'So.. James.. what's your status?' Scorpius asked.

'A string of meaningless one night stands.' James replied then hi-5ed Sirius.

'Are you going to Evan's party, this week..?'

'Yeah.. I guess. I mean it would be rude if I didn't go..' James shrugged it off.

'So.. you are absolutely cool with guys fawning over Evans?' Scorpius asked, an incredulous look plastered on his face.

'Totally' James smirked in a tone where there was a trace of sarcasm but in a tone of well defined truth.

'Even if some guy were to say he liked her.'

'Good for him. I would encourage that bastard.'

'Even if say, that bastard was me..?'
This attracted the attention of all the Marauders.
Including pettigrew who normally chose to not hear conversations and eat bacon.

Scorpius still couldn't figure out these guy's weird inanimate obsessions.

Remus with chocolate and suits.
Peter with bacon.
James with himself.
Sirius with his penis.

He turned back to the guys astounded faces on his asking lily out remark.

'You.. like lily?' Sirius asked as if the very notion was ridiculous.

'I guess' he shrugged.
'Since when?' James asked his eyes narrowing.

'Since I got here.. but I swear I didn't do anything-'

Remus coughed without looking up from his book.

'Its fine.' said James. 'Ask her out for all I care. She's not worth the trouble.'

'You sure?'
'As sure I ever will be.'

'Before you go.. I would like to do something..' Remus stopped him.

'Yeah?' he asked uncertainly.

Remus tapped scorpius's head five times.. a word with each tap.

'Stupid'
'As'
'Fuck?'

'Wha- Ow. What's the matter with you? Why?'
'Look at the signs. Evans, honestly, Evans?' Remus said a slightly angry tone dipped with peaceful calmess.

'What the hell are you doing?' Remus asked. 'First, McKinnon. Then, Stephens.. Now Evans?'

'What about Stephens? What has she got to do with this?'

'Everything.' he sighed.
'What?'
'Look do you really want to go after Evans?'

'I don't know.. maybe?' he said uncertainly.

Remus sighed and turned the other side, then when Scorpius least expected, he pulled his collar and dragged him aside.

'Drake, I know I you are a brotheist-'
'God not this again.' Scorpius sighed.

Remus ignored the comment.
'- but even then.. a bro must never steal a bro's-'

'I get it man.. I get it.' Scorpius walked away..

For the first time he actually began to think what he was doing..
Half a month was left before he went back..

Everything was wrong with his life.
He returned back to his dorm after not finding Zabini in the mirror in the room of requirement.

As soon as he got into his bed he fell asleep.
And lost memories circled back to him revealing all the mistakes he had done.

Flashback :

'Hey, I think I have seen you'
'Me too' the girl agreed clearly as high as scorpius.

'So, why are you sulking here? Got no invite for... black's party?'

'Nah.. What about you? What brings a hot girl like you enter my fortress of solitude?'

'There's this boy who has been making my life hell ever since I knew him..'
'Tell me about it.'
'He always annoys the crap out of me.. I used to crush on him once but then'

'And?'
'I don't know I have mixed feelings for him ever since he.. why the hell am I pouring my heart to a complete stranger.. Man, I really am drunk ain't I?'

'Yeah, you surely are. Here, take my jacket' He wrapped it around her.
'You are a nice guy, Drake..'
'I am... nice? Malfoy's have been called practically anything.. arrogant, stubborn, idiot, romantic, stupid, clever, genius - you name it ... but nice?'

She just smiled.
Watching her smile, Scorpius's heart skipped a beat.
'Let me walk you to your dorm. You need some sleep.'

'I think I am in love with you.'
'I love you too.'

Scorpius woke up drenched in sweat. His clock told it was five in the evening meaning.. he had missed classes.

But he had other things to worry about.

He raced down the corridor other flashbacks coming to him now and then.

'This is horrible.' Scorpius muttered.
'Yeah.. Wait.. the kiss or the situation?'
'The situation. That was one heck of a kiss.'
'Why do we end up drunk together everytime?'

'Everytime?'
She smiled but didn't explain.

At that time Scorpius had ignored that statement.. but now it ringed in his ears.

All the things had come into picture..
And he just knew what he had to do..

He had fallen in love with an angel. Only to realize that the angel was not who he thought she was..

He raced down and crashed open the door.

'Evans?'
