Stone ceiling, stone walls, weird magic animus light.  Only stories and art showed me the sun, the moons, and the stars.  I longed to feel the sun on my scales, I longed to see the moons.  

A few days ago, I turned five, so today me, a few other five-year-olds, my parents, Kitfox, and some other dragons would be going outside!  It was my first time outside and I was buzzing with excitement.  The rock walls of the tunnel dropped behind me as I was bathed in moonlight.  The moons were surrounded by stars that shone like diamonds.  I took a deep breath of fresh air, a breath that made me feel like I had been breathing through layers of cloth that had just been removed.

On my way back through the tunnels, I thought and thought, planned and planned, and tried to find a way to live and hunt and sleep under the stars every night, how to escape my stone prison and over-protective parents.
