The policeman: Okay. We'll search for him.

Lily: Good...

Lily turns off the call. She sobs. Her parents walk in through the door. They go to Lily.

The mom: What happened?

Lily: A killer just broke into the house and tried to kill me. His name was Ghost Face. And he destroyed the standing lamp in the living room...

Lily goes first to the living room and her parents go after. They look shocked.

Lily's dad: You have to call the police...

Lily: I did. He said that they'll search for him.

Lily's dad: Okay, good.

Lily's mom: What if he comes again?

Lily sighs deeply.

- He said that he's coming again, the day after tomorrow.

Lily's parents: What?!

- And I think that he's going to try to kill me.

Lily's dad: That's horrible! The police have to catch him!

Lily's mom: I agree. He's a shame, he tried to kill our daughter, and he broke the lamp. But the worst was that he tried to kill Lily.

Lily is going to bed with pajamas on. She gets a message from "Ghost Face".

Ghost Face: You can't hide when the time has come.

Lily is feeling scared. After a while, she turns off the light and starts to sleep. She gets a nightmare.

It's night. She goes out to take a walk. Suddenly, her cell phone rings. She answers.

- I don't want to hear more from you, Ghost Face!

- I'm not Ghost Face. Turn around.

Lily turns around and sees her boyfriend, Mike. She screams. She runs away, to her house, and hides behind the bushes. He runs after, finds her and cuts her in the heart, with his knife.

Next morning, Lily is at Zoe's home with Mike. They sit on Zoe's bed. Lily turns to Zoe.

- Can we speak alone?

- Sure!

Lily and Zoe leave the room and close the door. Mike shouts to them.

- Don't take too much time!

Lily: I know who killed my sister and how she died.

Zoe: How?

- Through a nightmare. I dreamt that I was in the park, when suddenly, Ghost Face called me. And it was my boyfriend. I ran away to my house, then he killed me.

- That doesn't make sense. Your boyfriend? Would he really want to kill your sister? Why?

- I don't know, it was just a dream but... it can be true.

- Don't be scared. Everybody can dream nightmares sometimes. Even I, who watch different scary movies every day.

Lily smiles.

- Okay. I'm not gonna suspect him.

Zoe smiles back.

- Great! Life's better when we don't suspect each other.

- What do you mean?

- Just a slogan I made up.

Lily goes to Mike and Zoe follows. Mike starts to hug Lily.

- I missed you.

- Why? It was just a short moment.

- Why? It's because you're my girlfriend.

Mike stops hugging Lily.

- And I love you...

- I love you too...

Zoe: Can we watch a scary movie?

Mike: Sure!

Lily: I don't know...

Mike looks at Lily, with puppy eyes.

- Come on... It'll be fun!

- Okay...

Zoe puts a DVD into her TV, "Paranormal Activity". After a while, when the scary things are starting to come, Lily closes her eyes. After the movie, Zoe and Mike notice that Lily has her eyes closed.

Zoe: Open your eyes. Don't be such a coward.

Lily opens her eyes.

- I was scared.

Mike: Yeah, let her be. She isn't used to watching horror movies.

Zoe: Okay. Do you want to watch something else, Lily?

- No, I'm tired of watching TV.

Mike: I think I'm heading home.

- Me too.

Zoe: Okay. Bye!

Zoe waves to them and they wave back when they go out from the room. Mike follows Lily to her house.

- Nice house. I've never thought about that before.

- Do you know what happened to me in this house?

- No, what happened?

- A masked killer nearly killed me. His name was Ghost Face.

Mike looks shocked.

- You have to call the police.

- I did. I hope they'll find him. Because he said that he's coming tomorrow too. "The day after tomorrow", he said yesterday... I don't want to die!

Mike hugs Lily.

- It's okay... You aren't going to die. Just do the things that the survivors do in horror movies.

- What do they do?

- Okay, that may be bad advice, since you don't watch horror movies. I can stay at your house overnight.

- Okay, thanks. But I have to tell my parents first.

Lily goes to the front door. She turns around to Mike.

- Are you coming with me?

Mike goes to the front door too. Lily knocks on it. Her dad opens.

- Are Mike here, visiting us? Hello, Mike.

- Hello. Can I stay over at Lily's house tonight? She's scared of Ghost Face.

- Sure. Come in!

They go into the house. Mike looks at the standing lamp in the living room.

- What happened to the lamp? It's broken...

Lily: It was the killer. He broke it, so that my parents would think it was me. But it didn't go as planned. I told them he was here.

- Let's go to sleep, and we'll finish the killer tomorrow. I'm tired. Are you?

- Yeah... let's go to sleep.

Lily is laying on the bed while Mike sleeps on a mattress on the floor. She sighs deeply. Every time she closes her eyes, she sees the killer. Suddenly, she sees Ghost Face outside her window. When he discovers that she is watching him, he runs away from the house. Lily tries to wake Mike up.

- Mike!

Mike wakes up.

- What is it?

- I saw Ghost Face outside my window! And then he ran away. I think that was a way for him to threaten me.

- Oh no! Where did he run?

- Across the street.

- If I find Ghost Face, I'm going to kick him in the face.

- Can you do karate?

- Well, I think I can do it if I really want to. Maybe...

- I don't think it's going to work, anyway. I sprayed pepper spray on his face, and he just wiped it away.
