"what's your type of women?", tsukumo asked as kiyo had just pretended that she did not hear the question.

tsukumo yuki had a habit of asking men what their types were and it had obviously stuck since once of her students — tōdō aoi, now a third-year at the school of heiankyo — had picked up on it too.

"huh? why're your asking? interested?", sukuna grinned, to which tsukumo had only smiled.

"don't be flattered. I ask everyone I meet that question. and if you don't believe me, you can even ask kiyo about it", tsukumo replied, to which sukuna had just scoffed.

"well?"

"hold the fuck on! I'm thinking", sukuna spat, going through his memories of all the women he's fucked throughout the centuries.

there were so many women that he couldn't even remember half of them, but from the ones that he's shared a "passionate" night with, he didn't see a particular pattern either, as there were shy ones but also stubborn ones that he eventually broke down.

"any girl that I can fuck, honestly, but preferably the obedient ones", sukuna grinned, rubbing his chin with his pointer finger and thumb as he just shrugged.

tsukumo stifled a laugh as kiyo had glanced over at the chuckling woman.

"I see...and to think, I would've thought you preferred a woman who challenged you a bit", tsukumo stated, getting out her talisman as kiyo had readied her bow and arrows.

"I've yet to find someone that has challenged me and succeeded. women are weak, and that's that", sukuna scoffed, to which tsukumo had only hummed.

"thank you both so much! it's an honor to have two priestesses here to save us from all those demons", the chief of the village bowed, to which kiyo had simply helped the old man stand back up, as she wasn't a fan of an elder bowing for what she's supposed to do.

"please, it's our job", kiyo smiled as the old man had let out a warm laugh.

"well then stay safe out there, and best of luck", the man replied as he went back to his little hut with his wife, meanwhile the three had traveled a bit further away from the village itself.

"here should be fine right?", tsukumo yawned, to which kiyo had nodded as the white-haired girl had taken out a jaded bead, slicing a small cut along her palm as she let her blood drip onto the bead.

the mix of power and blood had aroused many demons deep within the forest, eliciting a feeling of thirst for more bloodshed.

sukuna merely watched as he chose a branch to sit on, as a multitude of demons had quickly charged out of their hiding spots and prepared to attack the two women.

"ah, what a bunch of boring demons", tsukumo loudly commented, to which many of the demons made an irritated expression and screeched as they had turned into ashes when a talisman was slapped onto their bodies.

from long to short to big to small, the yōkai varied with some having centipede-like bodies meanwhile others had the strength of an ox and features of a dragon.

"how're you holding up?!", tsukumo shouted, glancing over as another talisman was promptly slapped on the demon's buff arm.

"fine", kiyo calmly stated as with another arrow shot, the demon had screeched in pain as it dissembled into dust.

after nearly all demons were slayed with a few of their bodies cut up since tsukumo and kiyo had ran out of tailsmen and arrows, the villagers had leisurely trickled out of their huts in celebration.

"oh bless you both!! thank you both so much", the chief cried, to which kiyo had only smiled as tsukumo just shrugged.

the light-haired girl didn't exactly like doing such jobs — as she was forced by the higher ups — but tsukumo preferred finding a way to exterminate all demons instead rather than just killing them one by one.

"the bodies themselves will decompose in due time, so unless you have other uses for them, you all can just leave it here", kiyo explained, to which the chief had nodded as kiyo skimmed through all the villagers, who were beyond thankful.

"thank you, thank you!! we don't have much, but please accept these pieces of clothing", the chief exclaimed as his wife had came over with some brightly colored kimonos and some other fabrics.

"thanks then!", tsukumo grinned as she immediately snatched up the goods, to which kiyo had just slightly smiled as the villagers had bowed once more before heading back.

"do you want anything kiyo?", tsukumo asked as she let the girl observe all the fabrics.

"I'll just take one, and you can keep the rest", kiyo said as she picked up a dark blue scarf and neatly folded it up.

"then I'll get going. thanks for helping out today", the woman said, to which kiyo had slightly dipped her head in acknowledgment.

"you know kiyo...I really miss the old times when you'd talk to us more. I'm sure getō wouldn't—"

"it doesn't matter anymore", kiyo smiled, turning away as she walked towards the tree that sukuna was perched on top of.

"it's all in the past now".

tsukumo just sighed as she trudged away, as she believed that unless getō were to personally tell her so, kiyo would forever be closed off and self-blaming.

"sukuna, ready to—"

kiyo suddenly stopped as she realized that sukuna was missing from his spot on the branch, to which the priestess had worried that the demon king might've escaped and decided to wreck some havoc.

the girl then heard a light snoring, to which kiyo had stepped over a brush as she saw the pink-haired yōkai laying — spread out — across the grassy ground, with the tree next to him providing some shade.

kiyo stifled a chuckle as she neared the demon, kneeling beside his head as she observed his face upside down.

the girl tucked her strands of hair behind her ears so that when her head loomed over sukuna's, her hair didn't bother him.

it was quite unnatural to see the male so peacefully sleeping, seeming as if he was just another villager. he almost didn't seem like the killing machine depicted throughout history.

kiyo softly sighed as she decided that it'd be fine for them to stay here momentarily until sukuna awoke.

however, just as kiyo had decided to relax, a blue demon from earlier with a buff human-like form had regenerated, catching the girl off guard as it scratched the girl's back, having to have made a pretty deep gash as kiyo's blood had tainted her white kosode.

the girl winced in pain as sukuna suddenly yawned, waking up as the male proceeded to stand up and glance over at the demon and hurt priestess.

"huh? it's still not over yet?"

kiyo heavily breathed as this situation was beyond ideal. she had expected sukuna to fully take this advantage and force her to take off the bracelet, but the girl's vision started wavering as she had quickly passed out from the poison that was spreading.

"oi! miko, you left one alive", sukuna stated, to which when no response was heard, sukuna had glared at the demon.

"did you do this to her?"

the blue demon with four dark blue lines across its head started to slightly sweat at the demon king's interrogation.

though it could not speak, there was a jade bead embedded at the center of his chest that boosted his powers, to which it had created a large golden ball of flames and blasted it towards sukuna in fear.

"idiot", sukuna muttered as he easily deflected it as the worried demon had frantically tried to kill off sukuna, to which the yōkai king had taken the demon's head and smashed its body into the ground, making the area around them crack.

"come on, try harder", sukuna mocked, stepping the demon deeper into the ground.

"pathetic. can't believe we're both classified as special grades".
