"Are you excited for today, Liam?" Mitch asks Liam as he watches Liam drive, making sure he is driving well.

"Yeah, but I'm a little nervous." Liam says softly to Mitch and Mitch smiles.

"It is very normal to be nervous! And if you don't get it today, that's okay! You can always try again! It took me two tries to get my license!" Mitch says to Liam.

"What about, Papa?" Liam asks Mitch curiously.

"I think he got it on his first try but I'll have to ask him!" Mitch says as Liam giggles.

"That's shocking." Liam says with some sass causing Mitch to laugh loudly.

Today, Liam is going to attempt to get his driver's license! After waiting three months for his appointment, today is finally the day!

Liam has been practicing his driving just about everyday with either Scott or Mitch for the past nine months and he is ready to try to get his license!

Tagging along with Liam and Mitch today is Joel and Bridger. Joel and Gabriella's preschool is closed due to a bad stomach bug outbreak (thankfully Joel and Gabriella didn't get it). Scott is currently home with Gabriella and Luna while Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia are in school!

Bridger has been really clingy with Mitch over the last few days so Mitch decided to bring him along. He is only two and half months old and will probably sleep the whole time.

Joel didn't want to stay home with Scott so Mitch decided he can come along too but Mitch asked Liam's permission first and Liam doesn't mind at all!

Liam is currently driving his car, a 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport SL, a car that Mitch and Scott got for Liam a few weeks ago.

Liam has been working at Target ever since he turned sixteen and has been saving money to help pay for car insurance and gas.

Mitch and Scott bought Liam the car without him knowing and it was a big surprise! Mitch and Scott will help Liam with the car insurance and car repairs but Liam will pay for part of the car insurance and gas.

After a fifteen minute drive to the Motor Vehicle Administration, Mitch, Bridger and Joel and Liam go inside to sign in before lining up to wait for the test to start.

"Looks like Liam might have it, Joel!" Mitch says as he and Joel watch Liam take his driving test on the course.

"Yay! Baby BB! Wook!" Joel says to Mitch and Bridger.

"Baby Bridger is asleep right now! But we can tell him all about it once he wakes up!" Mitch says to Joel.

Mitch then looks up and sees Liam driving over to him with the biggest smile on his face. Liam parks the car and gets out to talk to Mitch.

"I passed!" Liam says as he cheers loudly.

"Woohoo! Congratulations! Can I have a hug or is that too embarrassing?" Mitch says to Liam and Liam gives Mitch a big hug.

"I'm so proud of you!" Mitch says to Liam, causing Liam to smile.

"Thank you." Liam says happily.

"Yay, Liam! Yay!" Joel cheers loudly as he hugs Liam's legs.

"Thank you, Joel!" Liam says to Joel.

"Bridger says congrats too but he is finally asleep! We all need to get in the car and park before we go inside!" Mitch says to Liam and Joel.

Mitch, Liam, Joel and Bridger all get in the car and park it before they all head into the Department of Motor Vehicles to fill out paperwork and for Liam to get his drivers license picture taken!

Bridger, Mitch, Joel and Liam all sit down and patiently wait for Liam's number to be called.

Bridger is happily sitting in Mitch's arms while Joel sits in between Mitch and Liam. Liam is happily texting all of his friends, telling them he passed his driving test.

"Daddy!" Joel says, getting out of his seat and twirls around happily.

"Yes, baby?" Mitch says with a grin at Joel.

"I run around!" Joel says with excitement.

"No, we can't run around in here, okay? Do you wanna watch Bluey or Miss Rachel while we wait?" Mitch says, redirecting Joel's attention to something else.

"Miss Rachel!" Joel says as he flaps his arms happily.

Mitch puts an episode of Miss Rachel on his phone for Joel while Liam looks in the stroller and smiles at Bridger, who is fast asleep.

"Bridger is asleep." Liam says softly, looking at his littlest brother.

"He is knocked out! I was feeding him and chasing Joel at the same time while you did your test." Mitch says as Liam laughs.

After twenty minutes of waiting, it is now Liam's turn to be seen!

Mitch, Liam, Joel and Bridger all walk over to the little kiosk. Liam is pushing Bridger's stroller while Mitch holds Joel's hand.

"Hello!" The worker says with a cheeky grin at Liam. 

"Hi." Liam says softly.

"Hello!" Mitch says with a smile.

"Hiii!" Joel yells as he waves at the worker, causing her to smile.

"Congratulations on getting your driver's license today! You are the second person today thus far!" The worker says to Liam.

"Thank you." Liam says softly as Joel climbs into his lap and hugs his big brother.

"My name is Hannah and I'll be helping you getting all of the information for your license and for your car registration." Hannah says to Liam.

Mitch hands Hannah all of the car information first to get it out of the way.

"So your name is Liam Richard Grassi-Hoying. Your birthday is April 14th and you are almost seventeen." Hannah says and Liam confirms the information.

"Yeah, my parents are kinda famous." Liam says playfully and Mitch rolls his eyes.

"He says that to everyone!" Mitch says as he blushes in embarrassment a little bit.

"I knew the last name sounded familiar! Pentatonix?" Hannah asks and Mitch nods.

"Yes! Myself and my husband Scott are in Pentatonix." Mitch explains to Hannah.

"Love you guys! My brother is a huge fan, he is so excited for the tour!" Hannah says happily.

"We all are!" Mitch says happily.

"Okay, let's get this information on your license! How much do you weigh?" Hannah asks Liam.

"One sixty eight." Liam says as Joel sings to himself.

"Joel, shhh." Mitch whispers to Joel.

"And your height?" Hannah asks Liam.

"Six five." Liam says with a grin.

"Oh my goodness!" Hannah says as Liam giggles.

"He's taller than both my husband and I at this point!" Mitch says playfully and Hannah laughs.

"I'm sure you get asked this a lot but do you play basketball?" Hannah asks Liam and Liam smirks.

"No, I don't play basketball. I love to watch basketball but that's not my sport." Liam explains to Hannah.

"What sports do you play?" Hannah asks Liam, typing in some information on her computer.

"I play soccer, lacrosse, flag football and hockey." Liam says proudly, loving the sports he plays.

"Would you like to be an organ donor?" Hannah asks Liam and Liam nods.

"Yes, please." Liam says, causing Mitch to feel proud that Liam wants to save a life.

"Okay! Just sign right here and then I'll take your picture!" Hannah says to Liam.

"Joel, come here! Liam has to get his picture taken!" Mitch says to Joel, hoping the three year old listens.

"Okay!" Joel says, sliding off of Liam's lap and walking over to Mitch.

Liam gets his picture taken and he gets his license on paper form, the one he will use before his license comes in the mail.

Mitch gives Hannah a few autographs before he, Liam, Bridger and Joel leave!

After leaving the Motor Vehicle Administration, Mitch, Liam, Joel and Bridger go out to lunch before heading back home! :)
