Chapter 5
Michelle's POV
"But Lemons are yellow! You made these lemon cookies blue!" Marriot complained loudly.
"I don't care. As long as they taste good." April shot back.
"But they're blue!" Marriot's eyes were wide with distress. "Lemons are yellow!"
"Don't matter much." April waved her hand dismissively.
"They have to be yellow. They at least could have been green."
"Guys shush." I complained.
"But they are blue." Marriot turned to me.
"It doesn't matter." April's friend, I think her name was Julia, spoke.
"See!" April said triumphantly.
"But to be fair, people would expect blueberry if they ate blue cookies." I added.
"I told you you should have made yellow lemon cookies!" Marriot cried.
"Ok just, shush. Doesn't matter." Julia shook her head.
Marriot frowned as if she was still fretting about blue cookies.
"But-"
"Shush! Mr Dampton's here." I popped back over to my seat.
As Mr Damptons droned on and on about angles, I flicked my diary to today's page and wrote;
Mr Dampton is so boring. I wish we had a different teacher.
Something hit me on the back of the head.
Something hit me on the back of the head. Bye.
I turned. Does Jack sit behind me in every class? He glanced down at his textbook when I glanced over.
I picked up the peice of paper.
You have a diary?
I hate you Jack.
