to put it simply, caiden hawthorne is outgoing. literally nothing gets in his way when it comes to an idea, especially reason. if he thinks something is going to be fun, he goes through with it without considering the consequences. he's quite the definition of impulsive. of course, this often time lands him in trouble. while he could bat his eyes and play the money card for a lot of things, he doesn't. he knows that he makes bad decisions for the hell of it and he accepts the consequences head on, whether it be a simple wrath of his parents or a detention.

but, because he hardly considers others in events when he's make impulsive decisions, most have branded him a calloused boy, incapable of caring for others. while partially true that cade put himself before others more often than not, he does have a soft spot when it comes to his family. now it isn't to the point where he considers them in anything and everything he does, but it's apparent that he cares for them. his parents have always found it difficult to punish him because of how guilty caiden appears when something effects someone he actually cares about. he's just a reckless boy in their eyes. though, whether this is true or not, caiden doesn't know. wherever the truth to his personality is, he doesn't care to find it.

among this, caiden is known for being talkative. no matter who it is, he seems to be capable of talking their ear off. though, this is in less of an 'annoying' way and more so in an 'i like the sound of my voice' way. he doesn't seem to care who'll listen, so long as they are.

and, flirtatious, of course, cannot be forgotten. even if the girl has a boyfriend, caiden has never been one to hold his tongue. he goes for what he wants, and it's as simple as that. though, he does respect a girl's boundaries when she makes it clear she isn't interested.

lastly, caiden is the sort of guy people would describe as 'the life of the party'. no, he doesn't care much for getting them started, but he does make his presence known. he goes for what he wants and always encourages others to do the same, especially when it comes to social events. if something appears to be dull, you can certainly count on cade to search for a way to make it interesting.

the boy has always had two personalities it feels like. he has the side of him that wakes up early and spends time with his younger siblings and listening to his mother play the piano. the other side, well, that's the side everyone but his family knows. if the two were to ever clash, he isn't sure what he would do.

→oranges. many have commented that caiden always seems to smell like oranges. he always is snacking on them or having them for breakfast.

→reading. caiden would never admit this to anyone. not even his parents know that he has finished more than two books in his entire life. when cade finds down time, he'll occasionally read. he isn't a bookworm, but he isn't opposed to a good book every now and then.

→classical music. yes, this one is definitely something else shocking about caiden. however, his mother had grown up wanting to be a composer and still writes and plays music. growing up, it became his tie with her and something that they bond over.
