As Naruto was running around all over the place he was slightly panicking because he couldn't sense your chakra much anymore.

'Kurama! Can't you sense her?!' He screamed to him.

'Are you an idiot? Y/n doesn't spare anyone's life if they're a threat. If he's there, you know she's not doing well.' Kurama replied.

'Gee, thanks...' Naruto sweatdropped. A few miles up ahead he could see some destroyed land, trees burnt or knocked over, and the lush green grass now nothing but dirt and rocks. Once he entered the battlefield, his eyes widened.

'What happened here?' He thought.

'Idiot, isn't it obvious? This is where that Y/n brat and Hachirou fought.' Kurama said. Naruto ran across the broken battlefield and jumped over craters that were embedded into the earth. He skidded to a stop at the edge of a gigantic crater. His eyes scanned inside the crater before his gaze landed on—

"Y/N!!!" He screamed before sliding down the side and running to you. Once he got over to you he clearly saw the condition you were in. Different weapons pierced your backside, pinning you to the ground. A lot of them had hit vital points in your body. There was a large pool of blood underneath you and you were as pale as the moon.

Anger filled Naruto's eyes, but quickly died down when he heard you slightly cough. He quickly kneeled next to you and started removing the weapons. He wanted to be as gentle as possible, but also wanted to save you faster. Once he removed all the weapons, he gently flipped you on your back and held you in his arms, cradling your head.

"Y/N! Y/N! WAKE UP! SNAP OUT OF IT!" He kept screaming. Tears pooled at the corner of his eyes, scared of you leaving him behind. He placed his head on your chest and faintly heard a heartbeat. It wasn't fast, nor was it strong. Your eyes slit open, making Naruto's go wide.

"Y/n!!! What happened?!" He screamed. You opened your mouth, but nothing came out. More like it couldn't. You felt something wet fall onto your blood stained cheek and realized he was crying.

"Why are you... crying...?" He heard your weak voice asked.

"What does it look like? You're... you're..." He couldn't even finish his sentence because more tears came out of his eyes. He gently laid his head on top of yours, closing his eyes.

"Oi... you dumbass... stop crying, will ya?" You quietly said.

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry..." He kept repeating. You quietly sighed before slowly and weakly raising your arm and gently touched his head with your hand, snapping him out of his mumbling trance.

"Stop apologizing, you ass." You said with a small smile. He raised his own arm and gently grasped your hand in his, squeezing it lightly. Your eyelids felt heavy, making you want to close your eyes, but you forced them to stay open.

"You'll be alright. Once I get you to Sakura, you'll be okay." He said with a smile. A miniscule smile appeared on your lips.

"Naru... to..." You muttered, not being able to keep your eyes open any longer. His smile was soon replaced with horror as your body grew more cold and your eyelids slowly closed.

"Hey...! Y/n!! Wake up!!!" He shouted while shaking you.

'Give it up, Naruto. She's gone...' Kurama said, trying not to sound like a little bitch. Naruto stopped moving for a little bit and found out that Kurama was right, much to his dismay. He clutched your body closer to his, hoping the heat radiating off his body would somehow bring you back. At this point, he didn't even bother holding back the tears anymore.

"Please don't go...

... I love you..."

'I don't feel Y/n's chakra anymore...' Kakashi thought. Almost all of the sensor type ninja couldn't sense your overwhelming chakra anymore.

"Ino! Check to see if Y/n's chakra is still sensible!" Shikamaru called to her. Ino nodded and put her hand in the jutsu formation, concentrating on finding your chakra. Her eyes snapped open as she fell to her butt in horror.

"What's wrong, Ino?" Choji asked.

"I-I don't sense her chakra anymore..." She whispered, slightly shaking. Everyone from Konoha's eyes widened.

"Y-you're not serious, are you?" Shikamaru asked, haunted by the fact that you died.

After Naruto was done with his crying fit, he gently scooped you up into his arms, bridal style.

"I'm bringing her to the others." He declared.

'Idiot, that'll only make the others feel worse.' Kurama said.

"They deserve to see her. At least one last time." He replied, sadness in his voice. He turned around and jumped away towards the battlefield with you in his arms.

'She didn't deserve this... she didn't deserve to die this way...' He thought angrily.

"W-what do you mean... she's dead....?" Shikamaru asked, his eyes wide with shock, though he sounded as if Ino was playing a practical joke on them. Everyone on the battlefield was quiet, not knowing what to say.

"YOU BASTARD!!!!!" Naruto screamed at Hachirou.

"Naruto!" Sakura scolded.

"WHAT THE HELL DID SHE DO TO DESERVE BEING KILLED?!" He shouted.

"She was in the way. I knew if I didn't kill her she'd be able to stop me." He replied from on top of his dragon. Neji didn't show it on his face, but he was upset on the inside, mad that he hasn't seen you in forever, and will only see your lifeless corpse. Shikamaru was just shocked beyond words. Every sentence he said he stumbled over his words, still not believing anyone as badass as you could or would die.

Kiba and Akamaru were just standing there like a zombie, their mouths hanging open. Kakashi on the other hand, couldn't do anything. His body wouldn't do anything he told it to, his mind kept creating these scenarios about how you died, and why he wasn't there. He realized you were the third person he let die.

Once clone Naruto saw the battlefield he sped up his pace, wanting to get this done with. Sakura was the first one to see the clone. And when she did she wished she hadn't.

"Y/N!" She screamed, causing everyone to turn towards her. The clone Naruto gently placed you on the ground when Sakura came running over, falling to her knees. Kakashi, Shikamaru, Kiba, the real Naruto, Tenten, Lee, Neji, Guy, Ino, Hinata, Choji, and Shino all ran over to where you laid. Hinata gasped and covered her mouth with her hands, not even being able to handle seeing you in the state you were in.

Sakura began checking your pulse, not being able to detect one. Kiba clenched his hands and grinded his teeth together while Akamaru whimpered and nudged your face with his nose. Neji looked away, his shoulders shaking lightly, not wanting to see you like this.

Shikamaru clenched his eyes shut, not fully processing was what in front of him. Kakashi's eyes closed as his head tilted down. Choji for once, completely threw away the thought of food and replaced that thought with you. Tenten was looking at you, but her mouth was covered with her hand.

Ino just full on started bawling her eyes out, not bothering to wipe her tears away. Guy's and Lee's lips started quivering as they sniffed up five pounds of snot back into their noses. Shino's shoulders dropped slightly. You and him never really talked, but he considered you a good friend. Sasuke didn't run with the others, but he saw your body and what Hachirou did to it. It made his blood boil.

Naruto was the worst of all. His shoulders were shaking violently, his eyes were clenched shut as well as his hands. His clone poofed away and all of the memories the clone experienced was transferred to Naruto, but that made him even worse.

"I see, so she finally died, huh?" Hachirou said, making Naruto's anger rise.

"I have to say she was a strong opponent, always making little comments that irked me. Unfortunately however, she lost her life in a meaningless way. Trying to protect the ones who she loved and cared for. Please. Akuma's are suppose to be heartless. Stone cold killers. Her and her mother are disgraces to the Akuma clan." Hachirou spat. Naruto grinded his teeth together, the urge to lash out becoming more and more tempting.

"I knew it from the moment I saw her. She wouldn't dare turn her back on you people. She's too mushy, too weak when it comes to her 'friends'." Hachirou said. That made Naruto snap.

"Stop spouting bullshit that isn't true!!!!!!" He screamed, looking down at the ground. That drew Hachirou's attention.

"Y/n may be apart of the Akuma clan, but that doesn't mean she has to follow in your footsteps!! You have no idea how much she's handled when we were younger, how much she endured from us just being friends!!!!" Naruto screamed.

"What do you mean?" Hachirou calmly asked.

"What do you think, dumbass?!?! The village hated me! They wanted nothing to do with me because I had the Nine Tailed Fox inside of me. But... when Y/n came along they averted all of their hate from me to her!!! Just because she was my friend and defended me!! Not only that she was dealing with her own problems as well! I was weak and afraid... I didn't have the courage to speak up to the villagers like Y/n did!! But because of that Y/n endured all of that hate, all of the whisperings, and avoiding, all of those disgusted looks that were originally directed towards me. But she never stopped smiling or making people laugh with her sense of humor!! No matter what you put her through, no matter how much torture she receives, she'll always be true to herself no matter how many people hate her!!!!!!!!" Naruto screamed, utterly silencing him.

"Why are you friends with that monster?"

"An Akuma being friends with that boy? The village is sure to be destroyed..."

"Whoever your parents are need to teach you who's safe to be around and who's not!"

"Shhhh, look, it's that girl..."

"Girl? You mean the one who's friends with that boy?"

"Yeah yeah. Come on, let's go. I don't want to be near her..."

No matter where you walked, who you looked at, or who you talked with, everyone just turned their back and walked away without a second thought. You, who had no family at that point, who was only a mere child, was being ignored simply because of the fact you were friends with Naruto Uzamaki.

"Y/n... are you sure it's okay?" A nervous Naruto asked from your side. You looked over to him and gave him a bright smile.

"Yeah! We're just looking after all. If anyone tries to hurt you I'll protect you, okay?" Naruto nodded, still a little uncertain. You both walked over towards a stand of masks and looked at them. Suddenly, the man that owned the shop stared at the two of you before taking an Anbu mask off the rack and throwing it at Naruto's head.

"I'll give it to you, now get lost!" He screamed. A look of confusion spread across Naruto's face.

"Huh?" He said before the man pushed him to the ground.

"Get outta here!" He screamed as Naruto landed on his butt. You immediately came running to his side and helped him up.

"What's the matter with you all of a sudden?!" Naruto asked. The man walked closer to the two of you as a small crowd gathered around you.

"Why'd you come here, you pest?" He didn't answer Naruto's question.

'Pest?' You thought annoyed.

"Why did I come here? I was just looking at the mask..." Naruto muttered as a reply.

"Well then get lost!" The man screamed. Your face darkened as you stood up in front of him.

"What the hell is the matter with you?!?! He's an innocent boy who means no harm and yet you're treating him as if he murdered your first born child!!!" You screamed in defense.

"Maybe he wouldn't be treated so bad if a demon like you weren't alive!!!" The man screamed back. Naruto slightly gasped and you grit your teeth, but continued to talk.

"Say whatever the hell you want to me!! I can take it!!' I can take anything from you annoying flies!!! And if you have a problem with my existence, then you'll just have to get rid of me yourself!!!" You screamed, your hair whisking up, making the man take a step back. Your gaze then landed on the people in the crowd.

"And if you lazy asses are just going to stand there and do nothing then what kind of people are you?!?!?! Letting two children be completely alone and isolated while you're drowning in self pity for being in the same village?!?! If you hate me and him so damn much, then leave the village!! No one said you had to stay here!!!" You screamed.

"Why are you defending that?" Someone asked from the crowd. Your head snapped in his direction, making the crowd slightly jump back.

"He's not a that!!! He has a name like every one of you idiots!!!!!! His name is Naruto Uzamaki!!!!! You better remember that!!! You know why?!?! Because he's going to become the Hokage and finally be acknowledged by all of you hardheads!!!!!" You screamed back, making Naruto's eyes widen.

"Y/n's the entire reason why I dream of being Hokage! Had Y/n not said that, I don't know where I would be!!! So, don't you dare insult her in front of me again!!!!!!!!!"

Then why can't I see anything...?

You felt like you were floating underwater, not moving, not breathing, just floating. You were slowly sinking to the bottom, bubbles of air escaping you every second. All of a sudden you felt someone or something grab your hand and slowly pull you to the surface. You finally were able to open your eyes, but the person that was in front of you was only a blur.

"Why are you here so early?" You heard their voice ask. Once your vision cleared, a familiar person was in your line of sight. It was none other than—
