Tempest's POV

I watched as Saphira flew to the southern part of the continent and disappeared in the sun, I huffed in annoyance. Then I saw that Arya was riding on the ground on a horse, and I growled. No woman should be turned down a great opportunity by a man, especially one that has a female dragon, but she seemed to be happy looking around at the environment in-front of her and I decided to leave it alone instead of taking the chance and having her escort freak out at the motion of a strange dragon coming out of the water and going for them. I shot forwards going my normal speed and I got to the connecting waters going to the lakes and I stopped. I didn't want to be in that dreaded small cramped lake again I would rather be out in the ocean than there, and I didn't want to go into the trees and forest because it would get so cramped and small in there that I wouldn't be able to move very effectively and my scales would rub off the bark from the trees. I was happy to find no evil here, but I could smell the lingering of an ancient evil here. I went around and flew back up to where the mountain of destroyed dragon eggs, and lost dragons souls were. I landed at the top and carefully tread on the dark, dead filled ground. I couldn't heal this because it would be a disgrace to our kind and an anger to the great tragedy of this memorial of the past. 

I looked at all of the dead dragons bones and eggs in sadness as I remember the tales mother used to tell me of the past of what happened in our great war. Tears formed in my eyes at the thought of my mother and I crushed the rock underneath me as I remembered what my testament for coming to the surface was all about. I looked at the giant forest beneath me and I looked left at the medium sized lake and I sighed before diving and sinking beneath the waves in an instant without a ripple or a sound. I swam to the bottom and decided to take a little nap, but I kept a wary mind of the water around me, its creatures and things that entered the water that didn't belong to the water as a living thing...like boats. After a half day in the water I was starting to cramp and get impatient, and then I saw a golden flash above me before it disappeared above the surface. Glaedr the golden dragon was calling me up and I didn't know if I wanted to greet him after what he did, and then I felt a presence try to enter my mind and I huffed making a large amount of bubbles break to the surface like an underwater volcano as I pushed away the presence. I stood stretching my cramped muscles and stood with my head just under the surface of the water. 

I looked at the edge of the water to see if I could stand on a ledge that would let me lift my head out of the water at least, and I saw on, but it was too steep to actually use. I huffed again, making more bubbles and opened my wings about halfway as the sides touched the edges of the lake and I pushed up disturbing the sand on the bottom and causing the fish to scatter as I rose out of the water to land on the surface on the other side of the lake and I glared at Glaedr with a little hate left over for treating Saphira like he did, and then I realized I had no further reason to be mad at him if they had gotten to terms. I changed my attitude towards him and extended my mind towards him and he accepted letting me in. 

I'm sorry for--- he started but I interrupted him

No it is I who had the bad etiquette towards something that happened a long time ago, but I am wondering where did Eragon and Saphira go. I thought that were to continue their training with you and Oromis. 

They had to go and fix a few things with the dwarfs he said and I hummed in interest when shall they be back I asked and I looked up and saw a flash of blue

Oh it looks like Saphira is back now I said and shot into the air towards her, and she saw me and hovered for a second as I reached her after a couple of seconds. 

Where is that rider of yours Saphira I asked and she flicked her tail behind her

I had to drop him off just before the lands of the dwarfs and leave due to the tensions in the area she said and I was very interested

What tensions I asked and she looked at me quizzically and I sighed what I can't ask questions?  Saphira immediately shook her head 

No, no I am just confused that you don't already know what is happening with you being alive longer than me and all she said and I growled a little, she was basically calling me old and I growled at her lack of understanding. 

Child I was underwater training after my mother was killed before my eyes, she didn't even get to retreat into her Eldunari to live on because the evil creature that killed her tried to take it, and lucky for us all it disintegrated into dust as soon as it left the water like all Eldunari of the sea dragons I growled making her shudder and hang her head in shame at her realizing her lack of sense for her previous question, and then she lifted it and looked at me. 

Why hasn't yours been destroyed then, it is out of the water along with you she said and I smiled. That was a moderately good question and I could already sense her understanding grow. 

I am...different I said I am stronger and that's why I don't just have one Eldunari, but more I said and her face turned into one of awe, and I continued but I must have you swear in the ancient language that you will not tell a soul about this so long as you live without my permission I said and once she did I let her go and she flew down, greeted Glaedr and they flew away to train by what I presumed about her body language as soon as he told her what they were going to be doing for the day. I smiled and turned before shooting into the ocean and swimming to the bottom before exercising and training for a long time before eventually I decided to sleep in the dark of night. 

Thanks for reading and I am sorry that I haven't updated this in such a long time, but I will try to make the next couple chapters longer due to me having finished the third book or the Eragon series and have a better understanding of their events. Also I had a really, Really bad Writers Block and I didn't have the mood to do anything but read and do school work, so by and the next chapter will be out soon...hopefully.
