Emerald had a note out that she was writing to her friend, Bailey, in Math and Mrs.Pope saw this. She told her to put it up. But, Emerald claimed that it was not a note but a little reminder about her homework. "Really?" "Really, Mrs.Pope," Emerald said. "Then give it to me," Mrs.Pope said. Thinking that Mrs.Pope wouldn't read it, Emerald gave it to her. Then, Mrs.Pope began to read it out loud. The note was NOT about homework but instead something about Instagram and coloring things. When she was finished reading it, Mrs.Pope turned to Emerald and said "What the heck does that have to do with your homework?!" Emerald quickly thought of an excuse and said "We have to memorize a conversation in Theatre!" But we all knew that was a lie.
