Episode 2: Devil's Night 4/4 (Spicy)

Atlanta: Weaver High School

While one half of the group is running around the school building with their tail between their legs, the other half is currently hiding in one of the well-known spots a slasher movie is known for. It's kind of the only one they have, considering how places like under the desk are a laughable idea.

"Oh man, why the hell hasn't Y/N shown up yet? We should've went with him or something...." Amir quavers as he's still currently stressed, even when in a hiding place that's supposed to help with his fear of getting sliced open. His head spinning around, he eventually turns back to Beth who's standing somewhat next to him. "O-Okay, I know you're the expert, but why are we in here exactly?"

"Because storage closets are a classic horror hiding place." Beth answers confidently, the cliche of cliches has to have this as it's honorable mention right here. Amir blinks as he notices how little that helped him feel any better.

"Does that mean we're safe?" Amir asks for a more specific answer, but all he gets back from Beth is a shrug that admits she only knows part-way of what she's doing.

"Eighty-twenty, almost always works." Beth admittedly replies, ironically making it worse for Amir's mental state.

"And when it doesn't?" Amir queries as if it's not obvious enough what the answer to that question's supposed to be.

"It goes horribly wrong."

Just as she finishes giving that bluntly dark response, a figure appears through the lens of the door. Beth quickly grabs Amir's jacket as a silent warning to shut his mouth as they both see the mask of the killer roaming the halls, walking like a silent, calculating robot waiting for the tiniest sign of trouble.

When he's eventually gone from their view, Amir lets out a breath he definitely knew he was holding. "That was clo-"

"Shh!" Beth urgently puts a hand over his mouth as Ghostface suddenly re-appears. He stops in front of the closet and begins leaning its head through the blinds, almost eye level with them while they are still as a ghost. Amir could see her almost whimpering as the killer scans them up and down...

Before snapping his head and walking away.

Beth and Amir are now finally allowed to breathe as they now know that the coast is clear. "Okay..... Okay, now we're safe." Beth confirms for them as the room is now quiet in a good away again.

"How did you know he was gonna come back?"

"Because the killer always comes back." Beth states with a knowing voice, causing Amir to stare at her with a weird look as if wondering how she constantly finds a way to reference movies whenever she can. "What? I don't make the rules, donut boy. I just play by them." She says before leaning against the wall, letting out a big exhale. "Man....."

"Are you okay?" Amir asks her with a slightly concerned look, noticing how she's always been zoning out every two seconds, even when they were interrogating Shane earlier.

"Yeah, yeah...." Beth says as he rubs her face tiredly, which only makes Amir raise a skeptical brow.

"Are you sur-"

*THUD!*

A hockey stick suddenly falls on Amir and onto the ground, creating a loud sound that everyone nearby had to have heard. "Shit, great, now we gotta get out of here, or else we get gutted." Beth mutters as she urgently opens the closet doors and steps out, silently encouraging Amir to keep following her lead.

New hiding spot, it is.

Atlanta: Weaver High School

While one half of the group hides, the other half tries to make a run for it. Kym marching and sneaking around the hallways, looking for the master key in the principal's office since that's what Manny said it would be in. Being his best friend who wants to get through this with his lungs intact and all, she's inclined to believe him.

Thankfully, it's not too far, Kym turns the corner and eventually finds the door to said office. No lock or anything needed for her to stroll in like she owns the room. She looks around until she finds the board with hooks holding separate keys. She steps towards it and looms her hand across until she finally spots the master keys.....

Which are missing.

"Damn!" Kym cusses out loud, wondering why thinks can't be easy for just one second. Before she can even consider what she's going to do next with that out of the picture, the mic on the desk close by suddenly lets out a loud feedback noise. Her head curiously looks over, and walks over to see that there's some kind of Bluetooth speaker placed over it, and something's been on the button to keep it turned on.

Part of her wants to figure out what it does, but then, the speaker abruptly does it for her. "Attention, Weaver High Students. Slash is now in session and that means it's time for one of you to die." Ghostface's voice comes through the speaker, repeating the same thing he said on the school's speakers before. It was a recorded message.

Which means...

*SQUEEEEEEK!*

Hearing that eerie noise, Kym feels her body shaking while slowly turning around to see the chair that was next to one of the desks taking it's sweet time to face her. As the chair turns around.... it reveals the dead corpse of the security guard, his shirt and vest soaked from all of the blood that's come out of his eye.

Then... Ghostface slowly peaks his head out from behind it.

Kym screams as the killer then swiftly shoots himself up and charges at the teen with his signature hunting knife. However, the girl acts fast and steps away while also shooting some pepper spray into Ghostface's eyes. The person behind the mask quickly stops and grabs at the eye holes of the mask, flailing himself around....

Before he then just casually drops them, revealing that he was just fucking with Kym and is actually not affected by them at all. Ghostface slowly shakes his head at her, showing his disappointment in her for thinking that was going to work.

"Double damn!" Kym whimpers as she takes that as her cue to take off. Ghostface immediately gifts chase, though notably trips on a wet floor sign when turning the corner.

Kym turns the corner that finds herself back in the hallway, however, Ghostface is still hot on her tail, knife gripped tightly in his palm. His feet seem to be faster than hers as he gets ever closer with each second until he's swinging his knife at her, trying to get a slash in.

In spite of the situation, Kym is still thinking quick. She runs closer near one of the walls and as Ghostface raises his knife to finally get a slash in, she abruptly swings a door open, causing him to not only stab that inside, but run face first until, sending him back on the floor. "And stay down, bitch!" She curses at him while she keeps sprinting.

However, her running can only last for so long when she comes across a gate in the hallway blocking her bath. She mentally groans as she grabs and pulls on it in frustration, but obviously, that isn't going to do much.

Anxiously glancing behind her, she knows that she's playing a very lethal game of Temple Run and can't waste time. She takes her jacket off and gets herself down on the dirty, dirty floor, trying to push the gate up and crawl under the tiny gap at the bottom. However, she can only fit her legs and knees before getting stuck on her thighs.

While she's struggling, Ghostface calmly appears from the hallway, slowly turning his head towards her. Kym feels his presence and looks over with a bad feeling now in her gut. Seeing that she's staring at him, the killer takes this moment to pull out the master keys that she was looking for, mockingly dangling them in front of her.

Kym mentally curses as she stands up, now knowing that the situation is pretty fucked, and she has no clear way of getting out of this. She's new trapped between a gate and a psychopath. "Okay, Ghostface, you're right..... I am scared." The girl takes this moment to confess as the killer slowly walks towards her, deciding that he's going to have some fun with her before she dies. "You hear me behind that mask?! I SAID I'M SCARED!"

The loud noise of glass shattering a few miles away temporarily distracts Ghostface as he glances back for a few seconds, before deciding to ignore it and turn back to Kym, still approaching her in a playfully slow manner. He does little trick with his blade where it flips it around and catches it in mid-air, now having it point upwards in a way that signals his intentions with her.

Then...

*Click!*

"Relax, Kym, only one going down is this freak." Shane's voice quips behind Ghostface, causing him to slowly turn around and see the Smith and Wesson's barrel directly in front of his face. Right as he does, however, the drug dealer whips him across the face with the gun like he always does, causing him to fall to the floor.

"Shoot him, Shane!" Kym strongly advises as she runs over, seeing that the guy is oddly hesitating in pulling the trigger. His palm is shaking as well as the gun while it just stays horribly pointed at the serial killer who presses a palm against the area of his face that still somewhat hurts.

"Okay, okay...." Shane quavers as he still points but doesn't shoot. Kym glances between him and Ghostface who's slowly moving his head around, the blow having failed to knock him out.

"Oh, don't tell me you getting cold feet?"

"Shut up, Kym...."

"I thought you was hard!" Kym brings up in a annoyed, sassy voice, recalling was Amir said about him back in Weaver and is now wondering if any of that was true or just made up for public persona. "So what you gon' do?  Call the police and have them put this creep in a system? His face is white. He'll be out, trying to kill us again in no time!"

"I said, shut up, Kym!"

While they bicker, Ghostface is now getting himself back up, regaining his senses and back to reality. "Okay, you know what? How about I go out over there, get that gun and shoot him myself?" Kym angrily suggests as she marches over.

During which, though, Ghostface shoots his hand up and slices Kym's wrist with his blade, causing her to let out a scream while Shane catches her fall. Now having his distraction, the killer quickly stands up and bolts it towards the gate. "Go! Go!" Kym barks at Shane as the two look over to see him unlocking the gate with his master key. "Shoot him! Shoot him!"

However, despite Shane blatantly chasing the killer, he still finds himself unable to pull the trigger as Ghostface opens and closes the get behind him, re-locking it so they can't follow. "What are you waiting for? Pull the damn trigger!" Kym yells at the drug dealer as if her robot cleaner has deliberately stopped working. Ghostface can't help but be amused by this as he extends his arms wide like he owns the shadows, floating away like a ghost.

At this point, the two are struggling for custody of the firearm.

"Give it to me!"

"Let go. I can do this!"

"Give me the gun!"

However, by the time Kym steals it away from Shane, the killer is out of sight.

"Damn!"

After.....

With that surprisingly being very easy to escape from, Ghostface casually walks away, planning to use the escape route that he and his partner had planed. However, that's when he hears a car pulling up to the high school, kicking its tires against the concrete loudly. At first, he thinks it's Deion, but D-Day is known for running his way to school, no way in hell does he drive or own a car.

Curious, he walks over to a window and watches as it then parks on a random spot before the person driving it steps out.

Wait... is that...?

Y/N L/N Rips off his mask, trying to make sure his eyes aren't just blurry because of the mask. But, the blonde hair..... the face.... the gun.... that's her, alright. Oh crap, this wasn't part of the plan at all. The FBI was the reason they staged every murder like an accident or gang fight!

"Shit..." Y/N swears quietly to himself as he glances down for a few seconds before thankfully coming up with a new plan straight on the spot.

It's a good thing he memorized the lay out of the entire school when Kym suggested this crazy-ass tragedy. He sneaks around like Ghostface through the side of the building he's now in, eyeing every single hiding spot he knows Amir and Beth would've chosen. The only problem is, he had to choose one time he has no clue where she actually is to pull this move.

Thankfully though, he doesn't have to look for too long, when he spots Beth trying to tip-toe a tiny part of the hallway, seemingly trying to find a new hiding spot for the sake of it. Y/N purposefully waits for a second, taking cover in the perfect position..... before popping out behind his shoulder. "Boo!"

"Fuck!" Beth exclaims before quickly realizing that it's him. "Thanks, Patrick Sucksman, I really needed that..." She sarcastically comments with an extremely annoyed tone as she rubs her forehead, knowing that she would've saw him coming if it wasn't for the drugs. Y/N chuckles with twisted grin at her reaction. "Why is your mask off, anyway? I thought you-"

"New plan, starting now." Y/N abruptly tells her as they have no time for her questions. His face is swiftly back to serious, getting Beth's attention as she watches Y/N loosen the belt, take off his gloves, and lift up the black cloak before handing all of that and the mask to her, knife included. "Put it on."

"What?" Beth questions, blinking.

"You want to finally put the costume on, right? Well, here's your chance." Y/N points out as he urgently extends them to her, trying to make it clear that there's no time for hesitation now. Beth raises a brow at him, though, since it's the kill she wants to have, not the cheap-ass costume. "Look, there isn't the time for a debate, a fed is here and they're gonna ruin everything if we don't come up with a counter right now."

"A fed?" Beth repeats his words, thinking for a split second that her ears must have gotten faulty and the pill did more to her than she though. "Why the fuck is there a FBI Agent coming here?" She questions him a bewildered expression, to which Y/N glances back, weirdly shy.

"She's here, because......" Y/N takes a deep swallow as he acknowledges to be the moment he shares something about Beth that he was really hoping to keep to himself. "She's here in Atlanta because of me."

"The fuck you mean, because of you?!"

"Hey, look, I'd love to get into my whole life story when we aren't trying to play a scene, right now, alright?" Y/N sassily remarks as he reminds Beth to get back into the game, snapping her fingers. "Look, I know this is sudden, but we both need to play a bit together, alright? If it makes you feel any better, I'm gonna be back in character, begging in a few minutes, yeah?"

Beth, although still not liking this, sighs as she does find the idea of being the one that's not 'witnessing' events this one time temping. "Okay... fine...." She dryly gives in, to which Y/N nods before allowing her to take the costume and knife.

"Alright, so here's what we're gonna do....."

Atlanta: Weaver High School

Meanwhile, Kirby Reeds shoots open a locked school door and makes her way inside. She doesn't announce her title and name immediately though, due to this place being dead quiet and her not really knowing the situation yet. As of right now, all she knows is that this school looks and feels drastically haunted.

She silently patrols the school staring from down the hall, making sure to check each and every classroom door before continuing on. Her gun is trained in her hands, ready to shoot the second she sees a weapon/knife coming straight at her.

This keeps going until she passes by the councilor offices, where she hears a small thud coming from inside. Abruptly stopping, she slowly turns towards it and takes slow steps into the room, safety off. She does a quick scan before noticing that one of the doors are open, prompting her to sneak over to the side of it, preparing for anything.

She slowly puts her hand on the knob, the door somehow creaking just from that......

Then, she throws it open with gun raised.

"Wait! Wait! Don't shoot!" A pair of hands quickly come out from behind the desk, shaking as the person under it realizes that it's not Ghostface that just found them.

"Come out, slowly." Kirby orders seriously, still sticking to her training. The hands press against the desk as Y/N's face slowly pops out and into view, showing Kirby a teenager's face. If only that would automatically calm her down. "Who are you? What's going on?"

"Um..... I am a guy who's trying not to get killed." Y/N pathetically answers, his usual douche-y persona non-existent in this moment as he sits himself up slowly. "The heck are you doing with a gun?!"

"Special Agent Kirby Reed, FBI, now answer my previous question!"

"I'm hiding from murderers! That's what's going on!" Y/N answers loudly with a still freaked out expression on his face. He slowly stands up, holding a hand against his heart. "Ghostface is in here and is turning the place into his own playground."

"Wait, Ghostface?" Kirby queries almost excitedly as Y/N passes her, walking back into the main room of the offices while breathing heavily. "You're telling me The Ghostface is here and has killed someone?"

"That's what I just said, wasn't it-"

Suddenly, another office door opens, and Ghostface comes out of the shadows and charges at Y/N with his blade ready to come towards him. "Look out!" Kirby exclaims as Y/N frantically steps away until he falls onto a chair when he accidentally kicks his heel against it. The agent's arm takes the scratching at the blade before the killer then grabs her by her jacket and tries slamming her against the wall. However, the agent manages to grab by and instead they both send each other out the door and sliding across the hallway floor. The gun also slides a good few inches away.

"Holy shit! It's Ghostface!" Y/N yells out the obvious in terror as Ghostface is the first to sit up and brings his fist down on Kirby, punching her hard in the face. He then brings the knife down too and tries to impale her heart, but the agent grabs it right as she tries, prompting the killer to bring a second hand up to the top and press even harder against it.

Despite Kirby's will she's putting into her hands, the knife is getting closer and closer to her chest.....

"HEY!"

Ghostface turns just in time to see Deion Elliot tackling the bastard off of Kirby with his football kills. "Get off her, motherfucker!" He barks in the killer's face, only to then get a stab in the side from him, causing the athlete to yelp before Ghostface then shoves him off.

Now out-numbered, the killer once again takes off, with Y/N grabbing the agent's gun and quickly giving chase along with Deion and Kirby. They run all the way the circular area with all the vending machines. Ghostface then starts heading towards the door where Y/N then tries to shoot the killer (purposefully missing) and they just hit steel instead.

"Damnit!" He curses out loud as they still sprint towards the door. During which, the Ghostface glances at Deion real quick, before doing the 'I got you' eyes gesture directed solely at him before taking off. The athlete stands there frozen while Y/N and Kirby run over and try to get the door open to no avail. "Fuck!"

"Great, that could've gone better...." Kirby mutters with a big sigh, before giving Y/N a blank look. The teen eventually understands and hands her, her pistol back. Deion meanwhile, is too mentally distracted to be disappointed.

That thing he did with this hands.....

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

"Damn straight." Deion shamelessly replies, before doing a 'eyes on you' gesture with his hand. "And I got you."

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

"I got you, bruh! I got you!"

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

"Deion? You good?" Y/N asks as he starts to notice Deion staring off into space. Thankfully, saving himself from having to answer that is Kym and Shane who are suddenly running in from one of the hallways.

"Where'd he go?" Kym immediately asks as she runs over, before noticing the blonde woman standing with the two boys. "And what the hell's is one of Charlie's Angels doing here?"

"Wow, that has to be the nicest nickname anyone has ever given to me." Kirby comments with a slow nod, to which the two boys glance over, wondering if that's really true. "Well, besides 'sexy' but that doesn't really count anymore now that the guy's a confirmed psychopath and dead."

"Yikes, more like Black Widow...." Shane silently quips with a slightly turned on smirk, to which Y/N gives him an agreeing chuckle.

"He got away." Deion then reports the part of Ghostface, pointing towards the door he just escaped from. "Locked the door, ain't no way we'll catch up to him in time."

"Great, thanks to your bitch ass, 'Mr. Fade'." Kym angrily remarks as she punches Shane in the shoulder, causing him to wince and rub it a bit.

"Wait, you're Mr. Fade?" Kirby queries with a raised brow, having thought that the Ghostface they just lost was him and was not expecting it to be one of the most predictable suspects.

"Yeah, but I ain't to killer, obviously." Shane promises with his arms briefly raised, not wanting to get arrested by one of the higher blues. "Hey, you might wanna watch these guys, they gassed me up and tied me to a chair after I-"

"Oh, wow, now he's making shit up." Y/N quickly interrupts him with a point and twisted laugh, obviously not wanting him and the gang to get arrested for vigilantism so soon. "Okay, sure, party not railings, guy."

"Fuck you, always at the booze table." Shane counters back with his own point.

"Hey, can we play, 'snitch each other to the cop' later? We almost just got killed and now we hopefully got a police officer on our whack ass team!" Kym points out as she nods towards Kirby, who chuckles a bit at the lower rank.

"Not an officer, FBI." Kirby corrects her as she shows her badge just like she did with Detective L/N, causing everyone besides Y/N to blink in surprise.

"FBI?!" Kym and Shane react appropriately, one with more fear than others. I bet you can tell which one of them is that.  "Oh, boy, I can't tell if that better or worse..." Kym mumbles while rubbing her forehead.

"Kym! Guys!" Manny appears from the same direction, now having a lot more breath in his lungs. He obviously glances at his best friend first where he notices the cut on her arm. "Kym, oh my gosh, you're bleeding." He states the obvious with worriment as he steps over to check it. He offers his jacket as a temp bandage to soak up the blood.

"Who's bleeding?!" Another voice asks worriedly as everyone turns to see Amir jogging over from the hallway opposite of the ones the other three just came from. "Kym, are you okay?!"

"I'm fine. Where's Beth?" Kym assures him before giving him a curious look, noticing that she's not with him.

"I-I'm not sure. We all got separated."

"How convenient...." Kym sarcastically remarks with a massive eye roll. "Right when the killer's coming for my ass, you, Morticia, and 6IX9INE over here make a run for it."

"Bitch, you made a run for it!" Y/N points out with a look. "We told you to hide."

"I'm here!" Beth's voice then chimes in before the two haters can get into another argument, prompting everyone and turn to see the only person left missing walking over to them without a scratch on her clothes. "Totally in one piece, so you guys can quit worrying about me now. Oh, and by the way, I take Morticia Addams as a compliment, so, thanks."

"Look, I told y'all not to make a move without me." Deion then brings up, noticing just how shaken everyone is from the given scenario, him included. "What happened?"

"My plan worked, that's what." Kym confidently answers to which Y/N blinks at her.

"Worked, my ass! I almost got killed if it wasn't for this agent!" Y/N retorts snappishly as he points towards Kirby.

"We had Ghostface in our sights!" Kym insists, not shying away from that statement. "We had a gun to his face until Shane here couldn't man up and pull the trigger." She calls him out, causing everyone except Kriby to glance at the guy with a raised brow, even Beth's surprised to hear that he didn't have the guts to do it. "Too bad you weren't there." She then sassily remarks as she turns to Deion.

"Hey, man, lay off! He saved Kirby from-"

"No, Y/N it's fine, I deserve that." Deion raises a hand, calming Y/N tone. "Look, I know. I'm sorry, but I promise y'all that I'll fix this."

"Man, ain't no pep talk gonna work!" Kym criticizes with a tone that's clearly just letting out all the stress from almost dying a second time. "This is not a football game, this is real life. How we gonna find out who the man behind the mask now?"

"Look, Kym, I said I'll fix it."

"Wait, you guys all came here to find out who Ghostface was? Has he been harassing all of you?" Kirby queries as she's caught onto a few things from listening to them banter in the previous twenty seconds. She then raises a hand before someone answer. "Wait, let me guess, the cops didn't believe you?"

"You damn right, and now we're once again paying the price for it." Kym confirms with a passionate expression as she holds the jacket against her wound. "Manny, come on, let's go, find a way out this damn school."

"Are-" Deion tries to say something, but Kym is already storming off. Manny gives them a sheepishly glance before eventually following, since wherever she goes, he goes. He lets out a deep sigh, wishing that could've ended better.

"Hey..." Shane then steps over to Beth. "Let's go, I'll walk you home." He offers, offering his protection to her, and maybe also harboring some genuine feelings? Beth considers for a moment before glancing at Y/N who's eyes suggest that he doesn't like the idea of her going with him at all.

And surprisingly, that kind of makes her happy.

"I think I'll roll with the douche." Beth tells him instead, blatantly staring at him which makes Shane glance over at Y/N with a slightly heated look in his eyes. "At least I know he's a pussy." She remarks with a glare.

Shane turns around as Y/N gives him a shrug, unable to help the cocky feeling he's showing with his body language. The drug dealer scoffs before walking away, shouldering past him as he heads for his own exit. The douche doesn't mind it, however, and just chuckles as he gives the other Deadfast Club members and FBI Agent a nod before he leaves with Beth.

Amir, swallowing, shyly turns to the older woman, having a slight problem on his hands. "Can you.... leave with me?" He asks, knowing that it sounds kind of weird coming from him.

"Sure, I don't see why not." Kirby answers with a smile, understanding the kid's justifiable fear of not wanting to walk back home alone during the night. "You coming too? There's plenty of room." She then offers Deion, who blinks as he looks up at her.

"Oh, nah, nah, you go head. I think I wanna walk home this time." Deion answers her with a shake of his head. Kirby nods she and Amir take their leave.

"Don't worry, your secret's safe with me... for now." Kirby promises before they are gone.

Now alone in the middle of the school building, Deion glances around in everyone direction the group left in, mentally noting their separate moods after almost getting attacked or threatened by Ghostface at least once.

This group might have just been further separated because of this.

Weaver High School: Parking Lot

Beth and Y/N walk over to the latter's car. Well, more like, Y/N is marching while Beth is a few feet behind him, trying to follow. He did pretty well in pretending nothing was there in front of everyone, but now that he's alone with her, the true self has once again re-appeared. "Dang it, we almost had her there." He mutters as he punches his palm, referring to Kirby and the moment when Beth had the knife inches away from her heart.

"Alright, scene's over." Beth chimes in, causing Y/N to stop as she marches over towards him, the two knowing that they now have their privacy to talk like themselves again. "Now, you mind telling me why you have the Atlanta field offices gunning for you?"

"That's an overexaggeration, it's just her that's the problem." Y/N corrects her with a blank look, to which Beth tilts her head, still waiting for the answer. "Look, I don't really know why. All I was able to catch was that my online activity was being tracked once, and now have to use burners to by my shit, like tasers." He explains somewhat, throwing a hand up in frustration that the Reed bitch is here. "She has a special interest in Ghostface attacks."

"You mean, because of Danny Johnson." Beth almost instantly guesses correctly, to which Y/N blinks at her before slowly nodding.

"Yeah.... because of him." He confirms with a interested brow, wondering if Beth knows about the costume more than she previously made it seem like. "Anyway, that's a bridge we have to cross later, right now. We need to handle the matter of my identity theft."

"Identity theft?" Beth questions with a raised brow. "What are you talking about?"

"Who else? I don't like someone else confessing to something they aren't, gets my kill drive going." Y/N replies with a scoff as if assuming Beth should already know this, though he isn't helping to jog her memory. "Especially after I planned so much to get to the subway party."

Beth takes that phrasing into her mind, before eventually putting the puzzle together. "You're Mr. Fade."

"You damn right." Y/N confirms with a passionate glare. "And I promised you a kill, so unless you wanna miss out, let's do it." He encourages her as he nods towards his car, prompting the girl to make a rare smirk.

"About fucking time."

Atlanta: PD Station

Harvey is still at the station, going through folders on his desk. When his door opens, he expects to see the officers he sent to the school to come through, but instead, it's Agent Reed, holding an object with her arm. "What's that?" He asks her while raising a brow, also wondering what she found on her go-alone mission.

"An item left behind in the principal's office." Kirby answers with a blank expression as she sets on the desk in front of him. "The barcode was ripped off, but the person who likely owned it did this to me minutes after I got to the school. There was also a dead body in their too." She reports before leaving up her sleeve, revealing her knife cut to him. "Now, you can't ignore this."

She then leaves, knowing that this time, she's won this pointless debate between them. Detective Harvey lets out a huge sigh as he then glances at the speaker and notices the blood on it.

Guess he'll now have to change the board.

Atlanta: Suburbs

Down at Manny's house, the boy is currently patching up Kym's arm, which not-surprisingly, isn't really that deep. It's likely that no one will notice if she keeps wearing long sleeves and these bandages on until it closes up.

"You're awful quiet." Kym comments after minutes of silence, having expected a lecture from her friend about him being right that she should've never said 'I'll be right back' and how she wasn't careful enough.

"Just been thinking..." Manny replies with a mental shrug as he focuses on his work.

"What about?" Kym asks curiously, to which Manny lets out a small exhale.

"About what I want my funeral to be."

"Though you didn't want to play that game."

"Trust me, I don't." Manny still states with a small nod before he finishes up. Walking over to sit on the chair in front of his desk where he lets out a small exhale. "But.... it's becoming pretty obvious that death is a real possibility." He admits, to which Kym nods with a bittersweet smile.

"Okay, what you got in mind?"

"Nothing big." Manny starts with a small chuckle, though Kym feels like that's a jab at her version. "Want the people I love to meet up at my favorite spot. Look out over the city lights like I always do. Maybe pour out some kombucha for the homie." He says with a small chuckle. "I want to be remembered.... for who I am, not for who anyone else wanted me to be." He tells her with a dream-like glance out the window, to which Kym nods.

Sounds pretty nice.

Apartment Complex:

Shane walks through the halls of the complex with a shaky breath, rubbing a hand through his face as he struggled real hard to get these meds again after losing them back at the school ambush. Swear, he can resort to anything, and it'll still not be enough money for him waiting at the end of the road.

He steps inside and already hears the beeping from a medical machine in the bedroom, the huffing from the oxygen generator. He sets his orange beanie and other stuff down while still carrying the plastic bag he brings into the bedroom where he sees a woman he knows laying on the bed, unable to do anything else.

He tries to be quiet, but the woman slowly opens her eyes, somehow able to detect a presence. "Is someone there?" She says, a tiny bit scared at first, prompting Shane to remove his hoodie and show his face.

"Yeah, yeah, it's just me, Grandma." Shane replies with a calm and earnest smile as he walks over and sits himself down on the bed, much to his grandmother's relief. "How you feeling tonight?"

"Same as always, like dancing." Grandma replies with a big smirk, her words stronger in comparison to her body's condition. Her undying spirit makes Shane chuckle in response.

"Okay, well..." Shane puts his hand in the bag and sets down all of the useful stuff he's been getting for her onto the nightstand next to her bed. "Here you go, this should last you a while, in case you pull a muscle dancing or something." He quips, to which his grandmother hums with an amused smirk.

"I've been putting in some overtime..." Shane lies to her, not wanting to admit to the lows he resorted to in order to get this kind of money. "I said I was gonna make enough to get us out of this place." He bitterly remembers as he looks around the apartment, still hating the sight of it.

"Home is wherever me and you at." His grandma states with a shake of her head. "We don't need nothing more." She tells him, and Shane slowly nods, glancing down at the floor.

"Yeah....."

Suddenly, something smacks against the window of the bedroom with a loud thud. "What was that?" Shane's grandma shudders as the guy stands up and walks over to it, opening the curtains to find a bunch of eggnog all over the glass now. Yells and hoots come from outside, signaling who did it.

"It's this damn Devil's Night..." Shane mutters with an annoyed shake of head, wondering why the assholes couldn't find anywhere else to play their dumb jokes at. "I'll be right back." He tells  his grandma before exiting the room to teach those punks a lesson, grabbing his piece on the way out.

Walking out and through the alleyway, he looks around to find parked cars covered in toilet paper, more egged windows, and cream shaved on various places of the tiny lot, but no prank bros to confront. He looks around, mentally grunting before he spots an odd message created with foam on the wall of the neighboring building above the parking garage door.

COWARD

That's when his phone rings, a slightly bad time, but he still pulls it out through his jacket's pocket. He doesn't recognize the contact, but due to the nature of his work, he pretty much has to answer it. "Who's this?"

"Hello, friend...." A male's voice greets with a small, twisted purr. "I'm just a guy who's looking to score, heard from someone that you were the guy to find. That's not going to be a problem, is it?

"No, no problem at all." Shane responds with a shake of his head as he paces around, sniffing. "What you need? I got oxys, Vikes...."

"I'm looking for something a little bit harder than that." The stranger replies with a slightly teasing tone of voice. "But don't worry. You have it running through your veins." He adds with a growl, making Shane realize that this isn't just some random caller.... this is the Ghostface Kym and the others were talking about.

"Oh, so it's like that, huh?" Shane asks as he pulls out his gun, trying and failing not to shudder. He glances back at the message, now knowing who wrote it. "I'm warning you, I aint playing." He threatens the killer, who just blatantly chuckles behind the phone.

"Yes, you are. You just don't know the game." Ghostface playfully responds, no doubt watching Shane look at all of the hiding places the person watching him could be. "We're playing Chicken, Shane, and you already blinked."

"Yeah? Well, my eyes are wide open now, okay?" Shane tells the intimidating caller as he slightly fidgets with his toy, still trying to spot the killer, not wanting to make the same, this time fatal, mistake twice. "It ain't gonna happen again."

"We'll see about that...." Ghostface comments with a seemingly skeptical edge to his sentence. "New game, Hide-and-Seek." He declares before something blunt hits the back of Shane's head without warning. "Come and find me..." He orders before hanging up for him.

Shane groans as he feels the back of his head with the hand holding his phone, finding that it's bleeding a little bit. He looks down and sees that it was a brick, a fucking brick that someone dropped at his head. He angrily looks up and where it came from and sees the fire escape stairs, but the ladder's all the way up there. He jumps up but can't reach it. He seethes as he looks around, trying to find some way to get to it....

Before the ladder decides to come down for him.

Problem is, it catches him off guard and lands on his neck, causing Shane to fall down and hit the concrete roughly on his back. The drug dealer grunts as he tries pushing the big hunk of metal and steel off of him, but the thing's stubborn as a mule. In other words, he's literally stuck in this position.

That was likely the plan too, as a few seconds later, a figure comes down the ladder and calmly sets their feet down on the ground. Shane looks up and sees that it's the same Ghostface he tried and failed to shoot back at the school. Looks like he's come to finish the job. He sees his gun a few inches away from his hands and desperately tries to grab it, but it's just not close enough for his fingers to grasp it.

"Get me outta here!" Shane demands as he goes back to struggling with the damn ladder, which still doesn't lift in his favor. He looks up and sees that the killer hasn't brought a knife this time, but instead, a syringe filled with something hardcore. "Hey, hey, hey! What the hell? Come on, man." He stresses out as he realizes what Ghostface is about to do as he kneels down so his face's above him. "Hey, don't do this, don't do this. I got stuff!" He pleads, but the man behind the mask seems to ignore him as he slowly points the needle downwards towards him. "Wait, hey, listen to me! Listen to me! Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait! Please, please, please!"

Ghostface ignores his constant pleading, and puts his freehand over his mouth to shut him up. Then, he slowly and carefully tilts the needle slower towards him before injecting it perfectly into his eye socket, pushing his thumb hard on the back so it inserts everything inside it. Shane grunts and shakes a bit as he struggles against the killer's hold. But when the trap master takes their hand off and watches the aftermath of their work, they see him already foaming at the mouth, gagging on his body's acid reflex.

It goes on for a few minutes before his goes still, very dead.

The killer behind this deed, Beth, takes off her mask as she takes a deep breath, a little disappointed that he stopped squirming so quickly. She reaches into her cloak and grabs a cigarette that she lights up while the person making the call walks up and stares down at Shane next to her.

"Not enough red for my tastes....." Y/N comments as he observes the fresh corpse, whishing that there was a little bit more blood, but the unique method isn't something ignored, he'll give it that. "How do you feel?" He curiously asks Beth as he turns to her with a proud smirk.

"I don't know what exactly I'm shaking from, but...... for the first time in my life, I know that it's not because I'm cumming or taking any drugs." Beth answers him with her eyes still on the body, her voice threatening to shake with excitement and ruin her image.

"Interesting, I thought that was just me with the knife, before I moved on to neck stabs." Y/N notes with a small hum, calmly putting his hand on her shoulder which she interestingly doesn't step away from in disgust. "Though, I'm.... oddly turned on that you still have that adrenaline." He adds, making a quick face.

Curious, he turns her around, wishing she'd have more blood on her face, but her eyes..... they still tell a story, once that Y/N is all too familiar with. And if the way Beth stares back at him sayings anything, it's likely that she can read it too off of him.

Just like that one time in the tattoo shop, she grabs his face and kisses him out of excitement. But this time, she doesn't immediately pull away after. Y/N is now allowed to return the gesture as he decides to wrap his arms around her waist, only for Beth to almost instantly break away when he does.

He thinks for a second that he pissed her off, doing that, but then watches as Beth quickly gets the robe off before grabbing his face again and pulling him back in, not giving a damn when his hands touch and grab her body the second time. The moment escalates further than other one was probably expecting when their lips made contact, as Y/N pushes Beth against the brick wall, causing her to grunt for a second before her hands reach over her back and pulls him closer, as if having really liked him rough handling her like that.

Beth's pull practically begs him to rub his body against hers as they make out, and Y/N is more than happy to oblige, but he doesn't expect this kissing to be good enough for the girl very long. Her teeth ensnare his bottom lip in a trap and bite on his hard and long that it could possibly be bleeding now, but granted, Y/N did mention a need for more red. Her nails scratch his skin then they grip his neck, possibly leaving a mark when this is over.

He trails down and begins leaving some kisses on his neck before implanting his vangs as if he was a vampire. Beth begins to moan in response when he eventually finds her sweet spot and sucks on it. She leans into his teeth, find a small form of pleasure in this, but Y/N knows that it's about time they get really rough.

Without warning he spins her around and presses his chest against her back. Once again, Beth gasps in surprise, but still lets out a noise that indicates  that she likes it. She puts her hands on the will while Y/N handles her pants and tears them and the underwear straight down to her thighs. Not all the way down, they don't want to lose any piece of their clothes while out in the open like this.

He then messes with and eventually handles his own pants and what's underneath, freeing his special blade he prepped just for her. He grabs onto the right places of her hips before slowly pushing himself inside her asshole. Beth lets out a small moan as she and him can already feel it going tight, clinging onto the new guest that's made his way inside. He doesn't waste time in going in and out though, letting the tiny sounds of flesh slapping against flesh commence.

Beth grunts in pleasure as she slowly leans into it, wanting Y/N not to be gentle with her. Thankfully, Y/N didn't have any plans to, and his hands slink under her shirt and fondle her bra underneeth. The goth lets out a muddled hum before leaning back against his chest, pressing her back against it. The two now share now pace between their bodies as the guy pounds into her faster.

Her loud moans demand that he finishes already, worried she might get overwhelmed by all these new-found senses she is feeling, at least, new in a way she hasn't felt this with any of her previous hook-ups. Once she finally feels his load shooting inside of her, Beth shamelessly cums too, her liquid dripping onto the concrete.

"That was... different." Beth comments while clearing her throat, and Y/N agreeingly nods as the two separate, causally pulling and zipping their pants back up as if this was just a casual Monday morning. However, they share a look that knows that this kind of sex hits much different when it's between the two of them. Still, they needed to be quick, because the alley they just fucked in will soon be a crime scene. "You know, I kind of already want to kill someone again, despite having already done it less than thirty minutes ago."

Y/N hums before looking up at the apartment complex with a smirk slowly creeping up his face.

"That can be arranged...."

The door to the apartment once again opens, and someone slowly walks over to the bedroom where she finds the weak lady still laying on the bed.

"Is someone there?" The woman asks again, unable to see the figure standing there from the shadows. "Shane? My boy? Is that you?"

"Yes...." Beth answers with a blank expression before slowly stepping out of the darkness. "And no."

She casually pulls out Shane's gun and....

*BANG!*

(A/N) New chapter!

Sorry this took a long time, was kind of in a place where I wasn't motivated to write this, but I've managed to finally finish Episode 2, meaning that there's only four more to go now. I know Beth needed to get her killing in, so here's the chapter where I finally gave it to her. I'm also sure no one was surprised that Y/N was Mr. Fade in this fanfic, it was likely to be expected since he's the party thrower, and you know how party throwers are in this genre.

For anyone wondering, Kirby will be the only character from the OG movies that returns in this fanfic. I remember seeing a comment on YouTube or something mentioning how she was in the Atlanta Field Offices and how she would react if this happened, so here we are.

Plz vote and comment, any counts as feedback, and I'll see you in the next one!

Current Kill Count:

Y/N: 4

Beth: 2

Unknown: 1
