Part 6: Screw your Pass!

*Gory descriptions

Woodsboro High School: A couple hours later

The call just came in. Getting word of the attack in the bathroom, Dewey immediately gets out of his car and heads inside as a news reporter talks about the mask that's been worn by almost everyone on school grounds.

In other words, it wasn't very hard for the killer to sneak around. Heck, he was probably walking around all casual, with the costume on in broad daylight.

The best Dewey can do right now, is investigate the bathroom for some kind of clue, but the killer clearly isn't stupid, this was in part of whatever plan they have. He came here for a reason, why?

Before he can theorize any more, Dewey catches someone jogging over to him. He quickly identifies her as Gale Weathers. Great, he can't handle press questions very well. Please, don't actually be trying to talk to him.

"Hi!" She waves in his direction, dang it. "Gale Weathers. Field correspondent, top story?" Dang it, out of every reporter that wants to talk, it had to be here.

"I know who you are, Miss Weathers." He informs her as he takes his shades off. "How's the eye?"? He jokes at her expense.

To her credit, Gale keeps the polite expression on as she smiles. "It's... productive." She glances towards the school, taking notice of his path. "Is there a problem on campus?"

"No, everything's under control." He states in his best professional voice.

"Well of course, you're here." Gale flirts. Great, wonderful, that's just making it more awkward than she thinks.

"You're not supposed to be here." Dewey tries dismissing the reporter.

"I know." Gale admits with a chuckle. "I should be in New York, covering the Sharon Stone Stalker but... who knew!"

Dewey sighs. Yup, like always, the Weathers are all stubborn individuals, now he has to know how'd her parents felt. "You look awfully young to be a police officer."

The deputy looks at her offended, what's that supposed to mean? "I'm twenty-five years old." He mentions.

"You know, in a demographic study, I proved to be most popular amongst males eleven to twenty-four." Gale shares in a.... interesting tone. "I guess I just missed you."

Okay, definitely flirting. Play it cool Dewey, you can't fall for her tricks. "Course, you don't look a day over twelve." Don't know if that sounds creepy or not, but... "Except in that... upper torso area."

Goodness gracious lady! Why are you already going there!? "Does the force require you to work out?" Gale inquires.

Dewey snaps out of his thoughts to answer. "No ma'am." He responds with a smile. "Because of my boyish good looks, (which don't exist) muscle mass has increased my acceptance as a serious police officer." Nailed it.

Thankfully, deafening sound of the speaker coming on interrupts the conversation. "I need your attention now kids." The principle's voice rings out. "Due to the recent events that have occurred, effective immediately, all classes are suspended until further notice."

The teens cheer and high five each other in celebration of the recent news. "The Woodsboro police apartment has issued a city-wide curfew beginning at nine-a-clock... tonight." The teens all boo.

With that announcement out of the way, Dewey takes that as his cue to leave. But much to his disappointment, Gale continues to follow him past the police blockades which are there for a reason!

"Looks like we have a serial killer on our hands." Gale comments behind him. Dewey quickly puts on a straight face as he turns to face her.

"Well, 'serial killer' is not really accurate." Dewey notes, unaware of the additional body inside. "Gotta knock off a couple more to get that title."

"Well, we can hope can we?" Gale humorously remarks. Dewey awkwardly nods, a deputy might not have been the best person to tell that joke to. "I mean, we certainly don't have any leads. Have you located Sidney's father yet?"

Dewey glances down, him being on the suspect list makes the whole situation of finding him a tiny bit weird. "Not yet..."

"Well, he's not a suspect, is he?" Gale queries. Dang, how the heck did she guess that so quickly?

"We'll we haven't ruled him out as a... possibility." Dewey delicately answers. Then he tries dismissively nodding his head again. "If you'll excuse me-"

"I'm sorry, am I keeping you?" She asks in a voice that pretends to be unaware, Dewey almost face palms. The roadblocks, and additional policemen didn't give it away?

"If I may say so Miss Weathers...." Dewey pauses before he lets the full sentence out. No, the last thing he needs to do is mention her family. Instead, he takes his hat off and gives her a charming smirk. "You are much prettier in person."

"So, you do watch the show?" Gale laughs behind him as he walks up the stairs. The deputy guiltily shrugs.

"I'm twenty-five." He remarks. "I was twenty-four for a whole year." What the heck was that line Dewey?

"Please, call me Gale!"

It was just some sick fuck having a laugh, Sidney." Tatum comfortingly suggests after hearing what happened in the women's restroom.

"No. It was him, Tatum. I know it." Sidney maintains, confident as ever. The man in the bathroom had that same hunting knife he had when he was chasing Sidney around her house, a prankster wouldn't have bothered.

"Well, you're not alone anymore, alright" Tatum then declares, noticing her best friend is feeling more unsafe by the second. "If you pee, I pee. Is that clear?"

Before Sidney can say yes, her eye catches Billy stomping past them, trying to pretend they aren't there. It makes her uncomfortable seeing him walk down the sidewalk like a machine.

Stu suddenly jumps in front of them, holding flowers he obviously picked from the ground, and hands one to each of them. "Hey, I don't know what you did Sidney, but on behalf of the student body, we all say thank you!" He exclaims and the teens nearby gives their thanks.

"Drop it, Stu." Tatum says, aggressively tapping Stu's back. The man returns the favor by easily lifting his girlfriend up on his shoulder, causing her to gasp.

"You know what? Party tonight, my house!" Stu announces as he casually walks, carrying Tatum. "Celebrate this little siesta, Y/N said he's pay for half of the supply of bear, what do you say?"

"Are you serious?" Sidney asks him with a eye brow raised. Firstly, there's a curfew, second, there's a prowler in town, and lastly, calling it a 'siesta' doesn't sound right.

"My parents are out of town, and as long as this little vixen doesn't invite the entire world..." He smacks Tatum's ass, referring to her. "-We'll be fine." He optimistically states. "Intimate gathering, intimate friends."

"What do you say, Sid?" Tatum looks to her, looking open for the plan. "I mean, pathos could have it's perks."

"Y/N's also pretty much our bouncer for tonight, and look at me!" Stu flexes his muscles some more as he wraps Tatum in his arms for a couple seconds. "Could totally protect you, Me and Y/N, we got you covered girl!"

"I don't know..." Sidney hesitates, even when Stu tries to do some little puppy dog eyes.

"Come on Sid, for me?" Tatum encourages, part of the purpose for a party is to forget, and Sidney could do a lot of forgetting right now. "It could be fun." She notes as Stu sniffs, and nibbles on her neck.

Sidney pursues he lips, but when she thinks about it, there's no other plans coming up, and if all of her friends are coming.... She sighs. "Okay, whatever."

"Yeah? Niiiiice~" Stu excitedly grins. He lets the girls be on their way as he already daydreams about the night ahead. "Cool, you guys bring food, alright?" He requests, playing an imaginary guitar.

Man, tonight's gonna be killer. Ha, nice....

His train of thought is interrupted by someone flicking his head. "Ow!" He winces as he turns to see Billy with that usual face.

"Well?" Billy looks at him expectingly, gesturing towards the school, to which Stu glances at it and him before finally catching on the hint.

"Oh, yeah, it's done." Stu says with a confirming nod. "Y/N insisted he'd do most of it himself. Make sure you were 'in the clear.' He air quotes.

"And Sindey?"

"Piece of cake, she'll be there." Stu confidently assures, acting like he's just successfully asked out the hottest girl in the school.

"Thanks fuckrag, you did good." Billy accomplices for the first time in his life with a sinister smirk.

"So, are you still sure that's Y/N's a risk?" Stu queries, curiously. "If you ask me, he's a pretty cool dude to kill around." He jokes as he maunders the night with Casey and Steve.

"Stu, if you really think that guy's not capable of blowing the entire thing, then you're more stupid than I thought." He berates. Stu slightly raises his hands in surrender.

"I was just asking...." Stu mutters. "Why are you always at me?"

"Because I'm trying to build your self-esteem. Your far too sensitive." Billy explains as he thumbs Stu's forehead.

"Ow, okay! Geez...."

With that Billy walks along the other teens, Stu quickly following alongside him. "You ready to party tonight?" Billy asks with a dark smile.

"You know it!"

Meanwhile, back in the principle's office, Himbry is currently admiring himself in the mirror while wearing the Ghostface mask he was throwing to the ground earlier. Amused, he 'jumpscares' the mirror, letting out a small chuckle.

That's when there's knock at his office's door, which causes him to abruptly take off the mask, and spin towards the door. Thankfully, the fact that most people don't walk in spared him an embarrassing moment.

He opens to see nobody at the doorway. "Yes?" He hums as he peaks his head out, looking both ways. But there's still no one in sight. "Hello?"

Nothing, great. Seems that the new generation has more pranksters than amount of Nirvana fans. How the heck they got in here is beyond him, but he shouldn't be surprised if they took the keys or something.

Closing the door, he turns to see THE MASK OF THE KILLER!.... that he's holding. Himbry mentally wonders how the heck that made him jump, but guesses that having a killer on the loose does things like that.

Anyway, Himbry adjusts his hair to calm himself down when door knocks again. Thinking fast, he sprints to open it, but he apparently misses the culprit as he doesn't even catch a shadow. "Dammit.." He curses.

Throwing the mask back in his office, he goes to portal around the outer offices to find this sneaky little rat. He checks below the desks, the corner of the room, behind the cabnits, but not a soul insight.

Frustrated to no end, Himbry stomps to the door leading to the school corridor. The principal can just hear the teens giggling like monkeys at his inability to find them. "Dam little shits..." He grumbles.

"What'd you call me?" An old rough voice question. Himbry turns to see the janitor looking at him offended, wearing the same green and red sweater. "Huh?"

Himbry awkwardly swallows. "Not you, Fred."

The janitor grumbles something inaudible behind him as Himbry lets out a frustrating sigh. He doubles back to his office where he notices the closet, the closest that he left open seconds ago.

With a small tension in the air, Himbry skulks over, preparing himself for whatever's going to pop out. When he gets close enough, he slowly and stealthily grips the closet handle........ Then he swiftly opens it, nothing. He swipes the hanging suits out of the way, and nothing jumps out, looks like he's in the clear. His brain was probably fooling him to think it wasn't closed.

He turns and jumps again when he catches his reflection in the window, man, is he jumpy today. He leans on the door, taking a few breathes before turning to the still open office door. He double checks real quick, making sure nothing's there.

With the miscreant seemingly vanished, Himbry decides to let it go. He closes the door, and only when his eyes lands on his desk does he realize something's off, his big scissors are missing..... Then he feels someone behind him!

Turning around, Himbry meets the killer who stabs him in the gut with the scissors. He screams in pain as he gets another stab, then another. And when he starts falling, the killer stabs again, shutting the scissors closed before pulling them back, which causes Himbry to feel his skin get cut open.

When the principle's back hits the floor, the killer throws the scissors away and reaches into his coat to pull out his hunting knife. He sees his mask's reflection in Himbry's eyes which twitch in fear, something the killer cherishes as he stares back.

Then he croaches down to look deeper in the dying Himbry's expression. He slowly takes the sharp edge of the knife tip his already cut skin, before abruptly carving it in his stomach. The killer puts a hand over the principle's mouth to block out the screams as he splits his gut open, blood spurts out as the intestines becomes slightly visible.

When he removes his hand, he sees that Himbry has been chocking on his own bloods that's been trying to pour out from the mouth, which makes the killer to swipe the blood off his hand using the wall, which now has a little bit of red painted on it.

When Himbry's lights finally go out, the last thing he sees is the killer raising his knife....

Y/N, having done a crazy day's work, casually walks out from the school building. Thankfully, he notices there's still a few teens hanging about, meaning he isn't going to look as suspicious as wearing bright yellow whilst trying to blend in inside a colorless room.

Never-the-less, best he leaves as quickly, but casually as possible. The last thing he needs is to get caught carrying some very... questionable items.

He sashays down the sidewalk, towards the parking lot, where he finds his good old partners and maybe pals, Billy and Stu. The former looking to be bullying the poor Macher again.

"Ahoy, ahoy, my good friends." Y/N shouts at them as he strides on over. Stu turns to him with an excited, knowing look while Billy still has that 'fuck people' expression.

"So?" Billy asks expectingly. Y/N lets out a disappointed sigh at the guy's rude manners before pulling the tie that looks to be cut off, proof of Himbry's death.

"Now that's how you do it, baby!" Stu proudly congratulates as him and Y/N exchange a bro handshake. Billy just nods, not needing anything that shows Jennifer's been killed as well as he beckons towards his car.

"I was thinking we head to the video store before the big party." Billy shares with them as he searches for his keys. "All this 'drama' is plaguing my mind thinking about horror movies. Something like, 'When a Stranger Calls' "

"Yeah, man." Stu nods, down with the idea. Y/N shrugs since he had to head to work anyway. "Or how about 'Society'?" Stu then suggests, which causes Billy to give him a look.

"That's literally the weirdest thing a human could call a movie." Billy shuns, shaking his head as he finally pulls out his keys.

"And that's what makes it such a masterful work of art." Stu maunders, shedding a fake tear. Billy just scoffs while Y/N chuckles at him.

"Excuse me!" A very attention-grabbing voice calls out to them before they can step in the car. The three turn to see the very recognizable fashion sense of Gale Weathers, who's outfits always have the same color on everything.

"Are you Billy Loomis?" Gale queries while her cameraman Kenny follows behind her. Billy lets out a frustrated, but quiet sigh as he turns to her with a blank expression.

"Well, hello my lady~" Stu steps in, greeting with a risqué voice. Unimpressed, Billy elbows him in the side before stepping in front of him. "Ow!"

"Yes, and if you're asking for a comment about my unlawful arrest, I'm afraid you won't get it." He states before getting in his car, ignoring her. Stu rubs his stomach and he falls into the passenger seat.

Y/N faces the two, putting the microphone in his own face. "Sorry about that, he's a little grumpy today." He explains with a charismatic smile. "Being put a cell thanks to your girl can do that to you."

"Well, I hope he's doing okay." Gale comments in that professional voice, no doubt part of the reason being that the camera's on.

"Oh he is, believe me." Y/N promises with a sure nod. "I guess part of him is angry because part of him suspects Sidney still thinks it's him who attacked her last night." He shrugs.

"Oh well, I guess that's understandable given their relationship." Gale says, sounding as genuine as hard rock and stone. "Tell me, do you think there's a possible serial killer on the loose?"

Y/N pursues his lips for a moment, thinking on it before answering. "I do believe so, yes." He gives his 'honest opinion.'

Gale slowly nods, looking as if she's heard what she wanted to hear. "And could you consider that it may be related to Maureen Prescott's murder a year ago?" She asks next.

"Y/N! Let's go!" Billy yells, apparently running out of patience while near the reporter. Y/N quickly nods and turns to Gale to give one last comment.

"If it is, I can only say one thing...." Y/N then stares directly at Kenny's camera, anyone who pays attention could see the malevolent in his eyes. "We better watch out tonight, else the boogie mans gets you."

With that, he jumps in the car's back seat, Billy not even waiting for a second before putting his foot on the metal and getting out of the parking lot.

As they drive along the street, Y/N lets out a disappointed sigh, apparently expecting something else to come out of that small interview. "What?" Y/N turns to Stu who stares at him with a curious look.

"Nothing." Y/N dismissively shakes his head, not wanting to talk about it. Stu shrugs, letting the sounds of radio music and cars take over.

The three teens let their thoughts take over, thinking about the party ahead of them.
