Step one: make a circle. Make a cross thing representing where the wolf's head is positioned. Draw a straight line representing the top of the muzzle. Try to base the position and angle of the line based on the cross. Mark where the eyes will be.

Step two: add the muzzle (very specific I know). Make a sharp (or smooth depending on your style) indent in the front of the muzzle to represent the lips. Make the chin semi straight down at first, but then curve back with a lot of chin fur. Add a basic oval for the nose.

Step three: add cheek fur. Make sure it's pointing either away from the wolf or straight down. Make the cheek connect and go in front of the ears. Make the ears start from the half way point in the cheek, then make sure that the ear tips are round, not sharp. Make a line parallel to the top of the muzzle line.

Step four: not much to say here. Just add outwards facing fur on the back and stomach. Then, add a fur tuft on the neck.

Step five: again, not much to say. Make line art with full opacity, erase sketch lines, add curly inner ear fur, add eyes, and random fur tufts.

Step six: add details, change things that are out of proportion, change anything that looks off.
