Hoseok had gotten Taehyung a cup of apple juice, and now they were seated on his couch, Taehyung sat right beside Hoseok. Kookie was stuffed under his arm, the leg still burnt and ruined. His leg was only mere materiel due to not much fluff left in the limb. Taehyung held Hoseok's hand, looking for reassurance. He did not care anymore, he was not mad at the boy anymore. He would most likely forgive him.
"Do you feel better now, baby?" Hoseok asked, a hand going into Taehyung's hair, threading through it. He noticed the horrible flinch Taehyung had. It tore his heart to see his baby scared at him. Taehyung only nodded weakly.
"Y-yes hyung." He answered wearily. His eyes were puffy from crying, his nose tinted red, a snotty mess running to his upper lip. His chin was wet from his own tears. "I feel lots better." He lied, that's all he did. He hated himself for it. He sobbed quietly as he felt Hoseok's hand run up and down his back, trying to comfort him.
"Hyung?" Taehyung inquired faintly, his hand squeezing the one intertwined with his. "When are we g-going back to Jungkookie? I had fun and a-all but I miss my J-Jungkookie a lot-" he sounded desperate, his hand suffocating Hoseok's.
"Baby, Jungkook never wanted to keep you. Why do you keep thinking of him so much? I am here now to protect you forever, okay? You won't need to see Jungkook anymore, okay?" He gave a sweet smile towards the little, who seemed very disappointed.
"O-oh okay.. Jungkookie did not want me?" He looked up at Hoseok with hopeful eyes hopeful that he was just lying. That Jungkook did really want him to stay, he did actually like him.
"Of course not baby. Why would he want to get rid of you so quickly?" Hoseok tsked, moving a piece of hair behind Taehyung's ear. "You are such a mess, let's clean you up, yeah?"
"O-okay Hyung."

Jungkook sat in the hospital waiting room, his head in his hands. He had received a call that Jae had a stroke in the middle of the night. He, of course drove to the hospital as soon as he could, only disappointed to know that he was not allowed into Jae's room. He was still calming down from the stroke. Doctors did inform him that Jae was requesting to see Jungkook.
Jungkook painfully stared at a clock. It had been half an hour. He watched the second hand tick by. He could not imagine losing Jae. He was the only thing that he could remember from his regular family home. Nice dinners and laughing at jokes, before his dad got cancer. He loved those years, and now he was just struggling with rent, and cancer treatments, which were not cheap. Luckily, his father left in his will, his life savings to Jungkook. Jungkook immediately knew how to spend it; on Jae.
"Jeon Jungkook? Jae is awake and ready to see you." The doctor walked out, a small smile on his lips. He neared the boy, sighing as he helped him from the chair and walking him down the hall toward Jae's room.
"Jungkook! Finally you are here. I'm scared Kook." Jae poked his head up at his brother's arrival. Jungkook stepped forward and hugged the boy softly, not tightly to make him lose his breath. "Kooks, I don't wanna go." Jae said blankly. "I don't wanna die staring at this blank white wall, watching cartoons on the tiny television. I wanna die with my family, Kook. What do I do?"
Jungkook gulped, rubbing Jae's, now more balding head. "I don't know buddy, I don't know."
"Mr. Jeon. May I speak with you?" The nurse peeped into the room. Jungkook nodded, following her outside and leaning against the wall, waiting to hear what she had to say.
"We are going to need to relocate Jae. Our hospital is losing money, less patients. We have to shut down. I hope you can find better treatment for Jae, here. We need to do it
quickly as well. If Jae is off medicine for too long, the virus may spread completely."
