"Mooom!! Put me down!!" Shika struggled. You were currently dangling him from his feet with your blood upside down.

"Apologize to your father and I'll do that." You glared at him while Shikamaru was just watching the scene unfold.

"But you always call him an asshole!" He exclaimed. You rolled your eyes.

"I have a right to, I've been doing it since I was 12 years old, get with the program you underdeveloped bag of meat!" You replied.

"Ugh! Fine! I'm sorry!!" He finally said. You sighed and released him where he fell head first on the floor. Shikamaru sweatdropped at you.

"It's been 14 years and you still haven't changed since when we first started dating." He said with an amused smile.

"Hah! Like I'll ever change! I'm gonna be such a kick ass grandma someday, I'm so going to whoop ass even at 89! Hahahahaha!!!!" You exclaimed brightly. Shika stood next to his father and looked at you with raised eyebrows.

"Was she always--"

"Yes. Yes she was..." Shikamaru interrupted.

"Shika. Go out and train with Shikamaru. I'm going to cook and set the house on fire." You said, already turning on the oven.

"Run." Shikamaru suddenly said. Shika looked at him slightly confused.

"What?" He asked.

"I said run!" He exclaimed, grabbing Shika's wrist and taking cover behind a couch in the living room. They heard an explosion before smoke alarms going off.

"That's the third one!" Shika exclaimed. Shikamaru sighed.

"True, but I've gotten used to it." He replied with a smile on his face.
