"Mom! Guess what???" Excited 12 year old Miyū asked. You looked down at her and smiled.

"What's up?" You asked softly.

"I beat Boruto in our sparring match!!" She exclaimed happily. You chuckled.

"Of course you did. You're fabulous just like your mother." You said, ruffling her hair. Her head turned towards a photo frame which held a picture of you, Neji, and Miyū.

"What about dad? Was he fabulous too?" She asked. You nodded with a smile on your face.

"Of course. He was fabulous for marrying me." You replied with a giggle which she replicated.

"How's your Byakugan training going with Aunt Hinata?" You asked. Miyū hummed.

"It's going good. She's really strong like dad was." She replied. You raised a brow.

"Well, unfortunately you haven't inherited any of my Kekkei Genkai except blood control and demonic Jutsu. Not to mention you only have one Byakugan." You said, beginning to make dinner for the both of you. When Miyū saw black smoke arising from the pan, she raised a brow in question.

"Uh, mom?"

"I got this!!" You interrupted, only to jump back and knock a few things off the counter when a small explosion went off. Miyū sighed and placed her head in her hand.

"Okay, okay, just because I exploded the toaster once, set fire to the pan two times, and blew up the microwave three, that doesn't mean I can't cook." You defended.

"Really?" Miyū asked. You rolled your eyes.

"Fine, whatever. We'll eat out. Maybe we'll run into Choji. Grab those flowers, we'll stop to see your father first." You said. She nodded and hopped off the chair and grabbed the bouquet of flowers.

Miyū placed the bouquet of flowers on the stone plaque.

"Mom? How did dad die?" Miyū asked quietly, rubbing her eyes. You sighed and brought her closer to your body.

"On a mission. Some fucktards killed him." You replied quietly.

"But I thought dad was strong? How could he die that easily?" Miyū asked, staring up at you. You shook your head and crouched down to her level.

"It's not that simple, Miyū. They were after information that Neji had. Information about you." You said seriously, looking at her in the eyes.

"But why?" She asked.

"You're the successor of the Akuma clan. You also have Hyuga blood flowing through you as well. You're valuable to a lot of people. Your father died protecting not only me, but you too." You explained. She looked down and sniffed lightly.

"Come on. Let's go. All this serious shit is bothering me." You said, standing up and pushing Miyū in front of you. You looked back at the plaque and smiled.

"I love you, Neji. I'll see you when I die for the third time."
