"Ugh, why did I decide to break off?!" You grumbled angrily while stomping around.

"GAH!!! I CAN'T SEE SHIT!!! THAT'S IT!!!!!! DEMON STYLE: RAGING WINDS!!!!" You screamed. Strong gusts of wind came swirling down, blowing all of the sand away into two huge piles of sand, creating a tunnel-like pathway.

And there you saw the entrance to the Sand Village!!!

"THANK HEAVENS!!!" You screamed while literally running towards your goal. In front of you were the four of them, calmly walking to their destination while you were like a bunny on steroids. There, right in your pathway, is none other than Naruto.

"NNNAAAAARRRRUUUUUUTTTTOOOOOOO!!!" You screamed. He turned around, as the pure look of horror appeared on his face.

"W-w-wait!! Y-Y/n!! AHHHHHAHAAAAAA!!!!" He screamed as you showed him no mercy and crashed into him while violently rolling like a tumbleweed while the others were just like O.O. You both stopped rolling with Naruto face-planted into the ground with his ass in the air, and you laying on your back below him. So you were like in a cross position. ➕.

Ruby-Chan: That's a plus sign, I KNOW, I couldn't find a cross in emoji's...*grumbles.*

"Y-Y/n! Why did you do that~?" He whined while rubbing his head as he failed to noticed he was still on top of you.

"Well excuse me if you didn't move fast enough." You retorted while sitting up.

"-sigh- Naruto, can you get off of me?" You asked. He looked down before his face turned red and scrambled off of you.

"S-sorry." He mumbled, embarrassed.

"Yeah yeah, it's fine." You said, completely unfazed and waving him off.

The five of you were running towards the infirmary where Kankuro was. He was poisoned, and was slipping away.

Tragic...

When you got to the entrance, an old lady spontaneously jumped towards Kakashi, but you were in front of him, so you literally just pushed her out of the way in mid air, and ran towards Kankuro.

"How dare you treat your elder like that you brat!" The woman yelled.

"Sorry, you were so pale you looked translucent." You said, waving dismissively over your shoulder. Once you got over to Kankuro, his breathing was shallow and quick and his heartbeat wasn't regular.

"Tch. Give me his records." You ordered. The doctors, or male nurses, or whatever nodded and handed you a clip board.

"This also has the list of ingredients in the toxin." One of them said.

"That's fine." You replied, taking the board. You scanned through it quickly, but thoroughly.

"It seems as though we're dealing with a heavily based metal toxin. I doubt we'd be able to make an antidote in time. His heart could stop beating at any minute." You said.

"What?! There must be another way!" Temari exclaimed.

"I can remove the poison, but Sakura, I'll need you. The rest of you please wait outside. I need you all to hold him down. He's going to feel pain, but it's the only option we have." You ordered. They all nodded and did as they were told. They held down Kankuro's legs, arms, and shoulders, while Kakashi, Naruto, Chiyo, and Ebizo were outside. Sakura was stationed next to you.

"I need you to keep healing the spot where I place my hands." You ordered. She nodded.

"Yes!" She replied. You nodded.

"Alright, here goes." You said, doing hand signs.

Bird, dragon, ox, rabbit.

"Forbidden Art: Demon's Sacrifice." You said. Your hands started to glow a translucent red.

"Ready?" You said. They all got into position with Temari holding Kankuro's shoulders.

"Get ready, Sakura." You said.

"Yes!" She obeyed, getting ready.

"Here goes." You said, slowly lowering your hands where his heart was. Your hands passed through his skin, and you were able to touch his heart. However, Kankuro was in immense pain, and kept twisting, turning, and moving around.

"Hold him down you weaklings!!" You shouted. This caused all of them to press harder, making him unable to move, but his head kept moving around.

"Hey! You can hear me, right Kankuro? Hang on!" You said, not completely sure he could hear you.

'I need to grasp around his heart. That'll take all of the poison out of his heart.' You thought. You gently grasped his heart, and gave it a light squeeze before slowly letting go of it, and raising your hand out of his chest. There was a purple substance trapped inside of your chakra that you emitted. You hovered your hand over an empty bowl, and let the poison drop. You repeated this process over and over, getting all of the poison out of his system. Once you were done, your hands lost their glow, and you placed a hand on the bed to balance yourself.

"I extracted most of the poison. He should be fine now. Sakura, I want you... to make an antidote. You know... more about poisons and antidotes than... me...." You said before passing out.

"Y/N!!" Multiple people called. The medical ninja hurried to you, and checked your pulse.

"She's fine. She just used all of her chakra and energy. She's exhausted, probably from that Jutsu." He explained. They all sighed with relief.

"She's really outdone herself this time." Temari said.

'Y/n has gotten so much stronger in the years I haven't seen her. She's amazing.' Naruto thought.

"Take her somewhere she'll rest in peace." Temari ordered.

'God, I'm not dead Temari.' You thought from inside with Cer and Loki.

"Yes!" They all said before carefully lifting you, and carrying you out of the infirmary.

Dream/Flashback~

A nine year old red head with heterochromatic eyes was walking down the very sandy and stony path of Sunagakure. She passed many different shops and whatnot that didn't really catch her eye.

Why is she here, you ask?

Well, the Hokage suggested that she leave the village only for a little, to get past what happened in Suna's neighboring village, Konohagakure.

Once she was out of the busy streets, she came across a park. In the middle, was a young red-haired boy like her, and sea green eyes that to her, looked like pearls. He was alone, which confused her, until a ball rolled to his feet. He slowly picked it up, and held it out to three kids who were playing with it and had ran after it.

"H-here's your ball." He said meekly. The three kids' expression turned from joy to disgust and fear.

"I-it's Gaara!"

"Run away! Or else he'll kill you!"

"Stay away you monster!!" They all yelled before running away, leaving him alone. You tilted your head and slowly walked up to him.

"Hello?" You said quietly. His gaze slowly met yours before he looked back down at the ground.

"Did you want to play?" You asked again, hoping to get his full attention. Shock was evident on his face as his head turned towards you again.

"You mean... you would play with someone like me?" He asked quietly, almost not wanting to hear the answer.

"Of course I would! Why wouldn't I?" You asked.

Damn, you were dense...

'Shut up Cerberus! I was nine! Now sit the fuck down and enjoy this flashback!'

Sorry...

"B-because I'm a monster..." He replied sadly, looking back towards the ground again. You zipped in front of him and firmly placed your hands on his shoulders. He tensed from the sudden action.

"You're not a monster. You only think that because you were raised to believe that." You said sternly.

"Y-you don't think I'm a monster?" He asked, locking eyes with you once more.

"Of course I don't!" You said while smiling, showing off your now pointed canines. His eyes widened as shock replaced sadness.

"Your teeth!" He exclaimed. You giggled.

"I know!" You replied.

"Besides, if anyone still believes we're monsters, then... we can be monsters together. So we're not lonely anymore." You said. He nodded.

"Besides! I wouldn't want a fellow red-headed partner to get hurt!" You added happily. A small smile adorned his face.

"I'm Y/n! Nice to meet you!" You said, holding out your hand. He looked at your hand hesitantly, before placing his smol hand in yours.

"I'm Gaara..." He said.

"It's great to meet you! You and I...

... we'll be best friends!!!"  You said happily.

"Best friends...?" He muttered. You nodded, grasping his hands in yours.

"Yeah! From now on, we'll be the red-headed duo!" You claimed. He smiled widely before nodding.

"Yeah!!"

'Yeah... I remember that... best friends... red headed duo, huh?' Is what Gaara thought before he was engulfed in a blinding white light.
