Chapter 11: Romeo
"Just remember, you better enjoy this while it lasts!" Juliette said in her typical 'I'm better than you,' tone. "You won't be getting much of this once my career kicks off! I'll be getting all the hot guys from Hollywood, without having to settle for mere executives like you." She added while Dhruv clenched his fists in frustration. "The only career she'll be getting is at a brothel." He murmured to himself as he stormed out of her room.
He had enough of Juliette.
A mere executive. She dared fucking call him that after all the work he did to get to where he was. He would not stand for this. She thought she was better than Dhruv just because Adrienne Chausse married her father. As if that mattered. The poor bastard died soon after, anyway. That arrogant little bitch would end up rotting in this place. He stormed down the stairs and re-entered the party while he finished buttoning up his shirt.
A few minutes later, Juliette was running down the same stairs, about to go to the party when she felt a firm grip on her arm. She tried to scream but something muffled it into a mere sigh, and then everything went black.

On the other side of the building, Hanna was zipping her dress up, smiling to herself when she heard a loud crash. She turned around in an instant, gun already in her hand, pointing it at the place where the sound came from. She lowered the gun a moment later. All she saw was Ricky Black running down the street, leaving a man-sized hole in the window. Shards of glass were lying all over the ground, and the man was sprinting away at an unnatural speed. "Vat a crasy bastard." She mumbled to herself as she followed behind, almost breaking her legs in the process, trying to figure out what the fuck has gotten the man so riled up.
She couldn't be that bad in bed, right? She's had many weird experiences, but no man ever jumped through the window right after sex. She sprinted after him, grateful she wore flats instead of heels, her long dress piled up in her hands so it wouldn't get in the way and she finally noticed what he was trying to do. Up ahead, she could see three figures. A tall white-haired man with a heavily tattooed face along with a shorter redhead was in the midst of throwing the body of a blonde woman into the back of their car. The woman's eyes were closed, showing no expression. Something clicked in Hanna's mind. Juliette.
Ricky was catching up to the car, but just when he was getting close, his body fell to the ground and the car drove off, turning right at a junction. Hanna caught up to him and realised what had happened. There was a disturbing amount of blood seeping from his right arm. What a pathetic shot, it's like they didn't even fucking try to kill him. Hanna shook her head at the thought. People shouldn't be allowed to hold a gun unless they know how to use it. They only end up bringing shame to people like her. Hanna swiftly ripped off a part of the tulle from the bottom of her dress, which suddenly felt so unnecessary and annoying. This is the reason she rarely wore these things.
She wrapped the piece of fabric around Ricky's arm as tightly as she could, making sure the blood won't keep flowing out.
"Get zee hell up, Ricky!" she screamed, hitting him across his face. "It's not zee time for a fucking nap!" She started pulling him up and once Ricky stopped swearing and grumbling, he seemed to remember what he was supposed to be doing. Hanna pointed towards an alley, "Run through zere, if mein instinct is right, you should be able to catch up to zem" She shouted, then ran the other way herself. She kept running until she got to her motorbike. It was pure luck that she was so close to the place she usually parked it. She hopped on and drove off in the direction the car went.
Hanna drove through the empty city, smiling as she felt the wind in her hair. Her hairstyle was already ruined, and she loved it. The look she went for was not there at all. She was catching up to the men, at least she hoped it was them. She squeezed the gas pedal as far as it would and started making steady progress, but suddenly the front wheel of her bike popped and she fell off. Two somersaults later, she was lying face down on the road, looking after the car. Out of all the times, this could have happened.
Her mind was fuzzy, and she could feel herself slowly losing consciousness. Just when she was about to lose hope, she saw a figure jump out onto the bonnet of the car. The figure broke the windshield, shattering glass all over the road, throwing the man driving the car out onto the road. Her vision started fading more, but not before she realised who the madman was. Fucking Ricky. "Vell done, you crazy zon of a bitch" she whispered, and she went out like a light.¨
