40 years ago the world was changed. How? Well because 40 years ago the human race discovered a new mineral. A mineral that seemed to glow like stars. This new mineral-which scientists and geologist began to call Starsite due to it's glow-was found of being capable of creating a type of clean energy that can power an entire country for god knows how long.

Though with the discovery of Starsite something happened. The universe seemed to have been disturbed in some way and a strange energy that scientists haven't been able to identify from outer space hit around the entire planet. That energy created a whole new type of human being. The Scions. Scions are humans that have unique abilities such as summoning weapons, having enhanced physical prowess, etc. But the most notable ability of the Scions is their ability to transform. Scions are capable of changing their physical appearance and gain high-tech armor as well as wings. These transformations allow them to not only fly but to fight powerful enemies. Such as monsters that were spontaneously created by the same energy that gave Scions their power. Now-4 decades after they were created-Scions are now protectors of the planet in the Scion Army.

The sun was rising and pouring into the window of a young black haired boy still in bed. But just as he was sinking deeper into his pillow a woman with a VERY large chest barged into the room. "Shio I hope you're not sleeping in especially today of all days!" The woman said. Her breasts jiggled. "C'mon Vereidia what's so important about today that I can't sleep in?" The boy named Shio groaned sleepily. "Oh I don't know maybe it's the fact that today is your first day at the Scion Academy," The woman named Vereidia said with another jiggle of her breasts. Shio's blue eyes widened and he immediately got himself out of bed. "What?! I gotta get ready!" He exclaimed rushing to his closet. "Agreed. I have breakfast on the table. So you better hurry if you don't want to late and if you want a ride," Vereidia said glaring her green eyes in Shio's direction. She flipped her blonde hair and jiggled her breasts one last time before leaving the room to let Shio get ready.

Shio had gotten ready, eaten breakfast, and hitched a ride with Vereidia. Who was currently transformed into her Scion form and carrying Shio on her back. 

While transformed Vereidia's hair was put into a long ponytail and had turned emerald green, her eyes were a pinkish purple, her clothes had turned into VERY exposing white and green high-tech body armor, and she had gained pink wings. 

"You know if I wasn't your legal guardian I would drop you and let you go splat because of how annoying your habits are," Vereidia said. "C'mon you know you love me Vereidia. Besides I can't transform yet so you're my only ride to school," Shio said. Vereidia sighed as she flew. "We're almost there. So I don't expect you to be seen until after school," She said. "Thanks Vereidia," Shio said. Vereidia said nothing. She dropped Shio off and flew away.

Shio looked around at all the new faces. He'd never seen so many people in one place before. It was so amazing to him. Though he was looking for one specific person. "Luminous! Hey!" Shio exclaimed spotting his childhood friend. Luminous looked over at Shio with her long purple hair flowing behind her. "Shio!" She exclaimed. Luminous ran over to her friend and hugged him. "I heard from my sister that you'd gotten in. I'm so happy. Maybe we'll even be in the same class," She said. "Yeah isn't it exciting? We're finally here. At Prime Scion Academy. America's Scion training facility. Soon we'll be among the greats just like we've always dreamed," Shio said. Luminous chuckled and nodded.

The students were led inside the school and were met with a line of the staff. "Greeting new students of Prime Scion Academy. Welcome to the beginning of your journey to becoming great Scions that will lead us into the future. But know that this journey won't be easy. It will be hard and full of peril. But let's be honest this is a school. The greatest peril you need to worry about are your grades. I'm joking of course. But where are my manners? Allow me to introduce myself. I am Vereidia. Headmistress of this academy as well as this country's Goddess ranking Scion," Vereidia said walking out from a nearby hallway and standing in the center of the line of staff. As Vereidia finished a woman with long black pigtails stepped forward. "And I am Madam Minister Raveness. Instructor of Red Class. In my class we will not just be studying from books we will be getting up close experience with Scion scenarios. If you are put in my class you will address me as Madam Minster. Not Professor, Prof, Teacher, Teach, Doctor, Doc, et cetera," The woman said. The other teachers of the different classes introduced themselves. 

Shio got himself familiar with their colors. There was a Green Class, a Blue Class, a Yellow Class, a Violet Class, and the Red Class that Raveness teaches. "Which class do you think we'll be placed in?" Luminous asked Shio. "I'm hoping for any class that isn't Red Class. Madam Minister seems stricter than an Asian parent and that's saying something," Shio replied. Luminous chuckled. "Allow me to introduce how you will all be put into your classes. On your uniforms there's a badge with the school crest. That badge when activated by me will change color. The color it changes to will be the color of your class," Vereidia explained while taking out a small remote. Shio looked at his badge wondering what class he'll be put in. He hoped Vereidia was generous and put him and Luminous in the same class. Vereidia pushed a button on her remote and the badges changed color. Shio looked at his and saw his badge had turned red. He was in Red Class. "Just my luck," Shio said. "Well at least we're in the same class," Luminous said. Shio looked at the purple haired girl and saw that her badge had turned red as well. "Well one good thing came out of this I guess," Shio said.

The students went with their teachers to their classrooms. With Red Class going with Raveness.

When Red Class arrived at their classroom Raveness told the students to sit down wherever they please. She would make an assigned seating chart later. "Now! Pop quiz!" Raveness exclaimed. A few students groaned. "If you want to graduate and join the army you'd better cut the attitude! Now this pop quiz is just one simple question. If you don't answer correctly I will happily declare you stupid and possibly tell Madam Goddess Vereidia that you're not ready to become official Scions," Raveness said. The students who were groaning hushed up. "Good. Now here's the question for this pop quiz: Who in here is a Scion?" Raveness said flipping one of her pigtails behind her. Everyone was confused. One student raised their hand. "Yes you," Raveness said calling on the student. "U-um all of us?" The student said anxiously. "INCORRECT!" Raveness said slamming her hand on her desk. Shio had an idea of an answer and raised his hand. "Yes. You," Raveness said calling on Shio. "You. The answer is you Madam Minister. Whilst we all may be Scions biologically you're the only one of us here that's had the correct training and is part of the Scion Army. So the answer to the question is Madam Minister Raveness," Shio said. Everyone looked at Shio in shock. Except for two students. A girl with brown hair who wasn't phased by Shio's answer and a boy with blonde hair who didn't seem to care. "Correct. Very good young man. You have potential," Raveness said. She actually knew very well who Shio was but acted like she didn't as to not have other students think he had an unfair advantage. 

"Now you all may thank your classmate for the answer. We now will move on to Scion Army rankings. You may already know what these are but i'll give you a refresher. There are many rankings in the Scion Army. Those rankings being: Soldier the lowest of the ranks for the newbies, Captains for Soldiers who prove their worth to lead a squadron, Ministers-such as myself-which are known for their solo missions but the promotion to Minister is quite rare, Administrators the male Scions in charge of a country's branch of the Scion Army, and finally Goddesses the female Scions in charge of a country's branch of the army," Raveness said, "But for each country there can be only one Administrator and one Goddess. Failure to comply by that globally accepted regulation will be recognized as an act of rebellion and may result in war". Shio couldn't help but take notes. He knew this stuff already but he wanted to make sure people wouldn't take him as some smart-ass. Because he wasn't. Raveness continued to teach going in-depth about what each rank of the Scion Army did to make sure everyone understood what they do not just what their about. After finishing up that lesson Raveness moved on. "If you would all follow me," She said. Raveness walked out of the room with her students behind her.

Red Class followed Raveness all the way to an arena behind the school. "Welcome students to the Prime Scion Academy Training Arena. What do you assume the reason I brought you out here is?" Raveness said. Nobody had a clue. Not even Shio. Luminous raised her hand. "Yes you," Raveness said. "Well I heard about this from my sister from when she was a student here but I don't know if it's still right but......you brought us out here to learn about Transformation," Luminous said. Raveness seemed to recognize Luminous. Or more importantly her looks inherited from her family. "Correct. I brought you all out here to learn about Transformation. But before we begin. Young lady. You're a member of the Spectral family correct?" Raveness said. Luminous nodded. "I suspected as much. You're family is quite the powerful Scion bloodline. I'm honored to have you in my class. Now back to the lesson," Raveness said. Luminous blushed as she noticed everyone looking at her. But she stood tall and waved kindly. Shio smiled. 

He remembered how shy Luminous was in their childhood but then in middle school she transformed for the first time and all that shyness and anxiety seemed to vanish. Shio was proud of his friend and always supported her from that day on. 

"Now you all know what transformation is and how to do it," Raveness started. Shio looked down a bit knowing how he can't transform. Luminous held her friend's hand. Her blue eyes sparkling. Shio held Luminous's hand back and smiled. 

"But how it works is much different than you think. When you transform not only does you appearance change but your covered in an invisible, multilayer shielding material we call Prism Status. When transformed your Prism Status can only take a certain amount of damage before reaching critical and forcing you to change back into your human form to recharge your energy. Only once energy is recharged can you transform again," Raveness said continuing her lecture on Transformation, "And when transformed your powers are increased. Especially your weaponing summoning power. It's not increased in the way you can make more than one weapon. Instead it's increased by giving you a special weapon that deals more damage then the weapons you can summon in base form. Which definitely help you with higher level monsters. Such as Fossiled Dragons. But those we'll cover in a later lesson. Now let me help demonstrate transformation as well as how to wield it easily,".

Raveness was enveloped in a red aura with a hexagonal pattern. When she emerged from the aura her hair was snow white and still in pigtails. Her clothes turned into grey and black high tech body armor and had red wings.

Raveness summoned a high tech lance and gripped it tight. "Students please sit in the stands. Then we'll start the simulation," She said. The students all sat in the stands-Shio and Luminous sitting next to each other-and watched their teacher fly to the center of the arena. "Begin simulation!" Raveness exclaimed. A simulation of a Fossiled Dragon appeared. "Whoa she's gonna fight a Fossiled Dragon for a demonstration? Hardcore," Luminous said. "That makes sense," A female voice said. Luminous and Shio looked over and saw a girl with brown hair. Yes the same girl from the classroom. "Oh hello. We didn't see you there," Shio said. "Obviously. I'm Kaitry," The girl said. "I'm Luminous," Luminous said. "Shio," Shio said. Kaitry nodded. "Now what was that you were saying about a Fossiled Dragon as a demonstration from Madam Minister making sense?" Luminous asked. "Well I've done research on every staff member here at Prime. And I read that Madam Minister once faced three Fossiled Dragons at once and survived," Kaitry said. Shio and Luminous looked at Raveness as she attacked the Fossiled Dragon simulation. "Definitely hardcore," Shio said. Luminous nodded. "If you think that's impressive you should hear what the Madam Goddess has accomplished," Kaitry said. Shio looked at Kaitry. He'd never asked Vereidia about what she'd done as a Scion before taking him into her care. 

"Tricolor Tempest!" Raveness called out her special move. She hit the Fossiled Dragon simulation and it was destroyed. The students all started clapping and cheering. Raveness landed in front of them and changed back to normal. "Yes yes I know. I'm amazing. Now HUSH!" She exclaimed. The students quieted down. "Thank you. Now all of you return to the classroom and wait for me there. I have to clear the computer," Raveness said. The students filed out of the stands to head back to the classroom. Shio hurried down and walked in Raveness's direction. "Shio where are you going?" Luminous asked with Kaitry next to her. "I'm just gonna ask Madam Minister something. I'll see you back at the classroom," Shio said. "Okay. Just hurry back. Please," Luminous said. Shio smiled and gave a friendly salute before heading towards Raveness. Luminous and Kaitry went back to the classroom with the others.

"Madam Minister!" Shio called to Raveness. Raveness turned to Shio. "Oh hello. I thought I told you and your classmates to go back to the classroom," She said. Shio nodded. "You did. I just wanted to ask you something," He said. Raveness sighed and said "Fine. What is it?". "Well I was just wondering. And this is merely a hypothetical obviously. But......what if a Scion knows they're a Scion but can't transform?" Shio said. Raveness was surprised at the question. She thought about it for a minute or two. "Well it's very rare but it's most likely the Scion putting a limiter on their heart," Raveness said. "A limiter?" Shio asked. "Merely a metaphor. It means that the Scion has a personal fear that they need to face that's causing them to be physically incapable of transforming," Raveness said. Shio nodded. "Why did you feel the need to ask this question young man?" Raveness asked. "Just curious that's all. Well i'm off back to the classroom. Bye," Shio said. He ran off to the classroom thinking about what Raveness said. "A personal fear I need to face. Or i'll never transform," Shio said, "But what is my fear?".
