You arose from the couch you've been sleeping on, still a bit exhausted... you rubbed your eyes and realized...

Everybody else was gone

Y/N: "Heelllooo! Professor? Ken? Poochie?? Anyone??"

There was no response...

You decided that they might be doing experiments outside...

Y/N: "Good morn-"

Your eyes widened in terror... as you looked at the familiar sight of the ruined town... fire, lava, and debris everywhere...

Y/N: "No... No...!"

In a moment of panic you ran back inside the lab... which was now wreckage...

Y/N: "No... please no... this can't be...!"

???: "GRRRROOOOOUUUUUHHHHHH"

You ran out of the building and was met face-to-face with the monster that started it all...

Iblis...

It started charging up a fireball to launch at you from its maw, and you had no time to react... you knew this was the end...

But maybe... just maybe... in comparison... death wasn't so bad...

???: "Hey! Y/N!! Wake up!!"

You shot up from the sofa, hand on your heart, breathing heavily... you looked around and noticed the Professor and his son looking at you, concern clear on their faces...

Ken: "Hey, Y/N... you ok...?"

Y/N: "Um-"

You quickly nodded, not wanting to worry them

Y/N: "Completely fine...! Just an awful nightmare!!"

They let out a sigh of relief

Prof. Utonium: "Excellent... Just don't hesitate to tell us if you're having any problems adjusting to your new life... I bet that with your experiences... you must have a lot of trauma..."

You looked down at the ground, speaking quietly...

Y/N: "...Yeah... I might..."

You quickly shook your head, getting your mind off of those awful memories

Y/N: "Anyways... have you guys made any progress with that gem that brought me here...?"

Prof. Utonium: "Not as much as we'd like... but-"

Ken: "The energy signatures are through the roof!! It seems like its power is near limitless!! We suspect that it was the true cause of those power levels that the old guy was talking about!"

Y/N: "Huh?"

Ken: "Oh right... you were knocked out at that point... sorry, nevermind..."

Prof. Utonium: "Right... we fear that in the wrong hands... it could spell chaos for everyone"

You gulped at the idea of Iblis having one of those gems... begging for that to never happen...

Y/N: "Well... I guess that we'll have to make sure that nobody evil gets one... right?"

The two of your caretakers nodded in agreement

Prof. Utonium: "By the way... after school... we'll have each of your teammates hang out with you one by one in order to bond with them! It's good for a team to get along with each other to make sure nothing comes crumbling apart..."

Y/N: "Oh! ok!!"

You were actually pretty excited about bonding with the girls... you've never had friends before and you've always wanted to... but unfortunately... the whole "lack of any lifeforms in your timeline" thing made that just a tiiiiinnnnnnyyy bit difficult...

Ken: "Alright! Are you hungry? I can get you some breakfast"

Y/N: "Mmm... no thanks, I'm not hungry... but thank you for offering..."

Ken: "Ok then..."

You waited for school to be over... so you could have the chance to make new friends... and since you were new to this time, you had no clue what to do to pass the time, so you sat on the sofa... bored out of your mind...

Just then... the door flung open

The PowerPuffs: "We're baaack!"

Prof. Utonium: "Welcome back, girls..."

Ken: "Welcome back"

You tried to contain your excitement
