Scott and Mitch have finally decided to open up their backyard pool!

The older four Grassi-Hoying kids have been begging Scott and Mitch everyday to open the pool up sooner, but Mitch and Scott wanted to wait a little while longer.

The weather has been a little crazy in California lately and Scott and Mitch wanted the weather to be nice and warm when they open up the pool!

For the past few days, Scott has been very busy cleaning up and getting the pool all ready to go for lots of swimming fun!

Right now, Scott is cleaning the leaves out of the pool and is making sure the chlorine levels are perfect, so the kids can get in and have some pool fun today!

Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia are all sitting patiently by the sliding glass window, waiting for Scott to be finished with the pool.

Mitch is currently in the kitchen cleaning up from making the kids lunches earlier and is currently having a snack.

"Daddy, is Papa done with the pool yet?" Isabella asks Mitch.

"Yeah! Is Papa done?" Sawyer asks Mitch.

"The pool is almost done! Papa is just making sure that the chlorine levels are high enough and that the pool is all clean! Then you all can go in the pool and swim!" Mitch says to Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia.

"Yay!" Amelia, Sawyer, Isabella and Sophia say in unison happily.

Scott walks over to the sliding glass door and opens it, peeking his head in the house.

"Papa!" Amelia says with a cheeky grin.

"Hi, Papa!" Sophia, Sawyer and Isabella say in unison as they all look up and smile at Scott.

"Hey! What are you four doing?" Scott asks Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia.

"Nothing!" Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer say in unison as they giggle at Scott.

"Who is ready to go swimming?" Scott asks the kids with a big smile.

"Me! Me! Me! Me!" Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all say in unison as they cheer happily.

"Me too! Me too!" Hudson says as he runs over to the kitchen.

"Finally! I am so ready to swim!" Liam says as he walks into the kitchen to grab a drink from the refrigerator.

"The pool is all ready to go now!" Scott says as he walks into the house and walks over to Mitch.

Scott then kisses Mitch's cheek and rubs Mitch's lower back, making Mitch smile.

"Can we get in our swimsuits on now, Daddy?" Sophia asks Mitch and Scott.

"Yes! Go ahead, guys! Hey Sophia, can you help Amelia put her swimsuit on?" Mitch asks Sophia.

"Yes, Daddy!" Sophia says as she, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all run upstairs to get their swimsuits on!

Hudson and Liam already have their swimsuits on and they are ready to go swimming! Mitch and Scott also have their swimsuits on!

"Hey Hudson and Liam, make sure you put some sunscreen on! The sun is out bright today." Scott says to his older sons.

Hudson and Liam both go outside and use the spray sunscreen that Mitch and Scott got for -all of the kids. Hudson sprays Liam with the sunscreen and then Liam sprays Hudson with the sunscreen.

Mitch finishes cleaning up the kitchen while Scott rubs Mitch's lower back some more.

*Mitch and Scott's swimsuits*

"Thank you for the back rub, Scotty. My back has been killing me today." Mitch says to Scott.

"You're welcome! You need to just relax. That's why your back is hurting, babe." Scott says as he softly kisses Mitch's shoulder.

"Yeah, I have been on the move all day. Maybe the pool will help me relax some." Mitch says as he softly kisses Scott.

"I'm sure it will. And this swimsuit looks really hot on your, babe. So freaking hot." Scott says, making Mitch's cheeks blush.

"Aww, thank you! You look great in your swimsuit too, babe!" Mitch says as Scott smiles at him.

"Thank you, Mitchy!" Scott says as he kisses Mitch again.

Hudson opens up the sliding glass door and peeks his head in the house.

"Hey, Daddy and Papa! Can Liam and I get in the pool now?" Hudson asks Mitch and Scott.

"No, you guys need to wait until all of us are outside. I don't want any of you guys in the pool unattended." Mitch says as Liam groans loudly behind Hudson.

"Okay! I can wait, Daddy and Papa!" Hudson says to Mitch and Scott as he shuts the sliding glass door.

Scott then walks to the sliding glass door and opens it back up, peeking his head outside.

"Hey Liam. Liam." Scott says as Liam looks up at him.

"Dad and I just want all of you to be safe in the pool, that's all. Dad and I know that you and Hudson can swim, but we just want all of you to be watched just in case something happens. Anything can happen. Your sisters and brother are almost ready to swim. I promise." Scott says to an annoyed Liam.

"Okay, Papa. I understand." Liam says as he plays with his hair.

Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia then walk down the steps all in their swimsuits!

"Okay guys, let's go outside and get some sunscreen on!" Mitch says to Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia.

"Yay!" Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all day in unison as they cheer happily.

Mitch, Scott, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all walk outside together!

Scott and Mitch then help Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia put their sunscreen on!

"Hey Sawyer, do you want your floaties on?" Mitch asks Sawyer.

"Yes, Daddy!" Sawyer says to Mitch.

"Okay! Come here! I'll help you put them on!" Mitch says as Sawyer runs over to Mitch.

Mitch then helps Sawyer put his floaties on his arms!

"Amelia, let me put your floaties on baby! I am going to teach you how to swim today!" Scott says to Amelia.

"Yay!" Amelia says with a big smile.

"You are going to have so much fun!" Scott says, kissing Amelia's cheeks as he fixes Amelia's floaties on her arms.

"Okay! You guys can get in the pool!" Scott says as he gets in the pool.

Liam dives head first into the pool just like the Olympians do.

"Liam Richard! Don't do that! That was so scary to me!" Mitch says to Liam.

"Dad, I'm fine!" Liam says as he begins to swim around the pool.

"Liam wants to act like an Olympian over here." Scott says jokingly with Liam.

"Do you wanna do swimming too Liam?" Mitch asks Liam.

"Maybe! But I do three sports already." Liam says as he dunks his head under to keep his head cool.

"Is the water cold?" Mitch asks Scott and Liam.

"No, It feels really good!" Liam says as he continues to swim around.

"It feels really nice, babe!" Scott says happily to Mitch.

"Let's jump in together!" Hudson says to Sophia and Isabella.

"Yes!" Sophia and Isabella say in unison.

Hudson, Sophia and Isabella all stand together and hold each other's hands.

"Okay! One! Two! Three!" Hudson says as he, Sophia and Isabella all jump in the pool together!

"It is so cold!" Sophia says as she shivers a little.

"It is so cold! Oh my gosh!" Hudson says as he also shivers.

"Cold!" Isabella says as she giggles and shivers.

"You all will get used to it!" Scott says to Hudson, Isabella and Sophia.

Mitch sits down and puts his feet in the pool.

"Ooo, the water feels really nice!" Mitch says to the kids as he splashes his feet in the water.

"Sawyer, do you wanna jump in the pool too? I'll catch you!" Scott asks Sawyer as he swims to the edge.

"Yes, Papa!" Sawyer says to Scott with a big cheeky grin.

"Okay! Are you ready?" Scott asks Sawyer.

"Yes!" Sawyer says happily to Scott.

"Okay! One! Two! Three!" Scott says as Sawyer jumps in the pool and Scott catches him.

"Woah! Was that fun?" Scott asks Sawyer as Sawyer swims next to him.

"Yes!" Sawyer says with a big cheeky smile.

Sawyer then begins to swim around with Isabella, Sophia, Hudson and Liam.

"Amelia! Come here, baby!" Scott says as Amelia walks over to the edge of the pool.

"Sit down next to Daddy and I'll pick you up. Okay?" Scott says to Amelia.

"Okay, Papa!" Amelia says as she sits down next to Mitch.

Amelia then puts her feet in the water just like Mitch.

"Ooo, does the water feel good, Amelia?" Mitch asks Amelia.

"Yes!" Amelia says, happily kicking her feet in the water.

"Okay baby, I'm going to pick you up now. I won't let you go until you are ready to swim next to me." Scott says as he picks up Amelia and Amelia holds onto him.

Scott begins to swim around as Amelia smiles at him.

"Weeee!" Amelia says to Scott and Scott smiles at her.

"Woohoo, baby! Awesome job!" Mitch says to Amelia and Amelia smiles at him.

Scott then twirls around in the pool, making Amelia giggle loudly.

"Daddy! Jump in! Jump in!" Sawyer says as he swims around in his floaties.

"No, I just wanna put my feet in the water right now. And I can't jump in! I have a baby in my belly, silly boy." Mitch says to Sawyer as he rubs his baby bump.

Sawyer giggles loudly and smiles at Mitch as he continues to swim around.

"The baby will drown if Daddy gets in the pool with us!" Isabella says to Sawyer.

"No uh!" Sawyer says to Isabella.

"Uh huh!" Isabella says to Sawyer.

"No, the baby won't drown if I go swimming! Issy, baby Joel has fluid that is around him in my belly right now. This fluid helps him learn how to breathe in my belly. Then once Joel is born, he will be able to breathe the air like we do! And he won't drown if I go swimming, my belly is protecting him." Mitch explains to Isabella.

"Ohhh!" Isabella says to Mitch.

"Yeah, baby Joel is perfectly fine if I go swimming, Issy." Mitch says to Isabella.

"Daddy, Papa, can we go on the slide?" Sophia asks Mitch and Scott.

"Sure! But one at a time!" Scott says as Liam, Sophia, Sawyer, Isabella and Hudson swim out of the pool and run over to the slide.

"One at a time guys!" Mitch says to Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer.

One at a time, Hudson, Isabella, Sawyer, Liam and Sophia slide down the slide happily.

Scott holds Amelia's hands as he teaches her how to swim.

"Kick your legs, baby! Kick kick kick kick! Good girl, Amelia! Good girl!" Scott says as Amelia floats around in her floaties.

"Awesome job, Amelia! Woohoo!" Mitch says as he cheers Amelia on.

"Good girl, Amelia! Do you wanna go on the slide now?" Scott asks Amelia.

"Yeah, Papa!" Amelia says with a big smile.

"Okay, let's go!" Scott says as he and Amelia swim over to the slide.

Scott then takes Amelia on the slide and slides down with her!

"Weeeee!" Amelia says, clapping her hands happily.

"Was that fun, Amelia?" Scott asks Amelia as he fixes her hair.

"Yes!" Amelia says with a big smile as she hugs Scott.

Mitch then gets in the pool and begins to swim around with the kids.

"Daddy is swimming!" Sophia says with a cheeky grin.

"Yay!" Sawyer and Amelia say in unison.

"The water makes me feel like a skinny legend." Mitch says as he floats on his back.

Scott giggles and smiles at Mitch.

"They say swimming while pregnant is good for you." Scott says as he kisses Mitch.

"It feels good! It feels good on my back." Mitch says as he continues to float around.

"Let's see who can hold their breath the longest." Liam says to Hudson.

"Let's do it!" Hudson says to Liam.

"Ready? One! Two! Three! Go!" Liam says as he and Hudson go under water.

Liam and Hudson hold their breath and Liam ultimately wins the challenge.

"I won!" Liam says as Hudson giggles loudly.

After a few hours of swimming, Scott, Mitch and the kids spent the rest of the day together today as a family! :)
