The next night, Deion, Xavier, and Kholi are in the movie theater to see the film, "Everything Everywhere All at Once," without popcorn as they buy their drink. Right before the movie ends, Deion tells them to go to the diner later.

After the film, they hung out in the diner, cheering with a milkshake cup.

Xavier: What's the next step for sophomore year?

Kholi: *sighs* That's tough. I think we should do the same old shit. Same old, same old.

Deion: Do you realize you would make us move to the big way throughout the school?

Kholi: That was the deal.

Deion: *drinks the milkshake*

Kholi: I would have a deal on my own. If my family wanted me to become a babysitter, I was like, hell no.

Xavier: Why would your parents let you do that?

Kholi: I don't know. It could be anybody, cause my sister would.

Deion: On my behalf, we mostly hung out this summer.

Boys: True.

Deion: I'm not particularly eager to lose out of my marbles.

The next day, the students gather outside the high school, playing soccer on the field. Maggie sits on the ground, doing her stretches, and Xavier walks over to her.

Xavier: *sits on the grass*

Maggie: Are you tired too?

Xavier: Just a little bit.

Maggie: I've never done kicking in this damn ball.

Xavier: Almost hit in my eye, but I caught it; I was the one the luckiest son of a bitch.

Maggie: *hearing*

Xavier: Have you got any experience in school so far? Are you graduating soon?

Maggie: I've started in this high school.

Xavier: God, same. Because god knows when I am making the way to start focusing.

Maggie: For the fresh start, I have already done the same. I know this shit is about to end very soon; I always love spending time with the family throughout the summer, except for the boring.

Xavier: Good for you. *laying on the grass*

Maggie: *looks at him*

Xavier: *sees Brooke goes over to Maggie confronting*

Brooke and Maggie: *confronting each other*

During the cafeteria, Zoe walks into Alice's classroom to take another lesson for her assignment and sees her, Tobias, and Alan.

Zoe: What is going on? I thought we agreed to be alone, just the two of us.

Alice: We are. I had another student to cover up; he had a few solutions.

Zoe: *goes over to the desk*

Alan: *looks at her*

Alice: I know you were in control of your anger; I am here to help both of you make everything right.

Tobias: All of you, good luck; I've got to teach the next class to catch up. *leaving*

Alan: *looks at Zoe*

Zoe: I'm not catching any break at all.

Alan: *hearing*

Alice: Relax and breathe for a second.

Alan: *keeps writing*

The next day, Alice relaxed on the bench in the park while reading the book, whether the outside turned regular cloudy without rain.

Tobias arrived at the park to quietly pull out the phone and take a picture to share on social media. He goes over to the bench and notices Alice.

Alice: *still reading* I've heard your wife passed, turning 3rd anniversary on the same day.

Tobias: Yeah, my life was utterly wasted and hanging upside down.

Alice: *hearing*

Tobias: It's not the end of the world. I have taught those kids ever since I came to school after my wife's passing. These things are changing.

Alice: Who would it be choosing yourself?

Tobias: I chose this school because that is what my career needs.

Alice: *hearing*

Tobias: I wouldn't fail in any sense; I don't want to lose everything in my power. Do you want to be honest with me? You did.

Alice: I have known you for three years. Time after time, you would step up to the game. It's so full of potential.

Tobias: I figured it that.

Alice: In the next two years, it will be your fifth anniversary of becoming MVP for your teacher.

Tobias: *looks at her*
