You were in your house, eating your life away like usual, when Cerberus told you to go to the hospital.

'Why?'

Go!! Naruto and Sasuke are fighting!!!

'WHAT?!'

You immediately dropped your water and ninja jumped towards the hospital.

'Why are they fighting?!?!'

It's Sasuke!! He started it! His Sharingan is flashing, you need to get there, NOW!

'I know, I know!!!'

You kept jumping until you were in front of the hospital.

'I sense them. On the roof!' You thought while jumping onto each window sill. When you got to the roof, you saw clones of Naruto and Sasuke in the middle.

'WHAT ARE THOSE IDIOTS DOING?!?!' You thought while yanking your hair. You decided to wait until it got too heated. Sasuke unleashed a fireball jutsu and destroyed all of the clones. Sasuke summoned his Chidori, and Naruto summoned his Rasengan.

Y/N!!! MOVE NOW!!! IF THEY HIT EACH OTHER, IT'LL BE ENOUGH TO KILL THEM!!!  GO NOW!!!'

Your instincts took over and you jumped in between them while grabbing their wrists and spinning them into the two water towers.

"WHAT are you two idiots doing?!?!" You called out beyond pissed. Not because they were battling,

You couldn't care less about that.

It's because they disrupted your food session.

Kakashi then appeared and looked around.

"Y/n, what happened?" He asked.

"Naruto and Sasuke were battling. I took care of it though, go and comfort Sakura." You replied while jumping ontop of Sasuke's water tower. Well, empty water tower. He didn't notice you and looked over at Naruto. His hand covered only a small hole where water was slowly leaking out of it. Sasuke smirked, thinking his Chidori was more powerful.

"What the fuck were you thinking, Sasuke?" You asked sternly. His body froze, before slowly staring up at you. You had a displeased and somewhat angered look on your face.

"You were meaning to kill him weren't you?" You asked while narrowing your eyes. He did the same to an ice cold glare.

"When I told you I didn't care about what decisions you make, I meant life decisions. Not deciding to battling someone ontop of a fucking hospital roof you dimwit." You explained coldly. His eyebrows furrowed before he scowled at you. He said nothing and jumped off of the roof. You proceeded to stare at him while he slammed his fist against the wall and muttered curse words. And you knew exactly why.

Because the other end of Naruto's water tower was obliterated.

Wait, then how did the water stream out of the little hole then?

You sighed before running your hand through your hair.

That was close. Had anything gone wrong they would've killed each other.

'I was nervous at first, but I felt Kakashi's presence.'

Hime, what's your relationship with Sasuke?

'...'

'Sasuke is a brother to me. I don't really know what I am to him... at least not anymore...'

The time is near. He'll be going to Orochimaru sooner than later.

'I know. Sasuke is strong enough to defend himself, but I don't trust him with that pedo...'

I can see the potential in him. He'll grow stronger.

Hopefully Naruto will match his strength in years time.

'He will, I believe he will—"

You abruptly stopped and sniffed the air a little.

What's wrong?

'Four people entered the village. One on top of the Hokage mountain, one at Sasuke's house, once near the academy, and the last one is in the middle of the village.'

"Blood clones." You muttered. Four clones made of blood appeared. You stood up and looked at them.

"Find those four presences, do not engage unless they see you first and attack." You ordered. They nodded before scattering. You look down towards Sakura and see her tear streaked face.

'I thought Kakashi was with her.' You thought. You jumped down in front of her and removed her hands from her face making her look at you, confused.

"Hey, it's okay, Sakura. Sasuke's alright, there's nothing to worry about." You said softly. She nodded while wiping her tears away. After a moment your clones returned and disappeared, transferring the information to you.

'Orochimaru sent them to collect Sasuke. Three males, one female... well, four males if you include the dude with two heads...' You thought while sweatdropping.

It was night, and you were walking down a stone path when you see Sakura unconscious on the stone bench and Sasuke walking away with a backpack on his back.

"I knew you would do something like this." You called, making him stop.

"You're going there. To him. I have no doubt you are." You added.

"Of course. He's the only one that can help me acquire the strength I need to kill Itachi." He replied.

"It's funny." You started. You're having a bitter-sweet moment with a childhood friend, go with it.

"When we were younger and naïve about the world. You and I were close, like brother and sister. Now, I don't really know what I am to you anymore." You said was while smiling sadly.

"It's almost as if everyone I love and care about suddenly goes away and doesn't return." You muttered. He said nothing and kept his back turned towards you.

"You—" He started which drew your attention. He slowly turned around and looked at you, with almost a soft gaze.

"— are the only one I can tolerate." He finished while turning back around and walking away.

"Then I'll talk to you, when I see you again, Sasuke." You said while turning around and walking in the opposite direction while a single tear ran down your face. Sasuke turned towards you and watched your retreating form with almost regret in his eyes. He shook it off and continued walking.

He's gone huh?

The leaf's probably going to have to do a search party.

'It won't be easy to get him back from the Sound Four. But, I almost don't want to...'

Ehhh? What are you talking about?!

'Sasuke's been lied to his whole life. No one but the elders, Itachi, and I know why. He needs to do this to learn the truth. It's what Itachi wants...'

'My best friend left the village. I have a right to be.'

You walked into your house, and immediately went up to your bedroom and crashed onto your bed while falling asleep.

'I just hope Sasuke's going to be alright.' You thought before sleep consumed you.
