    Fiona Gilbert was beginning to think she had bad luck. Once upon a time she had everything she could ever want. To be honest, she found it safe to say that she had earned the title of being an 'it girl'. She craved the attention that she never failed to receive. It'd always been that way. And she wouldn't want to trade her life for anyone else's.

Well, that was the case until one night, when fiona's parents had gotten into a fatal car crash, with her older sister in the back seat. While her sister had survived, her mother and father didn't. Fiona and her siblings lives had shattered, leaving them to pick up the pieces. It seemed as though death was following her endlessly.

Fast forward to now, fiona wants nothing more than to blend in with the shadows, hating the prying eyes from those surrounding her. It was a small town, meaning everyone knew the tragic backstory of the tight knit gilbert family. With fiona struggling to grieve the death of her parents, and now with the rumors of so-called supernatural creatures roaming the streets of mystic falls, she doesn't know how to cope.

It wasn't until the bodies began to drop like flies (the Gilbert girl somehow being the one to find them) and Fiona began to hear voices in her head, that she would question her sanity. Her mind was a mess. Only this time, she had no intention of cleaning it.
