"Oh, NO IT'S AN EEL!" The woman in her flimsy and almost see-through shirt on the screen screams in absolute horror.

"Show us your tits!" Popcorn was thrown in the air and at the woman on the screen before a loud crackling giggle echoed in the room as the girls watched the actress on screen resumes her screams as it echoed the empty home.

"Mai you're so bad~" Mai's classmate giggled, nudging her friend a bit as Mai giggled again and snacked on the popcorn happily.

"Oh, shut up Chisa!" Mai giggled, "She has a nice pair and it's going to be wasted on this cheap D rated movie that Riko picked."

"Hey! This movie had great views and the plot is super interesting too!" Riko says as she huffed, she gripped the pillow against her chest as the woman was pathetically crawling away from the Eel monster and she rolled her eyes, even she had to admit that the monster makes up budget was crap and that the actress before this had bland acting. "At least she has a great pair of lungs."

"And tits," Mai said as she shakes the popcorn bowl in front of Riko, "Do us all a favor and get us some more popcorn. Maybe we can forgive you for picking such a shit movie." Riko rolled her eyes and grabbed the bowl, dropping the pillow as she got up.

"Can you get me another soda too?" Chisa asked, as Riko nodded as she got their empty cans as the actress began climbing up the stairs on all fours as Riko moved around her friends and towards the kitchen. She shivers as her bare feet hit the tile floor; she flicks the kitchen light on as Riko turned the stove on. She had Kuroi get them the fancy popcorn you would pop over the stove fire and shake it a bit to watch it pop.

Riko moved to the fridge and opened it, setting three new cans on the kitchen island as she listened to the light popping of the kernels. Her eyes stared at the fire as she could hear the muffled screaming of the television as more popping happened until the loud beeping of the phone, she glanced at it.

"Riko answer it!" Chisa called out from the living room as Riko rolled her eyes. She walked over to the phone just as the lights flickered a bit as her eyebrows furrowed a bit but nothing went off. She clicks the green button and holds the phone against her ear as she turns towards the popcorn slowly growing in size.

"Hello?"

"Hello, is this the Rin household?" The voice on the other end of the phone asked, Riko raised an eyebrow as she listened to the voice. Not someone she could recognize by first sound but she wondered if it was a friend or maybe even a boyfriend of Kuroi.

"I'm sorry this isn't the Rin household." Riko replies.

"Oh? I'm sorry it seems that I was given the wrong number." The man on the phone said, "Who am I speaking to?"

"This is the Kuroi household number," Riko said calmly as she shook the popcorn by the handle again as she listened to the popcorn pop inside the foil.  "Are you looking for Misato Kuroi?"

"Actually, I am but she told me that her name was Misato Rin." The man chuckles a bit, " I can understand a lady wanting to hide her identity a bit after a first date."

"OH!" Riko gasped loudly, "A date?!"

"Oi! Riko! Hurry up with the chatter!" Mai yelled from the other room, "We're going to play another movie and it's your fault if it's gross!"

"Yes, a date," The man chuckles, he likes to chuckle a lot on the phone huh? " Not too long ago, some mutual friends had set us up and we hit it off but it looks like she needs to keep some mystery alive? Dating gets so boring if there isn't any excitement and mystery."

"I can understand, a lot of boys don't do things like that anymore. All they want are....well.." Her cheeks flushed a bit but she pushed it down, "I mean you were a boy once!"

"I was a boy once." The man confirms, "Anyway before we get too much into this...where is Misato anyway?"

"She's out with her friends this fine evening, and since she is...then she let me have my friends here for some fun too! We just finished exams for the quarter and decided to have a good movie night." Riko said as she shakes the handle of the popcorn as she listened to the pop and the start of another movie on the screen in the living room. She could taste the butter on her tongue soon as her eyes glanced at the time in the microwave, 8:59 PM and she hummed absentmindedly.

"Riko! Hurry up with the soda!" Mai called out over the music of the opening credits.

"I see, you guys sound a bit young being all alone in one house." The man commented Riko huffed as the man chuckled again, "Easy, easy." He teased.

"Just because we're high schoolers doesn't mean we don't know how to kick butt! I have a yellow belt." Riko says as she held the phone between her neck and shoulders, grabbing her friend's sodas and walked to the living room as a forest scene goes on the screen. The two girls took their sodas as Riko returned to the kitchen.

"Ooh, a yellow belt," He teased as Riko huffed, he sounded like stupid Gojo! "Anyway, can you give Misato a message from me?"

"Fine, fine!" Riko huffed as she saw the popcorn file grow and took it off the burner and laid it on the counter as she pulled the plastic bowls towards her and ripped the foil open. She walked towards the fridge after dumping the popcorn into the bowls equally as she opens the marker and pressed it to the pink sticky notes on the fridge.

"You got it?" The man asked.

"Yup!"

"Alright, then write, "What's your favorite scary movie?" On it." The man says as Riko's eyebrows furrowed a bit. She slowly does as confusion mixed in her stomach, making it hurt a bit, but finished and stared at it.

"Misato doesn't really like scary movies." Riko says as she clicked the marker into it's holder.

"It's not for her stupid," The man's tone changed completely, cold and yet playful which Riko blinked a few times at the change. "What's your favorite scary movie?"

"H-Hey this isn't funny! If this is some prank-"

"What are you going to do? Throw small ass punches at me? Pft," The man scoffed with a little laugh, "Have some brain sweetheart and use it."

"I'm hanging up!" Riko declared as she hung up and slammed the phone on the connector and grumbled as she got the bowls of popcorn as she walked back into the living room only to notice the movie was on and her friends were no longer there. She glanced at the front door to see it locked and confusion filled her up. She placed the bowls down on the couch as she slowly glanced at the stairs, poking her head up and heard nothing but turned the lights on. Her dark eyes stared at the droplets on the floor, red and she took a breath.

Mai has always been a blunt girl but also a sick one too.

Chisa must be helping her with the latest nosebleed, but Riko gulped a bit as she slowly walked up her stairs. Her eyes staring at the blood droplets going up the stairs, "Chisa? Mai? Where are you guys?"

There was silence besides the noise downstairs as Riko stepped around the blood droplets, and opened Kuroi's room first but nothing. She moved to the guest room and bathroom but nothing either, she stepped out and towards her room. Riko opens it and doesn't see anyone but her window open, wind blowing the dark purple curtain as she shivers a bit before walking over. She saw nothing besides darkness and a few homes with lights flickered in their own windows or the street lights. Riko shuts her window before turning the light off and closing the door behind her as she walks out.

One last room to check, she moved to the bathroom door and opened it. There were droplets of blood on the floor, her eyes glancing at the window and she saw it leaning out the window. Riko slowly tiptoed around the puddle of blood and glanced out the window but they couldn't fit through it. It was far too small and too narrow for them and besides why didn't they use the front door or even tell her?

She shut the window and locked it, before moving back when she saw herself, then the way it was angled towards the shower, making her eyes widen in horror.

She could see her friends, the lifeless eyes as the look stared back into the mirror to meet hers. She screams loudly, twisting around and ripped the shower curtain back to see her friend's dead bodies lying on top of each other. Riko stared at them and the blood coming from their mouths and chest, multiple stab wounds that Riko could see but no knife. She clenched onto herself as she heard her heart beating loudly against her ribs.

Run! Run! Hide!

Her mind screams as she does, slamming into Kuroi's door and nearly falling down the wooden stairs, knocking down a few pictures and sliding into another wall on the last step due to her socks. She cried as she rushed to the door, fiddling with the lock as the loud ringing of the phone was heard. She stops, as she heard the phone ring loudly as she felt everything slowed down.

Wait...if he got them like that...then...where is he? outside?

Riko gulped, rubbing her eyes as she slowly walked to the kitchen where the phone was, staring at it as it rang and continued to ring.

Slowly she walked and her hands shook as she grasped the phone, slowly she answered with a little sob escaping her lips and fat tears rolling down her cheeks.

"What?" Her voice cracks

"Don't hang up." The man's voice says quickly and sharply as she hiccupped "Now...what's your favorite scary movie?

Riko shoulders shook as she let out a sob once she heard his voice.

"Hey, hey don't cry. Your two friends weren't meant to be here and so I got rid of them so we can play a game." The man says, soothingly despite the eagerness in his tone, "How about if you win the next three rounds. I'll let you go and you win?"

"You promise?" Riko sniffled a bit as she held the phone in her shaken hands.

"Pink promise." The man says, "Now, answer my questions and if you get it right then you're a few minutes closer to leaving and living."

"Why are you doing this?" She whimpers out, she had done nothing to deserve this and not her poor friends whose bodies were rotting away upstairs in her bath tub either. Riko had always been a good girl, a A student that occasionally got scolded for wearing too many hair accessories or talking too much but nothing illegal or expelled from School.

"Hush," The man laughs a bit, " Now what serial killer inspired three movies? I'll help by telling you about the movies...The Texas Chainsaw Massacre...The Slience of the Lambs and Psycho surprisingly."

"I never seen Psycho..." Riko sniffs a bit.

"Too damn bad, hurry up and answer."

Riko whimpered to herself as she paced in the kitchen, she didn't know a lot of serial killers and wasn't into true crime. She looked at the phone before remembering her personal one, and moved for it to the living room but noticed it was gone and so was the charger. Her eyes widened as she turned to the desk in the corner with her school laptop but it was gone along with her bag too. She felt horror rise up as the man's voice speaks again.

"Tick-Tock! Tick-Tock!"

"Jeffery Dahmer? Ted Bundy?" Riko asked quickly as the man laughs loudly.

"No, no~" He chuckles, "One more and really think about it."

Riko thinks as she remembers the two movies she did seen and everything with the symbolism and the way everything centered around cannibalism and flesh. Then it hits her!

"Ed Gein! Ed Gein!" She shouts tearfully.

"Good! Good!" He hummed with a little laugh, "Next Question then, What's the demon's name in The Exorcist?"

"Pazuzu, I know this one because Mai never shut up about it." She sniffed as the man laughs.

"Very good! Very Good, one more question and you're home free or well...allowed to live another day." The man says, Riko could imagine the way his lips were curving while holding the knife that killed her friends and how he was probably feeling it up.

"Who was the person you and Misato Kuroi run over two years ago?" He says Riko's heart stops as her eyes widen as her body shakes as she struggles to open her mouth. "Don't be tongue-tied...you two looked into her wallet and still didn't report her body."

"I....I..."

"I've been more than generous...way more than I should have...you have one chance for this." The man says with a chuckle, "Don't lie..."

Riko stared as she noticed that the knives in the kitchen were gone from the cooking block, and she opened the drawer to see none of the cooking utensils as the hope burned in her stomach as she whimpered as she spoke.

"I don't know what you're talking about." She squeaks out between sobs.

"Wrong answer."

[M/N] snapped his eyes open, staring at the ceiling as his back burned and hips felt like lead. He sits up in the bed before noticing the sheets and he sighs to himself. It was not his room, not the posters on the wall nor anything else. He glanced at the time on the wall, the dude's room was decked out yet clean at the same time.

8: 00 AM

He glanced to the man in his bed, back towards [M/N] and bundled up with the blanket. [M/N] gets up and stretched, wincing as he felt the sting on his back as he moved to gather up his clothes and dressed quietly. He had been left at the bar and decided to pick up a super-hot guy as his roommate was talked to by so many people last night. [M/N] felt for his phone and pulled it out to dozens of messages from his roommate and ex-boyfriend.

His class would start in another half-hour and he needed his supplies and maybe a shower if he could. [M/N] opened the bedroom door before hearing shuffling, turning his head to see the guy he slept with was still snoring way.

[M/N] left the room and noticed how fancy this dude was, but pushed it down as he wrote a note on some discarded bill paper, pressing it to the fridge with a lack magnet.

It also seems the guy took him home and decided to get an Uber home to campus.

The drive was nice and quiet, as he got to the campus and hurried through the dorm building and to his dorm. His keys jingled as he opened the door and Yuji sat up from his bed and held his robe close as he squinted at [M/N] with a frown.

"You were gone all night and you had me worried when you didn't answer." Yuji says as [M/n] grunts as he pulled his clothes off and yanked the closet doors open, "Geez, you're fucked up."

"Thanks, but anyway, you were being talked to all last night and left me alone. I met this cute guy at the bar and well...he liked me enough to take me to his home." [M/N] says as he got his clothes to change after his shower.

"Then I texted you all night because you didn't tell me you left." Yuji complained as [M/N] groans slightly.

"Whatever, when is your class?" [M/N] asked as he pretends to listen as he turned the bathroom light on and closed the door. Yuji stares with a frown on his lips but sighs as he laid back, groaning as he stared at the ceiling with furrowed eyebrows.

So much for fretting over his friend all night.
