Chapter 7- The Deal (Atlantis Falls Crossover Part 1)

KrakenKid
My eyes followed the gray truck pull up from the safety of my hiding spot. Out of the corner of my eye, one of the Illithids began to move into a position to strike, almost about to, but I held up a tentacle and they stopped. I stood as  still as I could manage. Normally, I would be bouncing from impatience but now wasn't the time for that. This was extremely important and sensitive work. I couldn't afford to mess it up now.

Within the walls of the heart of Atlantis, me and a team of my most trusted troops hid, not too far from the Bank Of Atlantis. There were many valuables inside, but the only one we wanted today was the one in that truck. It was too risky to attack for it while it was being transported, too out in the open, but if we could get to it before it was stored away, it would all be worth it.

The plan was this: hide near the bank anywhere we could manage and wait. Once the package arrived, let them take it out and then attack. Some of them were to take out the truck while the rest goes for the treasure. The bank was a little more secluded but had a tough security, especially since my last raid on it, but going against the bank security was a cakewalk considering I've been against the army and the King. Once in our hands, flee with it and get home. If we see reinforcements coming, either finish quickly or flee. We might be able to fight off the guards, but they would come in waves and eliminate us quickly.

There was little room for fault, but I did have a backup plan in case we needed extra time to escape.

My eyes stayed locked on an Atlantean from the truck. They had long hair and dark blue armor on. What was the deal with Atlantis and blue? Must be a popular color or something...

The long haired Atlantean unlocked the truck, swinging the doors open before revealing a black suitcase from inside. My head turned to Merril. Holding her head in one hand and a sword in the other, she looked ready for anything. Merril was the best at one handed fighting in the whole Conch Command, most likely because her other hand was always full. I gave her a nod, telling her one thing: It was time.

A smile appeared on her face as she spread the word to the rest. It wasn't long before everyone was waiting on me. I just needed to give the signal.

I waited one more moment, letting the target move a little more, then rushed forward, gun in hand and shot right in front of the one holding the suitcase. There were three of them currently and fifteen of us. From what we knew, there would be around ten more inside. We had the numbers and I wasn't going down without a fight.

I had fired the first shot, which told the rest of the Tide Changers it was time. We charged with me leading them to victory.

The three Atlanteans currently there made a mad dash inside but we followed. In the bank, I counted fourteen threats total. Looks like Crater Face wasn't too far off. With two Illithids taking down the truck for no escape, it was 13 vs 14, with my team on the lower end, but they didn't have something we did: Me.

The two sides clashed and a fight broke out. One immediately tried to tackle me but I juked left. They missed, hitting Merril instead but I wasn't worried. She could handle herself. If anything, they would be finished off in five minutes tops. The suitcase was still surrounded by three people, but I couldn't let it go. They huddled by the doors to the vault, trying to get in as quickly as possible.

Moving left, I shot while in motion, hitting one shoulder and the other directly in the chest. One crumbled, leaving two. The one not holding the treasure was much quicker, springing forward with a combat knife in hand and slashing at me. I backed up, avoiding the first attack but not prepared for the follow up. The blade broke skin and blood misted the air. I winced but shot right at them, getting a hit on their dominant shoulder.

They stumbled back, giving me the advantage. I leaned on my back tentacles and used the rest to sweep them off their feet. Their head hit the ground and they were out. My gaze soon turned to my remaining enemy, the long haired one holding the suitcase.

They narrowed their eyes. I returned the look, then glanced around.

Though we might have been winning, it wasn't by much. At least seven Illithids were on the ground, either dead or out cold, hard to tell which. Merril, the only general I brought along, was finishing up what looked like her third challenger. Any others were doing the same. There were some bystanders, but all of them hid away, clearly not fighters. We might have had the upper hand, but time was running out. Reinforcements would be coming soon, and with out small group becoming even smaller by the moment, I needed to act fast.

Pulling out the red and orange sword, I bolted for it. I earned a bullet in the shoulder but with a close ranged slash like I did, they were soon eliminated. I snatched up the case, hesitating on opening it up to look at the loot but a voice interrupted me.

"My lord, the royal guard is coming! We have to flee!" I nodded, clutching the suitcase like it was the most precious thing in the world.

"RETREAT!" I called to the remaining and quickly put down a timed bomb, set for five minutes. As I got out the entrance, the guards were starting to reach us, making a beeline straight for me. I smirked. Of course they would go for me, but I already had a distraction plan. Searching through their ranks, a black and white figure pushed to the front. That penguin always came to spoil my fun, but today I was glad he stuck to his old ways.

"KrakenKid! You won't get away! We have bigger numbers, just give it up." Cody grinned, feeling as though he held my fate in his hands.

I chuckled, making his expression drop a bit. "Maybe instead of taking care of me, you should check that bomb in the bank. There sure is a lot of people in there... Shame if they couldn't make it out in time."

In seconds, Cody's face turned horrified. He paused but just like I thought, he ordered his troops to rally in the bank. I couldn't help but smile at my own victory and continued on my way home. I had a long road ahead before I was totally in the clear, but something told me I would get there uncontested.

In the safety of the Conch Command, I slammed the suitcase on Darrel's desk, letting out a long sigh. "I lost the majority of the team I brought, this better be worth it."

Darrel smiled, cracking it open and revealed what was inside: a large and practically perfect diamond. My eyes widened at the sight. Just starting at it made me feel like I'd get lost. "It's worth it alright." Darrel said. "This is going to get us a lot of money, more than you've ever seen."

I gaped a little more but left, letting Darrel do all the dirty work. He didn't need my help anyways. I made my way up to my room and laid in bed, sinking below the covers. Sleep was slowly descending on me but I couldn't help but think about today's mission. I lost more than half the troops, that was worse than normal. Atlantis was really stepping up their game.

As I drifted off, my last though was a wish. I wished for a way to gain more power, a way so I wouldn't loose as many troops.

And I dreamed of something strange.

My eyes opened, feeling the strange energy from the dream but I was still in my room, on my bed. I might have had some weird dreams, but having one in the exact place I fell asleep was abnormal. I contemplated whether if it were really a dream or not, but eventually I couldn't deny how I felt. Everything was just to surreal.

I slipped out of my bed, walking to the center of the room but stopping and doing a full 360. Everything was exactly the same, the only thing missing was the guards.

"Wow, nice place you got here!" A strange voice came out of nowhere. It sounded distorted, echoing a bit. I whipped around, but stopped at the sight of something that wasn't there before, or rather someone.

"Most of you villains just have a simple castle but I'm liking the giant shell! The interior is pretty classy as well. I could get used to this."

I just stared, mouth hanging open.

The being floated in the air, not swimming but simple standing there. Their body was nearly flat but that wasn't what perplexed me.

They were a yellow triangle. Looking at their body more closely, they looked to have outlines for bricks so probably a pyramid. They had one eye, white with a stretched, black pupil with four short eyelashes on the top and bottom. Attached to the triangular body was small black limbs, very thin and practically unreal. They wore a tall and black top hat with a small bow tie to match.

"You know, if you keep your face like that long enough, it'll freeze." His fingers snapped which made me flinch, but my face didn't move. I attempted closing my mouth, but with no avail. I couldn't move it.

As I panicked, the being laughed, their body glowed every time he spoke or made a noise. "We wouldn't want that to happen, would we?" With another snap, I could move it again.

I backed up, eyeing him suspiciously. "Who are you?" I demanded, trying to sound a little less scared than I was. Something about this guy just creeped me out.

"Oh, I have many names. "Destroyer of worlds", "The demon in your dreams", "AAAAA DON'T KILL ME", casual names, but you can just call me Bill."

I blinked, trying to process what he just told me. "... Bill?"

"Bill Cipher! The one and only! I had this imposter once, but they're no longer a problem."

There's no way this is real. I looked around for something out of the ordinary. Other than Bill, there wasn't much. At least I could assume Bill was a guy, thought it's hard to tell with a triangle. "That's... Nice. Well Bill, I'm-"

"KrakenKid , leader of the Tide Changers, enemy to Atlantis, a rising villain who doesn't mind a little chaos to get what he wants. I know who you are. I've been watching you for quite sometime."

"W-watching?" I managed to stutter out. Now that was just creepy!

"Of course. You interested me. Plus, I'M ALWAYS WATCHING." In a sudden moment, his voice became deep and his colors changed, turning to a deep red body and a black eyes, and then back to normal.

I paused. "That's... Kinda ominous but what is going on? Am I dreaming?"

Bill laughed. "Yep! Welcome to the dreamscape kiddo! Anything can happen, like this!" He snapped his fingers, then everything turned upside down but the only thing that fell was me. Swept off my feet, I tumbled backwards and hit what once was the ceiling.

"You earthlings and your concept of gravity is hilarious! It's so boring, it never changes at all!"

Picking myself off the ground, I huffed. "Earthling? I'm gonna guess you aren't from around here."

"Heh, nope! Come visit sometime! If you're lucky, that soft flesh of yours won't be burned off!"

"I'll pass." I chuckled lightly. I thought to myself for a moment before asking more. "Why are you here? If you've been watching me for so long, why come now?"

"Well Goldy," I raised an eyebrow at the nickname. "I've got powers and abilities that can make your head spin. Literally! Hey, wanna see a cool trick? I can make you imagine everyone you've ever cared about dying!"

He raised his hand but I was quick to stop him. "No! Don't!"

Bill chuckled, his whole body shaking from it. "None of you earthlings ever want to see that, makes me wonder! Wow, look at the time!" His one eye suddenly morphed into a ticking clock. "It's time for you to go! I'd love to chat but I'll get to it later."

"Wake up? But I don't feel like I slept as all!"

"That's your problem! I'll see you around, maybe sooner than you think!"

I jolted up right when the guard called my name. "My lord, Gnash wants to speak with you! I think he's downstairs."

I blinked, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes and trying to comprehend it all. Either that was real, or a really weird dream... Tough call. My body pleaded not to move but I knew I had to. I grabbed some food, my phone and gun before heading down there. I moved sleepily, still feeling exhausted.

At the very bottom of the staircase, the stone golem stood there. "What? I was trying to sleep!" I spat.

The general shifted uncomfortably. "I know and I hate to bother you but I wanted to inform you about our tunnels being attacked. Angry Whaleguls apparently."

I huffed. "Are they gone?" He nodded. "Well then it could have waited until morning! Sheesh."

As I was going back up, Gnash seemed hesitate but blurted something out. "We lost 22 troops in the fight. Most Illithids but some crab soldiers were taken."

I froze and whipped around. "22? That's way more than usual! What happened?"

"They were really strong and not only did they have many babies, but both parents were there. I'm sorry, I tried to help but they left as soon as I got there."

I rubbed my forehead, trying to wrap this around my head. I let out a sigh. "... Just tell Bruce we need to step up training and send everyone down there. I'm going to take a quick nap."

Gnash nodded and left, leaving me alone. I groaned, starting up the stairs but stopping in the middle and pressing my back against the wall, slowly sliding down into a sitting position. My eyes flickered closed. "If only I could get more power..."

"Power huh? I can help with that."

My eyes flew open at the all too familiar, distorted voice. "Bill? What are you doing here?"

The triangle floated close to the ground and summoned a black cane out of nowhere and began to swing it around. "I couldn't help but notice you're in a pickle Goldy." Bill slammed the end of his cane into the ground and leaned against it. "More power, I wonder where you can get that... Oh right, me!"

A sound of a snap rang out and the world was on fire. I let out an ear piercing scream before it returned to normal. I locked onto his single eye, realizing he was right. I needed power and he certainly had it. Though he had no mouth, something told me he was smirking. This wouldn't come for free, that was for sure.

"What do you get out of it?"

"Well Goldy, I get so bored. Your world might be entertaining with all the weapons you come up with, but I wanna see some REAL CHAOS." His form flickered from red and black, back to yellow and black. "I know you'll do a great job at that. You want to take over Atlantis? I can sure help with that. I can give you the power needed, I just need a vessel."

"Vessel?" I echoed.

"Of course! Using my abilities outside of the dreamscape without being in the world is difficult. I need to use a vessel, something to act as helper to get my power out. Fortunately, your body is perfect! Just let me use it and Atlantis will be at their knees!" He held out his hand, it sparked with a strange blue fire. "Do we have a deal?"

I stared at his hand, checking my options but eventually grabbed it, giving a firm shake. "Deal. So how does this whole "Vessel" thing work?"

Bill's grip on my tentacle increased, then his eye flickered red. "I'll show you."

He began to pull, but it wasn't on my body. It was like I was being ripped away from inside, like something was splitting me in half. I squeezed my eyes shut, letting out a small cry in pain.

With one final tug, I felt myself fly into the air and then hover in place. My body was lighter than the water around me and strangely enough, I didn't feel real.

Soon I realized why I felt like this. I wasn't in my body anymore. Though I still looked the same, I was translucent and a strange white glow surrounded my body. "What?" I tried to feel my arms but they just phased right through each other. "What's going on? What happened? What did you do?" I asked, whipping around, but after a full circle, Bill was no longer there.

"This can't be real..." I searched for some answer that it wasn't true. My eyes drifted to my body, lying on the stairs, almost like I fell down. My heart stopped as it started to moved.

The head was kept down as my physical body stood up. The head soon inched up, locking eyes with me and gave a grin that sent chills down my spine.

"Oh, but it is Goldy!"A disordered voice came out of what used to be my mouth, then started to laugh as I gaped in horror.
**************************
Late update, I know but here it is! My finished product!

This was a crossover between Atlantis (Obviously), and a show called Gravity Falls, which is really good and I would recommend. If you don't watch it, don't worry, there isn't many references other than Bill Cipher, who is a character. If you haven't seen it, just enjoy it as it is and don't worry, you have all the information you need in here! I just really wanted to do this.

Sorry for the late update, I have testing so for the next week or so, I'm going to be less active but I will update when ever possible!

I hope you liked it! The beginning actually turned out longer than expected. Be sure to comment your thoughts! Bye!
