The fourth block was English, which I had with Aero, Maren, and Della. At the end of the class, I collect my things and get ready to meet up with Della, who undoubtedly has some snarky comments to make about Reyna just walking out of the school. Instead, it's Aero who comes up to me at the end of class. "Hey," he greets. 

"Hi," I respond. I've been doing everything in my power to get Aero to like me. He's hot and nice...what more could anyone ask for? "What's up?"

 "The Spring Carnival is coming up. Did you have a date?" he questions, hand reaching behind his head to scratch his neck. 

"Did you want me to?" I play, trying to act coy by twirling a loose curl around my finger and leaning into him. 

 "Um, no, actually."

Well then I don't," I simply say. "How about you follow me home and we go to the mall to pick out outfits for the dance?" 

 Aero nods and cheerily smiles. "Sounds good." He steps to the side and makes a grand gesture towards the door. "After you."
