After a few days at Harley's place, I was starting to relax. Boy, was that a mistake.

After only three days at her place, the Justice League kicks down the door. I see Barbra. "Oh, so I go missing and you can't find me in a week, but I decide a criminal would be a better friend than you and you can find me in no time squat. Yeah, you really care."

Batman just looked at me with a bored face, then at Harley. "We aren't her for you. We're here for her." He redirected his attention to her. "Harley Quinn, you are under arrest for the murder of the Joker." He pulled out handcuffs and started walking toward her. I looked at the few members of the Justice League he had brought with him. Green Lantern, Aquaman, Superman, and Batgirl. Shouldn't be too hard.

I leaned toward Harley and whispered into her ear; "Hey, you got any power inhibitors around here?" She nodded toward a cabinet right behind us. "How many." She held up three fingers. "Perfect."

I quickly turned around and pulled open the cabinet, pulling out three collars. I handed one to Harley, "You get Aquaman, just hit Bats over the head first."

That's when I ran at Superman, both arms up, the collar around my arm not yet on. He lifted up his hands to grip mine. "I don't wanna hurt you."

"Too bad I wanna hurt you." I screamed. He let go of my hands to cover his ears and I quickly got the collar around his neck and turned on. "That was too easy." I murmured.

Superman had started to get up, so I kicked his nose. Hopefully he'd stay out cold for a while.

Next was Green Lantern.

I turned around, only to see a giant ball fly out of a slingshot.

'Please let this work. Please let this work. Please let this work.'

I screamed, and the slingshot and ball shattered. I pumped ed my fist in the air and quickly got back to business. I kept screaming. It hurt, to use my powers still, but it was worth it to protect Harley.

I could see her in my peripheral vision fighting Aquaman still. I focused back on. Lantern and saw I was close enough. I reached forward and punched him square in the jaw, with all my strength. He fell to the ground and I slapped the collar on him, turning it on as well. His suit faded away, and his ring slipped off his finger. I took no chances. I kicked the ring away to the other side of the warehouse.

Suddenly I was tackled by someone. I looked to see it was Batman. "You can't beat me Bats. I was practically trained by you. I know all your tricks and toys. That's when he lunged at me. He tackled me to the ground. I was about to scream, but he was hit over the head with a bat. I pushed him off of me, revealing the attacker to be none other than Barbra.

I got up and hugged her. "I'm by your side. Always. I love you Kensington." That's when she fell. I looked at her abdomen to see blood spreading.

"No no no. I love you Barbra. I love you so much. I can't lose you now. No." I couldn't stop gripping her. As it I thought; if I don't let go, she won't leave.

"She's gone Kenzie." I heard a gentle voice. I looked up to see Harley.

"No, please god, no." I whispered. I didn't want her to go.

It seemed like hours that I gripped to her, until I was peeled off by Harley. I didn't want to believe it. She betrayed her own for me. In the end I killed her. It was my fault. I never should have broken my one rule.

'No connection. No love.'
