Jessica
What's up folks?! Tiffany thinks she's got it going on, huh? Well, probably not. But I'm glad y'all got to see her after a rude reality check.
Anyway, how do you think the charity ball is going to go for Tiff and Bryce? Do you think she'll eventually be with him?
Why do you think she's so jealous of Jessica and Jana? Doesn't she have all that she really wanted?
What about that Megan girl? Ugh, she's a super hater, right?
Well, we are back with another chapter for Screw Me Over! It's Jessica's turn to rip somebody apart...or maybe not! 😌
Anyway, please see the triggers that are in the summary of this story.
Alright, y'all! That's all I have! You may continue! 💜🤫
****
It was Christmas Eve night and I couldn't sleep to save my life. Jana's loud ass snoring kept me up, but I couldn't wake her up. If anything, I'd rather hear her snoring her ass off then her holding her knees up to her chest in the bed with her eyes widened in fear. That motherfucker better hope and pray he doesn't step foot around us because I'll bust my fist in his face. That damn Heath bastard had my vanilla drop scared for months after that.
Anyway, wasn't this supposed to be the night where I slept so Santa could come? Well, he'd probably leave me a few bags of coal underneath the tree with my name placed on them in bold and capital letters. With all of the fighting and cussing I've done this year, I've been terrible.
But I don't give two shits.
I want to say that people make me this way. This is all I've ever really known. This is my life. I have to be quick to anger and slow to calm down in order to protect my loved ones. Not just them, but myself too.
People say my personality is too much to deal with and I act out a lot. You know what I say to that?
"Good".
Maybe people will leave me the hell alone.
Now, where was I going with this?
Oh yeah. I couldn't sleep and didn't care about no damn gifts from Santa. He'd be lucky if he stepped foot in here and figured out we were all good. With everything that's happened and everything we've done; we were all on the naughty list and are all bad in Santa's eyes.
You know what we need? We need an adult Santa Claus. Yeah, I know he's already an adult, but that guy is for the kids. A nice sexy Santa with a couple of muscles and abs here and there wouldn't hurt. A Santa that looks sexy naked with a large dick, who's willing to pay our bills for a whole year, give us money, take care of our kids, and such. Is that asking for too much? If anyone needs a Santa, it's the adults.
Anyway, I got out of the bed and walked into the living room to find me something that would put me back to sleep. My eyes fell over the perfect thing. A small human was climbing up towards the kitchen island reaching for the decorated cookies that sat on a plate. Her little gray eyes were set on those little cookies that her and Rena made a few hours ago.
Once she licked her tiny lips and pushed herself higher to reach the cookie plate, I immediately asked "Aren't you supposed to be asleep?"
She turned her head to me with her eyes widened and fell to the floor. I couldn't help but laugh because she was just too adorable. Walking over to the shaken child, I picked her up and helped her into one of the tall kitchen chairs.
"Auntie Jess, you scared me. I just wanted a cookie because I'm sad. I can't sleep," she said as she lowered her head in sadness.
Something was keeping us awake and forcing ourselves to sleep wasn't an option for us. Looking at her, my heart felt sad a bit. She looked really upset. Usually, she's knocked out by now.
Passing a decorated cookie to her, I asked, "Well, talk to me. What's on your mind, kiddo?"
As I walked around to make some warm milk, I hear her say "Please don't tell Mommy, Auntie Jess. You promise?"
My eyes quickly turned to a hurt-looking Loraina as she put her pinky up in the air. What was really going on with this child? What did Carmon do?
"I promise with all my heart, Raina. Now, what's going on?" I asked as my pinky wrapped around her small pinky.
She looked back down and said "Well...I'm scared of Daddy. I had a bad dream about him and now I can't sleep. Is he coming back here? Mommy said he was in jail, but what if he runs away? She wants me to like him. I don't like him, Auntie Jess. I'm scared."
Tears were falling from this poor child's eyes as she freaked out about her own father. My heart broke for this innocent little girl. This girl was having bad dreams about this guy. She was scared of the man that made her.
I couldn't help but look frustrated. What kind of man wants his own child to be scared of him? Maybe it was a good thing that I never knew my father. That's one thing that I would never want to witness and this blameless child didn't deserve what she was going through.
Her mom wasn't making things easier with her obsession with him. This little girl can't even talk to her own mother about how she feels because she's afraid that her mom will get upset with her. It was sad. She was scarred for life.
Grabbing the warm milk from the microwave, I sat down beside her again and let her cry in my chest. Wrapping my arms tightly around this poor child, I said "Loraina, I promise you with every fiber of my being that he will not come back here anymore. If he even thought about coming here, I'll sock him in the face with one hit and knock him out. Auntie Jess has your back."
She sat up from my hold and wiped her face to say "What about Mommy? Who will save Mommy? He may hurt her like in my dream."
Her glistening grey eyes turned to me as my heart sank with every sob of hers. "Your aunties will save both of you. Raina, you are protected in all areas of your life by so many friends. He couldn't get to you even if he tried. We love you two way too much to see you both get hurt. If anyone even dares lay a finger on you guys, they'll wish they hadn't. They'll be in the hospital before they even think about it. Do you hear me?"
She smiled a little and nodded her head while finally biting into her cookie. She took a sip of her warm milk and scoot her chair closer to me while saying "So if they lay a cookie on me, will they wish they hadn't?"
Chuckling to myself a little, I said, "You better believe it. It'll be eaten up just like these."
She looked at the empty plate and widened her eyes while saying "Auntie Jess, what cookies will Santa eat?!" Her little face looked so surprised about the cookies being eaten up. It was precious.
"Don't worry about that. Your mom has that covered," I winked as I helped her down from the kitchen chair not thinking about Raina catching on or asking questions.
She, still looking confused, said "What cookies is Mommy making for him?"
My eyes widened at the question as I took the dishes and washed it after we finished our midnight snack. "Uh...chocolate chip!" I said randomly.
"Noooooooo! Santa likes oatmeal raisin cookies. That's what he said at school," Raina said as I finished up in the kitchen.
"Well, your mom will make him some of those once you go to sleep," I said as I tapped on her little nose and walked towards my room thinking that Raina was going back to her room. Apparently, an auntie's job is never done.
"Auntie Jess, can you sleep with me? I'm still scared," she said in a sad tone and stopped me from walking into the room. Sighing to myself, I turned around to find a puppy dog faced Raina looking at me. Although she's the cutest kid, she's also the most annoying.
"I have to go to bed with-"
"PLEASE! We can sleep on the couch and wait for Santa! I don't want to go sleep with Mommy," she said with a sad look on her face. Sighing to myself, I came to the realization that she finally broke me. I had to stay with her.
"Fine, but you have to go to sleep. We can't stay up all night," I said as she jumped up and down in happiness.
Sitting on the couch, my arms opened for her to jump into my lap. She laid her head in my lap and my hand landed on her head, rubbing it to help her sleep.
"Buenas noches, mi dulce sobrina," I whispered as she got comfortable on the couch.
After about 10 minutes of my eyes being closed, I hear a loud snore coming from a small body. No wonder Carmon couldn't sleep. I thought Jana was bad. Raina was officially knocked out. Once her snoring ceased, I finally drifted off to sleep.
We both slept for about 5 hours and woke up to some giggling women that surrounded us. My eyes opened to Carmon, Jana, Rena, and Tiffany watching us sleep.
"So, you got another girl taking my place already? Jess, how dare you?" Jana joked as a smirk came over my face.
Loraina hopped out of my lap and shouted "MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!"
She jumped into the pool of presents that sat under the tree and just swam throughout all of them. It was the most adorable thing I had seen in a while.
What made me curious was the fact that there was so many presents all of the sudden. If my memory serves me right, there were no gifts under the tree last night. Now, there's a plethora of presents flooding the living room floor. It was a sight to see. The rest of the ladies probably put out everyone's presents while we were asleep.
Standing up from the couch, I wrapped my arms around my lovely mujer bella in full happiness. My head rested on her chest as she ran her fingers through my hair and gave me multiple kisses on my head. My eyes watched as Raina continued swimming through all of the presents. It was just a cute moment. To be honest, it made my ovaries jump a little.
"Raina! Stop it! You're ruining the presents! They're not all yours, you know!" Tiffany said as trying to stop our excited six-year-old niece. Carmon had to pull her from the gifts and hold her in her lap.
As Jana sat on the floor against one of our couches, she patted on the floor space between her legs. A smile came over my face and I sat down that space while Rena passed out presents. She passed out a large sized gold box to me and a green small box to Jana. The box she had looked as if there was a ring in it and I grew nervous about it.
"MOMMY!!!!! I GOT A CAR!!!!" Raina shouted excitingly as she jumped out from behind her Minnie Mouse Jeep Wrangler. It was a child-like ride-on car and Carmon's eyes shot open in surprise as if she had just seen a ghost. There's no telling who got that for her.
"Carmon, where the hell did this come from?! Rena, did you get this for her?" Tiffany asked in shock.
In a way, I was a little curious as well. How did Carmon or Rena afford that? Where was she going to drive it at because we live in a box of an apartment?
"Fuck. My boss probably got it for her," Carmon said as she facepalmed.
"Watch your language, Carmon," Rena reminded as she kept passing out presents to everyone. Carmon shrugged off Rena's reminder and continued watching Raina jump around her new car.
"NO MOMMY! It was Santa! He knew just what I wanted! Mommy, thank you for making his favorite cookies," Raina said as her joyful gray eyes watched the car. She was so thrilled to have a new car that she just studied that for the rest of the time.
"I made cookies? What cookies did I-"
"Alright! That's enough. Just let the girl be happy about her car," I ended trying to stop Carmon from spilling the beans about my statement last night. Hell, she probably gave him more than her cookies. Probably gave him her milk as well.
"Open yours, babe," Jana whispered as my eyes turned back to my golden gift. Ripping the wrapping paper and throwing it behind me so fast, my heart was beating faster. The ladies' eyes were all on me as I finished opening my gift.
"Jay...what the hell is this?!" I shouted in amazement. The box contained a 101-piece deluxe easel art set that I've had my eyes on for the longest item. How Jana found out about what I wanted? I will never know.
"There's a quote by an author named Dez Del Rio that says 'When you stop chasing your dreams, your dreams start chasing you'. When you started painting again, that was it. Your dreams coming back to chase you. I knew that's what you were meant to do. Your dreams are coming back so you can achieve them. Go for them. Do what you really want to do. This is where your true happiness lies. That's why I bought it. Merry Christmas, mi amor," Jana finished as she placed her hand under my chin and turning my head up to her.
Revealing the few tears coming from my eyes, she kissed them all away and my heart rested in pure delight.
"I love you, Jay," I said as we shared a passionate kiss. She may have been a pain in my ass this year, but when she's really in love, she loves this hard if not harder. That's all that I really wanted for Christmas. She's something that I just couldn't bare to lose. She's truly a treasure meant for only one person.
"Aww!" the other ladies cried collectively as Jana and I touched noses. Biting my lip to hide my seeping smile, I turned back around and watched everyone else open their presents.
Tiffany got some designer clothes and a new phone. Expected for Tiffany, but we didn't know who bought them for her. Rena said that they were just sitting by our door this morning and she picked them up.
Rena got some romance books and clothes. She also got a silver bracelet with a rainbow charm on it. I knew exactly who bought that bracelet, but couldn't tell Rena. We went shopping for it while job hunting one day. Even though he's dating someone else, he really cares about Rena. More than we all know, but Rena won't date him after their last time of dating.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Carmon squealed as she lifted up a cruise voucher for this upcoming summer. How the hell did she get that?!
"Wow. You must have given your boss the good good, Carmon," Tiffany teased and chuckled.
"I never asked for this. Oh, my goodness," Carmon said as she opened another box with expensive jewelry in it. She also got a new computer, some beautiful cocktail dresses, mini dresses, and five pairs of shoes. Most of her things were purple. Yeah, this boss guy was totally smitten with her.
"Auntie Jay, open your gift!" Raina pleaded as she held one of her opened gifts in her hand. Jana looked back at the small box and held it in her hand. We had forgotten all about Jana's presents. This one was the only one she really wanted to open.
Changing my position to kneel in front of her, my nails dug deep into my thighs. My palms grew sweaty. This was something that was never done before so I felt pretty doubtful of myself.
Once she opened the box, her eyes and mouth widened. My heart fell as she looked at the gift in shock. Oh shit.
"Well, what is it?" Tiff asked.
Jana reached into the box and pulled out a guitar pick painted with a message on it. The message was what shocked her. Rena was recording the whole moment as my eyes watched Jana in nervousness.
"Look, I figured I'd get you something you'd actually keep up with and care for instead of a ring. I love you more than words can express and this is something that you can use forever and hold on to. Hopefully, like me. So, what do you say?" my lips opened while feeling so anxious that I had to close my eyes to calm myself down.
"Jay, she's asking you to marry her. How sweet. What are you going to say?" Carmon said revealing the obvious in excitement.
My right eye peeked through my eyelids and Jana looked at me with a scared look on her face. She breathed deeply and came out of her shocked state while looking at the pick with concern.
"Jess, you're gonna have to get back with me on this. It's all sudden. I don't really know right now," Jana finally revealed.
My. Heart. Dropped.
