Today is St. Patrick's Day!

Scott, Mitch, Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia and Joel are all in Texas for the spring break holiday!

The six older kids - Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia are off school for the entire week, so Scott and Mitch have both decided that they will all take a family trip to Texas to spend much needed time with their family members and to tell everyone about the new baby that is on the way!

So last night, Scott, Mitch, Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia and Joel all flew from California to Texas for their week long Texas vacation!

All of the kids are very excited to see their family members and they are excited to be on vacation!

Today is a very BIG day for the Grassi-Hoying family!

Today, both Scott and Mitch are going to tell all of their family members that Baby Grassi-Hoying #8 is on the way!

Mitch is feeling pretty good during this pregnancy! Not much morning sickness at all but he is tired which is expected having seven children to raise and a career but other then that, Mitch feels great!

Mitch and Scott just got some very cute ultrasound pictures of the new baby right before they left to fly to Texas!

Right now, Scott, Mitch and all of the kids are loading up in the car and getting ready for the half hour drive to Mitch's parents Nel and Mike's house!

Mitch and the kids are all in the car, patiently waiting for Scott to get into the car. Scott is still getting ready to go inside their Airbnb!

*Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia and Joel's outfits*

"Daddy, is Papa ready to go yet?" Sophia asks Mitch with a big smile.

"Yeah! Is Papa ready to go?" Isabella asks Mitch as she giggles and fixes her boots.

"I am bored, Daddy!" Sawyer says as he giggles and smiles at Mitch and his siblings.

"Me too!" Amelia says as she giggles loudly and smiles ear to ear!

"Amelia, do you even know what bored means?" Hudson asks Amelia playfully as he smiles at her.

"Ya! Bored means bored!" Amelia says making Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Mitch all laugh and smile.

"Almost! He is finishing up getting ready in the house and then we can go to Mom Mom and Poppy's house!" Mitch says to Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia.

"YAY!" Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all say in unison to Mitch with big smiles.

"Hey Liam, are you doing good back there?" Mitch asks Liam as he smiles at him.

"Yup!" Liam says as he begins to listen to his music happily in the back seat.

"And what about you, mister Joel! Are you good?" Mitch says in a babyfied voice as he tickles Joel's feet, making Joel giggle and smile.

"Ba ba ba ba!" Joel says with a big smile at Mitch.

"Aww! I see those teeth you have!" Mitch says to Joel in a babyfied voice. 

Scott happily walks out of the Airbnb, causing Hudson Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia and Joel to all cheer happily.

"There is Papa, guys!" Mitch says with a big cheeky grin.

Scott happily gets into the drivers seat and kisses Mitch a few times.

"Hi, baby." Mitch says softly to Scott with a cheeky grin.

"Hey, babe!" Scott says to Mitch with a big smile, making Mitch giggle and smile.

"Are you ready, babe?" Scott asks Mitch as he holds Mitch's hand and then rubs his tiny baby bump.

"I am ready! And the kids are ready too!" Mitch says as he holds Scott's hand.

"Is everybody ready to head to Mom Mom and Poppy's house and see everyone?" Scott asks Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia and Joel.

"Ba ba ba ba!" Joel says happily to Scott.

"Yup." Liam says as he happily texts Willow.

"YES!" Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all say in unison to Scott with big smiles on their faces.

"Okay! Let's go!" Scott says causing everybody to cheer and smile.

Scott, Mitch, Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia and Joel all load up in the car and they head to Mitch's parents Mike and Nel's house to meet up with everyone!

After a thirty five minute drive, Scott, Mitch, Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia and Joel have all made it to Mike and Nel's house!

"We are here at Mom Mom and Poppy's house!" Mitch says happily to the kids as he smiles at the seven of them.

"YAY!" Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all say in unison to Mitch with big smiles.

"Ba ba ba ba ba ba!" Joel says with a big grin as he plays with his socks happily.

"Woohoo." Liam says with sarcasm as he yawns and fixes his hair.

"Okay! Let's all go in and see everyone!" Scott says as he gets out of the car and then he unbuckles Joel out of his car seat!

Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all happily get out of the car and so does Mitch.

"Who wants to ring the doorbell?" Mitch asks all of the kids as he puts his jacket on, to cover up his shirt.

"ME!" Sophia says with a big smile as she raises her hand happily.

"Okay, Soph! You can ring the door bell!" Scott says to Sophia with a big smile as he hands Joel to Mitch.

"Yay!" Sophia says as she, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia and Hudson all run up to the front door.

"Walk to door, guys! Don't run!" Mitch says to Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia.

Scott, Liam, Mitch, Joel, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all walk up to the front door and Sophia rings the door bell.

A few seconds later, Nel and Mike both open up the front door!

"Come on in!" Mike says to Scott, Mitch, Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia and Joel as they all walk into the house!

"Hi, Mom Mom and Poppy!" Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all say in unison with big smiles on their faces.

"Hello, sweeties! Oh, I am so glad that you guys are here to visit us this week!" Nel says happily to Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia.

"Hey, kiddos! It is so good to see all of you!" Mike says as he smiles ear to ear at Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia.

One by one, Nel and Mike all happily hug and kiss Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia.

Connie and Rick then happily walk over to Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia!

"Hey guys! Hey!" Rick says to Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia and Joel with a big grin.

"Hey, cutie pies! It is so good to see you all today!" Connie says to Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia and Joel with a big smile.

"Hi, Nana and Grampy!" Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all say in unison with big smiles on their faces.

One by one, Connie and Rick all happily hug and kiss Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia.

"Ba ba ba ba ba!" Joel says as he smiles up at Connie and Rick.

"Hi, Joel!" Connie and Rick both say with big grins and they both kiss Joel, making him giggle and smile.

After greeting their grandparents, Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all happily greet Lindsay, Ryan, Zach, Archer, Naomi, Lauren, Robert, Landon, Beckham, Jessa, Jared, Ady, Asa and Kiya with hug and kisses.

Mitch and Scott then hug and kiss Nel, Mike, Connie, Rick, Jessa, Jared, Lindsay, Ryan, Lauren and Robert!

Mitch and Scott both sit on the couch with Nel, Mike, Connie, Rick, Jessa, Jared, Lindsay, Ryan, Lauren and Robert while Ady, Liam, Asa, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Zach, Sawyer, Landon, Kiya, Amelia and Archer all play.

After an hour and a half of the kids playing and all of the adults talking, Mitch and Scott finally think it is time to share the baby news!

Lindsay is holding baby Naomi in her arms while Beckham is playing with blocks near Lauren and Mitch has Joel happily sitting on his lap.

Mitch and Scott both look at each other and they both wink, telling each other they are ready to tell everyone the exciting baby news.

"Ba ba ba ba!" Joel says as he happily plays with Mitch's long gray cardigan that is hiding his St. Patrick's Day pregnancy shirt.

"Don't mess up my new cardigan, baby boy! Papa just bought this for me." Mitch says as he kisses Joel's cheek and Joel giggles loudly at him.

"That is a very nice cardigan, Mitch! It looks so soft looking too!" Connie says to Mitch with a big grin.

"It is soft and very comfy! I have been cold lately so this cardigan has kept me really warm! Scott bought it for me." Mitch says with a big smile, making everybody awe.

"Scott always spoils you rotten, Mitch! It is so sweet to see!" Nel says making Mitch and Scott both smile and giggle at everyone.

"He does and I love it." Mitch says as he playfully pinches Scott's cheek and Scott giggles at him.

"I love to spoil Mitch." Scott says as he tenderly kisses Mitchs cheek, making Mitch blush and everybody awe.

Joel babbles happily as he continues to play with Mitch's cardigan making everyone giggle and smile.

"Joel is so stinking cute!" Jessa says to Mitch and Scott.

"He sure is! He is getting so freaking big! I can't believe how big he got since Christmas!" Lindsay says to everyone.

"He sure is! He looks just like Mitch but I see some of Scott in him!" Lauren says as he smiles at everyone and as Beckham hands her some blocks to play with making her giggle.

"He is Daddy's twin that's for sure! But he acts stubborn just like me." Scott says to everyone, making them all giggle loudly.

"I can't believe he is seven months old already! He is such a little miracle from God." Connie says with a big smile.

"Oh, he sure is! Such a little joy!" Nel says with a big grin.

"Joel is such a precious edition to the family just like Naomi is! Little babies are so much fun to have around!" Rick says to everyone.

"All of the grandchildren are just blessings! All of them are growing up so fast too!" Mike says to everyone.

"Naomi has grown up so much since she was born! I can't believe it!" Ryan says as he rubs Naomi's head proudly.

Lindsay then hands Naomi to Ryan to hold for a little while.

"She has grown a lot! She is is a cutie pie." Robert says with a big smile as he sits Beckham on his lap.

Mitch and Scott then look at each other and they begin to giggle at each other before getting it together and they smile at everyone.

"Hey, Joelly! Let's show everyone your fun shirt you have on today! Let's show everyone your awesome shirt we got you!" Mitch says in a babyfied voice at Joel as he stands Joel up in his lap.

"Ba ba ba ba ba ba!" Joel says as he giggles loudly and smiles at everyone.

Joel kicks his legs and giggles making everybody awe and smile at him.

"Stay still, buddy! Stay still! Let everybody see your cute shirt!" Scott says to Joel as Joel giggles at him.

"What does Joel's cute little shirt say? I can't read it!" Connie asks out loud as she tries to read Joel's t-shirt but Joel keeps wiggling around happily.

"Yeah! What does it say? I can't read it! Joel is a wiggle worm!" Nel asks Scott and Mitch as she tries to figure it out.

Jessa, Lauren and Lindsay all finally read Joel's t-shirt and they all instantly figure it out, making Mitch and Scott both smile and giggle.

Jessa, Lauren and Lindsay all begin to scream and the three of them get very excited at the news!

"OH MY GOSH!" Jessa says as she claps her hands and cheers happily.

"ARE YOU TWO FREAKING SERIOUS?" Lindsay asks both Mitch and Scott as they both giggle.

"YAY! I AM SO EXCITED!" Lauren says as she jumps up and down and Beckham giggles happily at his mama.

Then, Jared, Ryan and Robert all figure it out and they all smile at Mitch and Scott.

"Awesome, guys!" Robert says with a big grin at Mitch and Scott.

"Wow!" Ryan says happily to Mitch and Scott.

"This is a big shocker!" Jared says playfully to Mitch and Scott.

Mitch and Scott both happily giggle at their sisters and brother-in-laws!

"I can't figure it out!" Connie says out of frustration.

"Me either! This sucks!" Nel says to Connie.

"I think I know what's going on but I don't wanna say the wrong thing and look dumb!" Rick says as he chuckles.

"I am really lost to be honest!" Mike says as he also chuckles.

Mitch happily hands Joel to Scott to hold and he fixes his t-shirt.

"Let me help you all out then!" Mitch says to Connie, Nel, Rick and Mike with a big smile as Scott happily watches on.

"Ba ba ba ba!" Joel says with a big smile at Mitch and Scott.

Mitch then stands up, takes his cardigan off and he begins to show off his t-shirt. Scott then rubs Mitch's tiny baby bump proudly.

Connie and Nel both scream happily as they hug each other tightly.

"Oh my goodness! Another little one on the way!" Mike says happily to Mitch and Scott.

"Oh, I knew it! How amazing!" Rick says as he chuckles and smiles at Scott and Mitch.

"Surprise!" Scott and Mitch both say in unison to everyone with big smiles on their faces.

"How did this freaking happen! I thought Scott has a vasectomy! Or did he lie to all of us?" Lauren asks as she smirks at her little brother.

"No, he had one! I was there, trust me! It just didn't work!" Mitch says as he laughs loudly.

"I was a really bad patient and didn't go to my follow up appointment. Amelia was sick that day and I just assumed it worked!" Scott says to everyone as he face palms.

"You don't assume things, Scott!" Connie says playfully to Scott as she giggles at him.

"Seriously! Most vasectomies don't work anyway so you have to do it again!" Lindsay says playfully to Scott making Scott feel embarrassed a little.

"When are you due! When are you due, Mitch?" Jessa asks Scott and Mitch.

"September 30th! But I'll probably deliver a few weeks earlier like Joel was." Mitch says to everyone.

"Irish twins! How exciting!" Rick says as he chuckles and smiles.

"Congrats!" Jared, Ryan and Robert all say in unison with big cheeky smiles at their brother-in-laws.

"So this wasn't planned?" Nel asks Mitch and Scott

"Hell no!" Scott and Mitch both say in unison making everybody laugh loudly.

"Definitely not! I was really shocked when I came home from tour and found out at the doctor's office that I was pregnant! But Scott and I are really excited." Mitch says happily.

"It is really exciting. But don't worry, Mitch is going to be monitored closely just like last time! He and baby are both doing wonderful." Scott says to everyone.

"Oh, I am so excited boys!" Connie says as she cheers and cries.

"Me too! This is so amazing!" Nel says as she cries happy tears.

"Naomi will have a playmate born the same year as her!" Lindsay says as she cheers happily.

"Joel seems really excited! Aww!" Lauren says as Joel giggles and smiles happily.

"All of the kids are excited! Liam wasn't at first but he came around like last time." Scott says as Mitch smiles and nods in agreement.

"Is will this be the last one? Like the last one?" Mike asks Scott and Mitch playfully.

"Oh yeah! I am getting a hysterectomy." Mitch says to everyone.

"And I am getting another vasectomy." Scott says to everyone.

"We will all fly in and help like we did last time!" Rick says as he, Mike, Connie and Nel all agree.

"We will appreciate that, dad!" Scott says to Rick with smile.

"We will definitely appreciate that!" Mitch says with a big grin.

"I hope you guys have a girl! Four boys and four girls!" Lauren says with excitement.

"Aw, yes! Amelia needs a baby sister!" Lindsay says as she fixes Naomi's hair bow.

"I think it's another boy but Scott swears it's a girl." Mitch says as he giggles loudly.

"A little boy would be fun too! Joel could have a playmate close to his age!" Jessa says as she smiles.

"Joel plays with anyone though! But he loves playing with the girls and their toys! He always has tea parties with them," Scott says as he and everyone else giggles loudly.

"I am so excited! We need to celebrate!" Connie says as she cheers.

"Yes! We definitely do!" Nel says as she claps her hands happily.

Mike and Rick happily chuckle at their wives and smile at Mitch and Scott.

For the rest of the day, Mitch, Scott, Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia and Joel all had a wonderful day with their whole family!

I am getting a hysterectomy and Scott will have another vasectomy, so no more surprise babies from us! We can't wait to meet this little miracle! 💚"
