"Ino, are you alright?" You asked the blonde once she awoke. It took her a minute to process everything. You knew from the way she owlishly blinked.

"Huh?" She muttered, looking around.

"What happened?" She asked, looking at you curiously. You sat down and shrugged lightly.

"Long story short the Infinite Tsukiyomi has been released. You and everyone else is now free from the Genjutsu. Though I don't doubt some people wish to still be in it." You quieted your voice.

"What's going to happen now?" She asked again. You once again shrugged.

"Dunno. Chances are Sasuke and I will be thrown in jail like sausages, interrogated, then sent off to the meat factory." You replied. Into sweatdropped.

"You do realize you're not... an animal, right?" She asked. You laughed and rested your arms on your legs.

"Yes, yes, it was only to lighten the mood since the atmosphere was as tense as Ruby's assho—"

"Well considering there's no more explosions or people that want to watch the world burn, I suppose we did." You replied, standing up. You held out your hand to her with a smile on your face.

"The most important thing is you didn't die." You said as she grabbed your hand and you pulled her up.

"Yeah, but a lot of us did." She stated sadly, looking around at the corpses. You nodded your head.

"It'll take time, but we'll manage. Time can heal all wounds, after all." You said, letting go of her hand.

"The only thing left though is a scar." Ino added quietly, probably remembering her father. You saw the tears prick at the corner of her eyes.

"Yeah, but a scar is better than an open wound, after all." You retorted, causing her to look at you.

"Scars remind you of your past. How you got them. The trauma and pain you went through when you got it. Yet when you look at it that's when you know you've survived. Sure, receiving it was a pain in the ass, but everytime you look at it, don't think of all the pain you endured and suffered. Think of all the pain you endured and survived it." You advised. Ino looked at you in slight shock before slowly nodding and wiped her tears away. You slowly pulled her into a hug, careful not to do anything against her wishes.

"Soon enough you'll realize that having scars isn't so bad. It just means you're a survivor. AndI'mtalkingphysicalscars,becauseifyougotanymentalscars,thenthat'dbehardertoheal,whichIwouldsuggestfindingsomehelpbecauseIdon'twantyoudoinganystupidshit." You added quickly, causing her to chuckle. You broke the hug and stared into her wide blue green eyes.
