Author's pov 

Days started to pass like this. 

It's been 3 months since their wedding. In these 3 months Kahani has adjusted very well in her house with her in-laws ,Deep and Disha. 

Deep's parents are very happy that they got a daughter like Kahani who is perfect in everything. They are relieved that Disha has got a perfect mother who loves her to death.

The relationship between Kahani and Deep is moving steadily. 
They both have become best friends now.  Deep is always being cautious about Kahani's well being and comfort in the house ..on the other hand, Kahani is always caring about him and helping him out in his work as well. They both are also enjoying their time which they spent with Disha together. 

His parents are happy that  their son has once again started to live his life, he is smiling and happy.

 Though Deep can't forget Lekha whom he loves the most ,he is trying to be practical and live in the present for his daughter with the help of Kahani. 

Kahani doesn't forget to thank Lekha for giving her such a wonderful family. In fact Deep has noticed her crying at night for her sister. Kahani is amazed to see how he consoles her when he is the one who is in pain the most. She can read the pain in his eyes for losing Lekha and it hurts her the most as she sees him like this. 

Both of them have become the healers of each other as their common pain lies in losing Lekha.

Kahani was feeding Disha who as usual was throwing tantrums . 

"Dishu ,aise nahi karte beta (you shouldn't do this ). Come on, eat it." She said, forwarding the food near her mouth and Disha turned her head to the other side.

Kahani sighed and kept the spoon on the plate.

She took Disha on her lap and kissed her nose.

"You don't want Mumma sad, right? You are a good girl ,right? Please baby...have the food. Otherwise mumma will be upset. " Kahani said and curled her lips downward in a fake sadness to put the effect. 

Disha looked at her mother innocently. Seeing her mumma's sad pout , she kissed her mumma's nose to make her happy. 

An overwhelmed Kahani kissed her forehead affectionately and surprisingly Disha ate her food peacefully after that, earning lots of kisses from her mumma.

"Good noon,girls." 

Hearing the familiar voice of her husband, Kahani turned around to see Deep entering the room.

"So early today !!!" Kahani asked him in astonishment as she saw him coming early from the office.

"Yes...Now go and get ready." Deep said to her. 

"Why?"  She asked in confusion. 

He chuckled and replied, "Because I am kidnapping you ." 
Mischievousness was shining in his eyes.

"Here?" Kahani asked in confusion as she saw herself standing along with Deep in front of a restaurant. 

Deep took her inside the restaurant and they both took their place.

After convincing her a lot, Deep took her out and throughout the way he didn't reply to her where he was taking her.

"Yes… I thought that you always stay at home and even I didn't take you outside as well from after our marriage. So I decided today we will have lunch together and after watching a movie we will return back to home. " Deep said to her.

Kahani smiled at him and said ,"It's very thoughtful of you..Thank you. But we will return after lunch." 

"Why?" Deep asked with a frown.

"Disha is home, Deep. You know nah how much she cries when she doesn't see me or you near her. I don't want to stay away from Dishu for a long time." Kahani told him.

"Mumma bear, your Dishu is with her grandparents...trust me she will manage for a day. You need to enjoy it a bit . Dishu knows that Her Mumma needs a little break ." Deep tried to make her understand. 

"But …." 

"Not but or if . Come on Kahani.. besides that I also need to spend my time with my wife who is my best friend. So please , have mercy on this poor soul. " Deep said with a fake sadness.

Kahani giggled and said, " Okay, Mr. Draamebaaz. " 

They both had their dinner and enjoyed a lot while talking.

After that they went shopping and bought something for everyone.

They both went to the theatre to watch a movie.

"Oh you guys are back. " Deep's Mom said with a smile as she saw them entering the house.

"Yes Mom...where is Disha?" Kahani asked ,keeping her bag on the table.

"She is sleeping in our room , your Dad is there. I just came out to have some water." Hearing her , Kahani smiled.

"So what will you guys have for dinner?" Deep's Mom asked them.

"No need to cook, Mom. We brought it with us. " Deep said . 

"Let me freshen up. Then I will set the table." Saying this Kahani went to see Disha first then she went to her room to freshen up.

"So how's the outing ?" Deep's Dad asked as they sat down to have dinner .

On her lap Kahani had Disha who was sitting peacefully and looking at everyone's face in awe..sometimes playing with the bangles of Kahani's hand which was around her small tummy.

"It was wonderful, Dad. But somebody was more interested in her daughter than her poor husband. " Deep said dramatically. 

Kahani bit her lips to stop smiling and blushed as her in-laws threw teasing glances on her way.

"Hmmm….poor husband didn't get attention,  what have you done Kahani? See, he became sad." Deep's Mom said .

Kahani whined in embarrassment. Deep winked . His mom and dad chuckled ,seeing the antics of young couple.

After having their dinner, they went to sleep.

It was in the midnight when Kahani woke up due to being thirsty. She looked at the side table to see the jug empty.

Checking on her sleeping husband and daughter once, she went out of the room to bring some water. 

She went to the kitchen and drank some water. Filling the jug ,she started to walk towards her room.

While she was crossing the old bedroom of Deep ,she heard some sound. She stopped on her tracks. 

As she didn't hear the sound again, she thought that she misheard that. Letting out a sigh  ,she started to walk again.

But soon her feet froze as she heard the sound again. 

She stoop in front of the door and kept her ears on the door to hear the sound clearly.

"Why does it sound like footsteps?" She said to herself. 

"Should I check once?" She thought, biting her lips.

She at first thought to avoid it but curiosity brought out the desire and will power to see the source of the sound.

"But who will be? Maybe some mouse...let me see now. I will clean the room tomorrow. " She told to herself.

Till today she didn't step in to the room. 

But now she was determined to step inside the room.

Opening the door, she went inside. 

The windows were open as well as the door of the balcony.

Maybe Deep wanted to be it like that. She thought. 

Behind the bed there was a big portrait of Lekha and Deep's photo which made Kahani smiled sadly as she remembered her sister.

She was about to walk towards the photo when something caught her attention, making her freeze on her spot.
