It was 1965 and the boys and their girls all decided to go to the Ad Lib for drinks. They sat at their private table as usual and ordered what they wanted. The only thing that was unusual was the way that Ringo was acting. He was very jumpy and when anyone tried to talk to him he was distant or unresponsive. Finally he got up from the table to go get something from his car. When he walked back in he looked absolutely terrified.

He sat down beside Maureen and whispered something in her ear. She then got up with a puzzled look on her face and followed Ringo to the patio. Everyone watched through the glass window as Ringo took her hands in both of his.

"Maureen, you know that I really love you don't you?" He said as he looked into her eyes, the moon shining to the side of them.

"Yes, Ritchie, I love you too." She said smiling at him.

"Well I know that there could never be another girl for me but you, so I want to give you something really special." 

With this he got down on one knee and grabbed a black box from inside his jacket and opened it to reveal a stunning diamond ring. Maureen started to cry as she knew what words he was about to say.

"Maureen, would you be my bride?" 

"Yes, Ritchie, I love you." She said with a curtain of happy tears streaming down her face.

The group at the table started to clap as they came back in and all congratulated the happy couple. They bought some champagne and celebrated all night long. In the end of their little party they went home and skipped their recording session the following morning. 

Now everyone was happy and life was 100% perfect. Even George was happy, although it stung him just a little bit because he had once been head over heels for Maureen, but overall life was perfect.
