyo nagged, draping a blanket over the male's shoulders, meanwhile sukuna started fake coughing.
"ryōmen, go put on another layer", kiyo casually dismissed, to which the demon king couldn't be more offended.
"why don't you help dress me then?", sukuna grinned, to which uraume, who was standing by the door side with an extra haori, had wondered if this was a bad timing.
"oh look! uraume-san's got one for you", kiyo pointed out, to which sukuna had glared at the monk, who had just dipped their head in apology.
"oh by the way kiyo-san, I heard that gojō-sensei's birthday is coming up! when's yours?", itadori asked, making everyone look over at the idiotic boy.
"they're...twins...itadori", kugisaki slowly said.
"yeah an—OHHHHHH!! I-umm...s-SORRY KIYO-SAN!", itadori apologized, bowing his head as he accidentally slammed it onto the table in front of him, nearly spilling fushiguro, kugisaki, yoshino, and sukuna's cup of tea.
"you guys stop teasing itadori", kiyo hushed, making the students and demon king cease their laughter as kiyo gently blew on itadori's forehead.
"does it hurt?", the priestess worried.
"oh no it's okay! but what are you and gojō-sensei planning for you two's birthday? a party?! A HOTPOT?! A HOTPOT WITH HOT GIR—"
"it's their birthday, not yours!", kugisaki interrupted, slapping the back of itadori's head as he started pouting a bit.
kiyo only chuckled as she just shrugged.
"I usually let satoru decide since I'm not very creative with these things", kiyo smiled, excusing herself for a moment as she heard hakaku and nozomi hollering for her.
"I'll be right back", kiyo assured as she left the dining room, to which the students — excluding fushiguro — had leaned in close, huddling together.
"what should we get for kiyo-san?", yoshino whispered.
"should we just all pitch in?", kugisaki suggested.
"what about you, fushiguro? what do you think?", the orange-haired girl asked.
"I...I already have something in mind...", the dark-haired boy muttered, scratching the back of his head as he awkwardly avoided his classmates' shocked gazes.
"excuse me?"
"I said...I already have something in mind...so I won't be pitching in. sorry".
kugisaki gasped meanwhile yoshino just softly let out a chuckle.
"fine! then we'll all go shopping and see who gets kiyo-san the best gift!"
"I'm in!!", itadori excitedly cheered, with yoshino joining in by slightly raising both his hands.
sukuna merely snorted, making the students snap their heads towards the demon king.
"utterly pathetic".
"oh yeah? think you can do better?", itadori challenged, to which yoshino had gently tugged on the male's arm, signaling for him to calm down a bit.
"you dare challenge me?", sukuna scoffed. "I know I can do better".
"fine! we'll each have a set budget of five strings of mon for kiyo-san's gift. on the seventh of december, when she reveals the presents, whoever gets her the present that makes her give the biggest reaction wins!", itadori stated.
"deal!"
"are you in, fushiguro?", kugisaki asked, to which the dark-haired male had hesitated.
he wasn't confident in winning, but it was just a silly game to participate in.
"I suppose?"
"great!", kugisaki grinned, clasping her hands together as this was another reason for her to splurge a little while shopping.
"then what should we get for gojō-sensei?", yoshino chimed in, to which the other three had looked up, lost.
"u-umm....l-let's just chip in and get him a mirror so that he can look at himself all the time", kugisaki suggested, to which sukuna had snorted.
"y-yeah...let's do that...", itadori quietly agreed, to which fushiguro had just nodded.
did the students have a bias? no, absolutely not!
fushiguro though?
maybe, just a little though.
