In Health, we had a free writing session and one of the topics we had to write about was "If you were a medical professional what disease/condition would you cure?" When we were sharing, I volunteered to share. So, I said that I would cure progeria. "What's that?" A girl named Ellie asked. "A disease we learned about in Medical Detectives," another girl named Teresa said. I continued speaking, and I decided to explain what progeria was (Note: Do NOT quote me on this. I'm not sure if it's right :/ ) "Progeria," I began, "is when a baby's head doesn't really fully develop..." That's when the entire class erupted into laughter. "Why is that funny?" I heard Coach Jevlin ask. I just sit at my desk, trying not to laugh since it's easy for me to laugh when tons of people are laughing. "Why?" I murmur, "just why?"
