Naruto and Sasuke's battle had ended with them blowing off each other's arms. They had released the Genjutsu together by using their other arms to form the... rat sign? You had stayed behind to help the people who had been released from the Genjutsu. You were currently with Hinata who looked confused beyond her mind.

"Are you okay, Hinata?" You asked, feeling her turn her head side to side.

"Yes. Thank you, Y/n-chan." She replied looking at you with a soft smile.

"What happened?" She asked softly, looking around at all of the people who had broken out of their condom confinement.

"Naruto and Sasuke had a fight. After they broke the Genjutsu that released you all." You replied. Hinata nodded.

"Y/n-chan, are you okay?" She asked, now noticing the bandages wrapped around your eyes. You felt her hands softly touch where the outside of your eyes are.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry." You replied, grabbing her wrists and gently pulling her hands away from your face.

"Just used the Ōnmyogan a little too much, that's all." You reassured, grasping Hinata's hands in yours.

Probably Y/n. She's more dominant.

Well obviously Y/n will need to let Hinata top every once in a while...

Hinata grabbed your hands and squeezed them.

"Y/n-chan..." She said quietly, causing you to hum in reply.

"I... want to stay by your side... forever..." She said quietly. You perked up slightly.

"Huh? Where did that come from?" You asked.

"I've... always admired you... how you were strong, brave, and not afraid of anything. You're... never afraid to show your emotions towards friends you trust. You're protective and headstrong. I've always been jealous of you." She confessed, tightening her hold on your hands.

"Jealous? Pffft. You're amazing too, Hinata." You laughed, causing her to look at you with confused eyes.

"You're extremely determined. You'll never give up no matter the circumstances. You fight for who and what you love, you'll keep standing up no matter how many times you're knocked down. That's way more impressive than mastering five different Dojutsu." You replied, a large grin on your face. Hinata's eyes widened, a small blush spreading across her face.

"What about Naruto, though?" You added.

"He's... amazing... but I don't think I feel like that towards him. Like I do you." She replied, looking down at the ground. You sucked in your breath and released your hand from her grasp and brushed it along her cheek, leaning forwards. Hinata's cheeks flared up in red when she felt your warm lips against her forehead.

"You're... a lot greater than you give yourself credit for."
