September 1st

The beginning of this newest Superfruit YouTube video starts with Mitch sitting on the couch as he fixes Gabriella's hair. Gabriella is standing in front of Mitch, playing with Mitch's hole in his jeans on his knee.

Scott is off camera, trying to figure out how to work their new tripod they just bought to film things with Pentatonix and for their own solo music.

Mitch is still making music for his Messer project and Scott is also finally working on some solo music, something he has been wanting to do for years but put off due to his and Mitch's busy schedules.

Mitch and Scott are finding lots of success in their solo careers as well as their careers with Pentatonix. Mitch and Scott are both still in Pentatonix, writing new songs, singing covers, making albums and planning a tour sometime next year!

"Dada, Wook!" Gabriella says as she watches the six cats all climb on the cat tower.

"I see that! Are the kitties arguing with each other over on where to take their naps?" Mitch asks Gabriella as he fixes her little pony tail.

"Ya! No nap me, Dada!" Gabriella says with a big grin as Mitch giggles.

"No nap for you? Hmm, maybe!" Mitch says as Gabriella giggles.

Mitch knows Gabriella will want to take her nap soon because he knows the almost two year old very well. However, you never know when your child turns two because they change a lot!

Scott then walks over to Mitch and Gabriella, causing Gabriella's face to light up. Gabriella is very much a Papa's girl but she is also a Daddy's girl since she is the youngest child - well youngest for now.

Mitch is currently five and half months pregnant with Baby Grassi-Hoying #9, who is due in mid December.

Mitch and Scott were clearly not planning on having another child because they both said Gabriella was going to be their last and they both were planning on using permanent birth control methods. However, those plans didn't go through.

However, Mitch and Scott are both very happy and excited to welcome another addition to their family.

Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia, Joel and even Gabriella are all excited to have a new baby brother or sister on the way.

"Pa pa! Pa pa!" Gabriella says happily, running over to Scott and hugs his long skinny legs tightly,

"Hi, baby girl! Daddy made your hair look so so pretty! I love it!" Scott says as he picks up Gabriella and holds her close.

"Me too!" Gabriella says, giving Scott a kiss and Scott gives Gabriella a kiss too.

"Can I have a kiss too, Gabby?" Mitch asks Gabriella, wanting a kiss.

"Uh huh!" Gabriella says with a big smile at Mitch.

Scott puts Gabriella down and Gabriella walks back over to Mitch, giving him two kisses. Mitch gives Gabriella a few kisses on her cheeks, causing Gabriella to giggle and smile.

"Thank you for the kisses! Papa and I have to do some work, okay? You and Joel are going to play in the playroom. I want you and Joel to be good and once Papa and I are finished, we can all go to the park! How does that sound?" Mitch says to Gabriella and Gabriella smiles and she gets giddy.

"Ya, park fun!" Gabriella says as she claps her hands.

As soon as the Mitch says the word "park" Joel runs into the living room mid coloring session.

"PARK! I wanna go to the park, Daddy and Papa!" Joel says to Mitch and Scott.

"When Daddy and I are finished doing a work thing we will all go to the park together. You and Gabby have to be patient, okay? And you two have to be good and play nicely together." Scott explains to Joel and to Gabriella.

"Okay, Papa and Daddy!" Joel says with a cheeky grin.

"Otay Pa pa and Dada!" Gabriella says with a cheeky grin as well.

Mitch and Scott both give Joel and Gabriella lots of kisses, hugs and tickles before Scott takes the two toddlers to the playroom to play and be distracted while Mitch and Scott film and post this YouTube video.

Scott makes sure Joel and Gabriella are both settled in the playroom and get the baby monitor on and ready just in case Joel and Gabriella need them.

"Ready to film this YouTube video, babe?" Scott asks Mitch as he smiles at his glowing husband.

"I am! I am a little rusty at this vlogging and YouTube thing but I think it will be really fun to get back into it as well as continuing making content for Instagram." Mitch says to Scott and Scott nods in agreement.

"Me too! We should film more videos for memories for ourselves and for our fans too! The fans, our families and even all of us love the videos and pictures. But we should mainly do the videos for us. Joel and Gabriella don't have many videos on our channel!" Scott says with a chuckle and Mitch chuckles as well.

"They don't, but we can definitely change that because we filmed a lot of videos of them but just didn't have time to edit and post them. And we also have a new baby on the way to film and make lots of memories with." Mitch says, rubbing his small but noticeable baby bump.

"We sure do!" Scott says as he smiles at Mitch and rubs Mitch's baby bump, feeling the baby kick and move around inside of Mitch.

"Do you feel the baby, Scotty? The baby has been kicking and moving around a lot lately, especially today." Mitch says with a giggle and smile.

"I do! Little one is a wiggle worm today! Papa loves you, Baby Grassi-Hoying. We need a cute nickname for you since we aren't finding out if you are a boy or a girl until you are born." Scott says with a geeky grin and Mitch smiles too.

"We do need to think of a nickname for the baby. We could have a fun discussion with all of the kids when the six older ones come home from school later." Mitch says to Scott.

"Good idea! Let's get the camera situated and we can finally start this video!" Scott says with a giggle and Mitch smiles.

Scott gets the vlogging camera situated on the tripod before he sits down next to Mitch and kisses him a few times.

"I love you." Scott mouths to Mitch and Mitch smiles.

"Love you too." Mitch mouths back to Scott.

Scott then turns the vlogging camera on and he and Mitch both look at each other, causing the both of them to laugh loudly at their awkwardness in front of the vlogging camera.

Mitch and Scott then do the Superfruit YouTube channel intro, something they haven't done in a very long time.

Mitch and Scott haven't done a sit down video for their Superfruit channel since right before Christmas. However, they have been posting small vlogs and video clips of the kids and themselves on the channel and on their Instagram accounts for everyone to see and for them to keep as memories.

Mitch and Scott first give updates on themselves, about their day to day lives, their solo music and Pentatonix.

Mitch and Scott then give a small update on all of the Grassi-Hoying pets. The dogs - Daisy, Lucy, Tux and Bubba, the cats - Wyatt, Ollie, Luther, Olivier, Nino and Dahlia and the rabbits - Winter and Snow! All of the pets are doing well and are happy and healthy!

After the updates about themselves and the pets, Mitch and Scott each give an update on their eight children - Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia, Joel and Gabriella!

Liam is sixteen and is in eleventh grade. Liam loves his girlfriend Willow, his friends, clothes, and sports. Liam has his learners permit and is planning to get his license sometime in October. Liam is on the varsity soccer, varsity flag football, varsity lacrosse and varsity hockey teams.

Hudson is thirteen and is in eighth grade. Hudson loves makeup, art, fashion, his boyfriend Addison and friends. Hudson is on the middle school cheerleading squad as well as the middle school drama club!

Sophia is almost eleven and is in sixth grade. Sophia loves makeup, fashion, video games, performing in plays and is also a tomboy! Sophia is in the middle school drama club and she plans to try a sport or instrument!

Isabella is nine and is in fourth grade. Isabella is following in her big sister's Sophia's steps by having the same interests as her except Isabella loves anything STEM related! Isabella just joined the elementary school's drama club and can't wait to be in her first play!

Sawyer is about to be eight and is in third grade. Sawyer loves typical boy things but he also loves to cook and make art just like Hudson. Sawyer plays soccer and baseball as well as learning how to play the piano just like Scott.

Amelia is six and is in first grade. Amelia is a Daddy and Papa's girl and is very spoiled since she was the youngest for the longest. Amelia loves animals, always finding animals outside to help and even tries to sneak them in to take care of them. Amelia loves music and dance! Amelia has been in ballet for a few years and loves it! Amelia also wants to try gymnastics or a sport too!

Joel just turned three and is in pre-k three. He is our rambunctious little dude. He loves his cars, making a mess and cuddling!

Gabriella is almost two, her birthday being in two weeks and she is in her first year of school ever - pre-k 2. Gabriella loves talking, dancing and cuddling!

"Now the news and update you all came to hear." Scott says pointing to Mitch's baby bump and he pats it softly, causing Mitch to smile.

"Baby Grassi-Hoying #9 is happily growing and is very healthy! This pregnancy has been really rough with horrific morning sickness and some bleeding, but thankfully everything has calmed down and the pregnancy has been smooth ever since. This is one reason why we didn't announce it until now, because we truly didn't know what was going to happen. I am so thankful that the baby and I are both healthy and doing well." Mitch says, rubbing his tiny baby bump proudly

"Yeah, Mitchy was soooo sick you guys. He could barely eat anything or even get out of bed. It was a rough few months! Mitch always had morning sickness but this was the worst morning sickness ever." Scott says to the camera.

"Seriously, worst morning sickness ever. I was hospitalized two times due to dehydration. I was almost put on medicine to help stop it but thankfully it stopped on it's own. I still struggle with nausea but nothing like it was. I was nauseous a lot with Joel and Gabriella too." Mitch says and Scott nods.

"Mitch also never had bleeding in his pregnancies so that really scared us when it happened. Thankfully, it was just a small hematoma thingy." Scott says as Mitch laughs loudly.

"It's called a subchorionic hematoma, Scotty." Mitch says with a giggle and Scott giggles back.

"Yeah, a subchorionic hematoma. Anyway, they happen a lot in pregnancies. Sometimes they cause problems and sometimes they don't. Thankfully, Mitch's hematoma didn't cause any issues except for Mitch being on bed rest a few weeks so it could absorb or disappear, I don't know what they do. Clearly I don't know medical terms like this." Scott says as he laughs and facepalms.

"Usually your body absorbs it or it comes out I think. Either way, it's all gone and I'm thankful that the baby is perfectly fine." Mitch says as Scott rubs Mitch's baby bump.

"This baby will be the last one, we promise! I'm going to be an adult and get a vasectomy because clearly my sperm is magic and untied Mitchy's tubes." Scott says as he and Mitch both laugh.

"I didn't have them tied again after Joel was born because I thought I was going to take birth control after my six weeks of being postpartum but a few months later I became pregnant with Gabby." Mitch says as Scott smiles.

"Well, clearly Mitch and I have a great marriage and sex life because we keep getting pregnant." Scott says as he busts out laughing.

"Scott Richard! You are a freaking mess." Mitch says, as Scott laughs some more.

"But it's true!" Scott says with a smile before he and Mitch kiss each other.

"Right before Gabriella was born, I told all of you that I was going to get a hysterectomy. I came to that decision because I've had eight children, eight c-sections and that's a lot on someone's body, especially mine since I am a small framed person. Also, I was done having children, our family was complete and didn't want anymore surprises to happen because I know I couldn't have gone through an abortion. I am very pro choice, however I'm not sure if I would go through an abortion if the child is healthy and my body could handle it. Carrier men often struggle even more than women do to get pregnant, so I am very grateful to have eight incredible children. One out of eight couples struggle getting pregnant. One out of four carrier men struggle getting pregnant. Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia, Joel, Gabriella and this baby are Scott and I's world. We will do anything and everything for them." Mitch says and Scott nods in agreement.

Joel and Gabriella are heard laughing loudly in the background as they play in the playroom.

"Joel and Gabby are playing in the playroom if you can hear them. Thankfully they aren't arguing." Scott says as he and Mitch both laugh.

"Back to what I was saying before the little kids interrupted!" Mitch says playfully and Scott chuckles.

"So last minute, I decided to not get a hysterectomy. I came to this decision not because I wanted more children but because if you remove all of your reproductive organs, you go right into menopause. It's super quick and to be quite frank, I am too young to be going into menopause! Yes, I'm way older than I was when I first started having children, but I still have another ten, fifteen maybe twenty years before hitting menopause normally. So, my doctor and I both decided to tie my tubes again and to remove one of my ovaries because it had a huge cyst in it that caused me pain during my pregnancies with Joel and Gabriella. Thankfully, it wasn't cancer but just a big ovarian cyst. I know tying my tubes didn't work because Joel and Gabriella exist, but I didn't want to fry them or remove them. I just wanted everything left alone for the time being. I know I lied online about it and I apologize for that." Mitch says to the camera and Scott nods in agreement.

"And I support Mitch's decisions 100% because this is his body and I want him to do what's best for him and his health." Scott says as he rubs Mitch's baby bump again.

"So my plan for birth control was either an IUD or the pill. Two months after Gabriella was born, I started taking birth control pills and they worked fine but I just didn't like the side effects. I tried several kinds and I didn't like how any of them made me feel so I moved onto an IUD." Mitch says.

"Meanwhile, I was trying to get another vasectomy but due to covid, they weren't doing the procedure unless it was absolutely necessary. And yes, another vasectomy because the other one I did after Joel was born failed." Scott says to the camera.

"Scott is a bad patient and didn't go back to the three month checkup afterwards and Gabriella happened." Mitch says as he giggles.

"I really hate doctor appointments and we got busy! And I can't imagine our family without Gabby." Scott says to Mitch and Mitch nods.

"Me either! Gabby makes it perfect. Anyway, the waitlist to get a vasectomy is super long, especially now since Roe was overturned. So Scott and I talked about it and we agreed on me having and IUD and we just use condoms while having sex.

"And we have been using condoms religiously! And we usually don't." Scott says as he chuckles.

"We have been really careful with condoms but it looks like we weren't one night." Mitch says, rubbing his baby bump and smiling.

"I'm sorry." Scott says with a pout.

"It's not your fault! Two make a baby! One night we probably just were in the moment and forgot or it broke. It happens. That's why we need to get a vasectomy and a hysterectomy!" Mitch says as Scott laughs loudly.

"So after the huge shock of finding out we were having another baby and the first few months of pregnancy being rough and scary, everything has been smooth and great for Mitch. I worry so much about Mitch when he is pregnant and I feel like my worry has been tripled." Scott says.

"Scott is extremely protective to me always but when I'm pregnant it's heightened. He always makes sure I'm okay and get everything I need. He is the best husband." Mitch says as he kisses Scott and Scott kisses Mitch back.

"I'm so protective of everyone I love, I've always been like that." Scott says as Mitch nods in agreement.

"The first few months of this pregnancy were really rough, probably the roughest out of all of the pregnancies, but now that it's getting better day by day, I am excited for this new addition to our family." Mitch says to the camera.

"I'm soooo excited. We gotta buy all of the baby things again because we gave a lot of the baby things we had to friends or family." Scott says as he chuckles loudly.

"It's fun though! I love buying baby things. Soph, Issy, Huddy and Amelia have been helping me pick out clothes!" Mitch says with a grin.

"Sawyer wants to help me with the crib and I told him we can do it together. Joel just wants to play with the tools I have." Scott says as he and Mitch both laugh.

"But everyone is so excited and we can't wait to welcome baby Bridger or Luna into our family!" Mitch says with a smile.

"Bridger Scott or Luna Snow! Those are the names we have picked." Scott says as Mitch nods in agreement.

"Bridger has been a name I've loved forever and Luna is a name that Scott has loved forever." Mitch says proudly and Scott nods.

"I'm just so excited it makes me so impatient on what we are having but want to find out when Bridger or Luna is born." Scott says proudly.

"Well that's the big announcement! Baby Grassi-Hoying #9 is coming and we can't wait! In other news, in a few weeks I have a live show for Messer! October 12th! Link is in my bio on both my Instagram account and the Messer Instagram account! I'll probably be sitting the majority of the show, but I'm excited to do it!" Mitch says with a cheeky grin.

"My song Mars I also out now if you wanna check it out. I really worked hard on it and I love seeing all of your comments about it! I'm glad it's a hit." Scott says happily to the camera.

Mitch and Scott talk about a few more things before ending the vlog just how they ended their old Superfruit videos back in the day.

After finishing the vlog, Scott and Mitch take Joel and Gabriella to the park before Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia come home from school.

For the rest of the day, Mitch, Scott, Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia, Joel and Gabriella all hang out as a family :)
