Controversial Party at Carmon's Place

Why the hell did I choose to do this at our house?

As much as I love everybody, everything happens at our house. We always volunteer our house like it's a place for events. Even though Trent has another house on the other side of town, this is the family house. Spending time with my family in it is important to me.

Daisy's party was here a while ago and everything was beautiful. She was prettier than all of the Disney princesses. Also, the most talented. How she learned how to swim in that big ball gown her mother bought her is beyond me. She just jumped into the water and became adventurous. Troy tried to take her out of the water but she was not wanting his help.

Like I said, the child is as adventurous as Raina when she was that age. Raina's still adventurous, however, she's growing older and she wants to spend time with her friends now. She's daring with her friends now more than she is with me.

Can't help but feel guilty for not being there more than I was when she was younger. Rena always had her and, once she was with me, it seemed like she was too old to hang out with her mom.

Am I getting too old? Is this marriage taking my youth or something? I'm only 28 years old but it feels like I'm in my 60s.

Anyhow, we also had Quinn's birthday here, Jana camped out here for a while, we've done Tiff's bachelorette party here, we've even had Nikki's dog party here-

"Someone's a bit...tense."

A low voice whispered in my ear before laying sweet kisses all over my neck to make me feel better. Large, veiny hands trailing down my arms and peeking under my shirt until I stopped them.

Someone's ready to serve the pipe at the wrong time.

Trent just came home from the office after telling me to take the day off this morning. You'd think that would be fine with me as it's a free day from tons of paperwork and boring business meetings.

That's a whole lie. It pissed me off. How can people take me seriously if I'm hardly working?

Trent sends me home early every time I finish paperwork and organizing our business partners' files. Every time I'm finished communicating with potential business partners, scheduling meetings for him, taking notes during business meetings, and giving him the business under his desk from time to time, he sends me home early.

Basically, doing the same job duties I was assigned to do as a receptionist five years ago. But the title is what it's all about, right? Being married to the CEO of the place and being his COO. How wonderful is that, right?

Wrong. I'm supposed to be second in command and being treated like the many secretaries that he's had before me.

Oh, and let's talk about why he doesn't let me attend anymore meetings with him. Apparently, I take away everyone's attention from him and the rest of his businessmen say my clothing is 'distracting' and needs to be changed. The last client I was able to sit in with kept watching some other things instead of listening to Trent's presentation. That's probably why he agreed to the deal so quickly.

Anyway, Trent listened to them, considered what they said, and now sends me home early.

I can't show my true potential if it keeps being covered with excuses. One time, it was because 'women don't belong in the corporate world, especially women like me'. Those were Justin's words that came from a private meeting that I eavesdropped on weeks back.

What happens when Trent leaves for business trips? Justin's in charge of everything while I'm stuck listening to his toxic masculinist words and the rest of the men agreeing with him. Let me combat his ideas and Trent tells me to chill. Let me disagree with his ideas during meetings and Trent tells me to listen for a second.

I don't know what kind of women Trent's had in the past but my sexuality is not everything I am. There's so much more that comes with me and I know Trent didn't marry me just to fuck me. I bet you I can turn Trent's low percentages upside down in the matter of a week. Because what Justin is doing will get him up 1% in the matter of a year if that.

"Trent, it's not a good time to be-"

Hushing me up with his lips touching mine, he moved in front of me just to slide his hands up the skirt I wore for about three hours at work today. As soon as I got home, my ass sat down at the kitchen table while wondering what the hell I was doing wrong at my new career.

Although he's a good kisser, this is not taking me away from the irritation that's built in my heart.

"You're wearing underwear. This means you're pissed at me. What I do now?"

He leaned over while placing his hands on the arms of the chair, looking into my eyes with seriousness in his baby blues. The tightening of his lips let me know he was irritated as well.

"Why don't you ask your friends at the office for some advice on how to make me feel better? Since they gave you the idea to send me home early lately."

Furrowing his eyebrows and searching for the answer in my eyes, he continues with "This is about sending you home early. Look, Carmon-"

"No, Trent. My body is not my job. What I wear should not take away from what I can really do. How can I be taken seriously if you don't even give me a chance? I'm confident in my ways of changing the direction of how your sales are looking. You trust these men so much that you don't even listen to what I have to say."

"Carmon, I just want you to take it easy because-"

"Because I'm your wife? Because I'm a woman? You just don't trust me at all and that's not fair. Tell you what. I'll take my potential to someone else and-"

A kiss to the lips stopped my speech. Lips instantly moving in sync with each other and his hands softly in motion against my thighs.

"It's not because you're a woman. Honestly, I did consider the guys' advice. However, in my opinion, I just don't think people are ready for what you're bringing to the table. You don't think I took a few peeks in your planner while you were at lunch a few days ago?"

A quick grin spread across my face copying the look on his face. That sexy ass smirk that turns me on every time.

"I know how much potential you have and the guys can't handle everything you have planned. My dad couldn't even take in everything you've got in that big brain of yours. Just want you to come out with it at the right time. This time just isn't it. I just know that opportunity is popping up soon. I promise."

Folding my arms, I rolled my eyes and let out a long sigh internally. This put me at ease just a little but it didn't tell me why he was sending me home so early lately. His next words caught my attention as he turned my head to look at him again.

"I'll make sure these horny employees don't keep eyeing my wife like an available live sex doll though. It's my job to make the work place run as effectively as it can but it's also my job to protect my wife. Let Justin try to talk to you crazy again and my fists will do the talking instead. They'll hear my mouth tomorrow morning before you get there and I'll need you for the whole day anyhow."

And there he goes again. Coming in with the just the right words to say to me when I'm in one of my moods. The good thing about Trent is that he lives up to what he says. That's what made me fall in love and trust him more.

Smiling at his words, my eyes moved with him as he dipped down towards my entrance before saying "Is there any other reasons why you have on your panties?"

While trying to answer his question, his tongue moved them aside and swiped against my drenched, freshly-shaven center like a damn credit card.

"Because...oh, because...fuck, Trent! You expect me to say anything while you're doing this shit?" my lips moaned as his smooth tongue did tricks around my sweet spot.

Damn this man. Sexy, smart, and compassionate. Though he has his faults and doesn't deny them, he surely knows how to learn from them and drill me back into his love every time. You can take that both ways.

My fingers ran through his golden locks and squeezed every time he sucked on the lips. I couldn't even get anything out with him taking amazing care of me in the lower region. My moans grew louder until the doorbell rang, ending my journey to a quick climax.

See what I mean? Everyone comes to our house at the right times.

"We have guests...again?" Trent stood up from the floor and wiped his face with a towel before fixing his tie and making intense eye contact with me again.

Damn, he looked sexy as hell. Maybe they can watch us as we fuck on the table.

"That's another thing I was trying to tell you before you decided that my core would be your dinner for the evening. Some of the girls are coming over." I sighed while fixing myself up in the chair and studying Trent's unbelievable look. Damn, even that looks sexy.

"And by some of the girls, you mean..."

"Tiff, Rena, and Jana. We have to talk to Jana because I didn't get a chance to call her back a while ago, babe. She has questions."

Sighing at my words, he bit on his lip and walked over towards the front door in a sexually frustrated mood. Even his walk was amazing. He just strode across the living room floor like the boss he is. The confidence in every step had taken me out of my stressed thoughts.

And the way he looks in suits makes me want to get naked for him every time he wears one. He doesn't wear one all the time. He's pretty business casual with his outfits.

Thank goodness I'm married to this man.

My eyes fell on all three ladies walking in with blank faces on. Oh hell. Something had to have happened between Jana's Facetime call with me and now. Not one of them were smiling or anything.

"You act like you can't answer the door for us. You don't think we're tired after a long day, too? Have us standing outside for so long like we're strangers." Tiff complained as they all walked into the kitchen and sat at the table to me.

"Tiff, don't make me nail your ass into humbleness. Chill out. You got your own house and man now. You should be happy and nicer to me." Trent rolled his eyes and clapped back before going upstairs.

Tiff's snarl grew over her face as she watched him going upstairs. What else could she really say to my funny man?

"Carmon, I'm tired as hell," Rena came out with as they made themselves comfortable at the kitchen table and sighed. That could be another reason why they came in looking the way they did.

Tiffany scoffed with "Girl, please. Try working in a whole fashion empire where almost everyone hates you and treats you like shit. You work with kids that love you. Be grateful."

"Tiff, we've been trying to tell you to branch off on your own but you won't. You choose to settle with that fashion empire that treats you like shit." I came out with.

One thing about Tiffany that we all still hate is her stubbornness. She still thinks that her way is the best way and will do any and everything to prove that she's right. That never stayed at the apartment.

"How can I, Carmon? When they pay me enough to pick myself up off the ground, I'll try. Until then, this is my best." She could do so much better though. Especially on that blonde dye.

If you thought she was naturally blonde, you have to be mistaken. She was born with the same color hair as me until she was introduced to dye at 12 years old. That brunette was peeking from her roots.

"Are we playing whose job's the worst or are we going to get to the matter at hand? What are we here for again?" Jana spoke out as her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Frustration as if she were working overtime in the thinking department.

She was right. Back to the subject.

"We're here to talk about those tattoos. Remember, you asked Carmon about them over the phone?" Rena reminded her as Jana's evergreen eyes looked at me with sincere confusion.

She didn't even remember the conversation we had? This is going to be a lot more work than I thought. Facepalming, I grew a bit aggravated thinking about it all.

Why did Jess have to shoot her? Why couldn't she just beat her ass like she did to her co-worker that one day? Why didn't she just slap her like that one evening? Ooh, then again, that's a bad idea. She slapped Jana pretty hard that night.

"Since you guys will be here for a minute, I figured ordering in for everybody would be the best idea. Especially for the tired lady here that draws clothes for a living and talks shit for free." Trent's sexy voice echoed into my ear as he came down in his most relaxed state.

Gray t-shirt that stretched over his rippling chest and his Bugs Bunny pajama pants. He loves Looney Toons and is raising Candy on that and Tom & Jerry. All the older cartoons.

Just seeing him in his most comfortable state really turns me on. When he's either in his suit or his giraffe onesie, a thunderstorm starts down below.

Biting my lip at his sexy stature, my recent screaming for him not to stop sending me to pound town replayed in my mind. Sent shivers down my body and-

"Carmon! Snap out of it!" Rena called me out, realizing I was in the middle of a hot fantasy.

Pulling my hand out from my skirt, I wiped my fingers off on the same towel Trent used earlier while Jana started the conversation.

"So, we're talking tattoos, right? Well, I have many but this big dolphin one is the one that confuses me the most. That and the cupcake. Do I have an obsession for dolphins and cupcakes or something or what?"

Tiff, Rena, and I looked at each other with worry on our faces before Tiff said "You don't remember calling Jess 'Cupcake' at all, Jana? Dolphins are her favorite animal. That's why you got the two tattoos. Jana, Jess is still your wife-"

"And that's what the therapist told me. Do you think I'll believe you if I didn't believe her? You really think I'd get married?"

Sighing at Jana negating Tiff's words, I came out with "Jana, that's why I asked if Kathryn or Lisa were around you then. They wouldn't let us around you unless we promised to stop talking to you about her. We had to sign an agreement saying so. Luckily, they aren't around now but Tiff's right. Jess is still your wife but you just can't see her after the shooting."

Her face changed into a shocked look as Rena continued with the conversation. "They send her an Instagram live video of you kissing all over Katheryn that night. Why? I have no idea but it all seems like a setup to me. Like why would you record a party of drunk people kissing and send it to their wife if there was no ill intent? Something's up here."

Jana's eyes widened in surprise as Tiffany added "Probably to show Jess that you can't turn a hoe into a housewife. Jana was having fun like she used to and fucked up like she used to. She never changed."

Another thing that Tiff never kept at the old apartment. Bringing up everyone's pasts to make a point and prove herself right.

Once Jana got married, she was serious about Jess. Her language changed, her flirty personality faded away, and Jess was all she could talk about when we went out to bars. Jana may have fucked up but it couldn't have been because she wanted to.

Plus, she never liked Kathryn being all over her. She didn't like her at all. It pissed her off to say the least. Basically, I'm saying that I agree with Rena. Something else is going on and her band mates are behind it.

"So, it was my fault. I ruined my marriage? How the hell did I get married in the first place?" Jana asked as her eyes filled with tears and bit down on her bottom lip in guilt. Shit, not again.

"Hate to say it, but-"

"Shut the hell up Tiff. Jana didn't want to even go but Lisa still made her. She called me and ranted to me about missing her anniversary. She wanted to be with Jess that evening but lose her spot in the band if she didn't go," I argued back while Rena hugged Jana and let her cry in her shoulder. Rena acting as caregiver again. This is why she's the driver when we all go out.

"Jana, this isn't your fault. We don't think it was anyway. That's what we're still here for. To get you back where you belong, girly."

As Rena said that, Trent answered the door and Kathryn marched inside to find Jana crying in Rena's shoulder. Rolling her forest green eyes, she folded her arms to say "I figured I'd find her here. Hopefully, you all were talking about our upcoming tour out of the country soon. Babe, why are you crying?"

She pushed Rena to the side just to place her wrinkled fingers on Jana's cheeks and look in her eyes. The rest of us groaned at the same time as she studied Jana's look.

While Jana was about to open her mouth, Trent interrupted her with "She was crying because she tried our new hot sauce. Wanna try some, Kat?"

He came in with his new bottle of ghost pepper hot sauce. I love this man with everything I have. Came in to save the day before Jana could say anything. All four of us chuckled at my lover's sauce but it makes him even more fine.

"Uh...no thanks. I just came to get Jana so we could get to practice for this upcoming tour. Nice to see you all had a great time, but-"

"When is the band supposed to leave?" Tiff asked with a questionable look on her face. That was a good question to ask so we knew how much time we had left to get Jana back to the way she was. Tiff probably sees the suspicious behavior now.

"In about two weeks, Tiff. My girl and I will be gone for a whole month. Just us and our music."

Oh shit! We only had two weeks to get Jana back to herself?! This was going to be a terrible ride.
