Chapter fourteen: Definition of Evil

Chapter fourteen:
Donatello "Donnie" Hamato
Class: Mutant, Ninja
Powers: None, Genius Intellect, Skilled Ninja
Dimension: Earth 3

Why call it Villain High?

Why not something else, like the School of the Mislead?

Wouldn't that be nicer?

And wouldn't it make the students feel less.....bad?

Mind you, I tried to avoid them as much as I could. Raph already picked a fight with some wizard kids (Slytherins I think they were called), and Mikey was bullied by some kids who called themselves "The Brotherhood of Mutants". Not a good thing.

I was smart enough to avoid them, and I think they avoided Leo because they knew that he would either

A. Kick their sorry shells.

B. Kick their sorry shells

Or

C. Kick their sorry shells and report them to the headmasters.

"Don! Donnie!!" I looked at Sam. Hank and Sam had been my friends since day four. We originally were the only students with only three people in our dorm, however this year we got a kid named Hiro Hamada.

Not gonna lie, he kinda annoyed me.

"What?" I hissed, trying to make sure Pepper didn't catch us talking. Word around the school was the Avengers were facing some worldly threat. Only SHIELD really knew for sure, and they weren't talking. Not even Falcon (Sam) knew what was going on, and he was an Avenger. And, not to happy he was left behind.

"Don't you think there's something a little off about JARVIS?" I thought for a moment. JARVIS claimed to be having some technical problems, through when I asked if I should take a look (having hacked JARVIS already once), he quickly said no, saying he'd rather wait for Stark.

Not Mister Stark.

Stark.

"Like he said, he's having some problems right now. I bet it's the magic in the air messing with the connection again." Hiro said, popping his head in between us. I gave him an annoyed look.

"Who asked you?!" I snapped, as the bell rang. Hiro gave me an annoyed look, similar to the one I gave him.

"Jerk." Sam rolled his eyes.

"Play nice you two." He muttered. I rolled my eyes, grabbing my Bo staff and my bag, heading for the door.

"You know, I bet Donnie's jealous because everyone knows I'm smarter than him!" Hiro bragged, loud enough for me to hear. I growled.

"And I think he's mad because soon he's not gonna be Doctor Richards favorite student anymore!! I'm clearly going to take his place because of how smart I am!!" Spinning around, letting the blade slide out of my Bo, I pointed it at Hiro.

"Do everyone here a favor and STOP TALKING!!" Sam stepped in front of him.

"Come on Donnie. We're gonna be late for Skill Class." I huffed and stormed out, Sam following behind me.

"What exactly did Hiro do to make you so mad?" He asked.

"He's so annoying!! He always acts like he's sooooo great, just because the world likes him as a hero!! Not to mention because he has Baymax, which isn't even his!! It's his brother's!!" Sam rolled his eyes.

"Just loosen up. He's not that bad."

"Yes he is!!" I snapped. Sam rolled his eyes and pushed me into the classroom. I glared at him, sitting down next to a girl who's name I believe was Katara.

She smiled.

"Hello." I smiled back.

"Hey. I'm Donnie." She blinked.

"I know." I frowned.

"How?"

"We have gym together, not to mention your the kid who hacked JARVIS." I chuckled nervously. Mikey and Raph and pressured me into doing that, and I must admit it was kinda fun. Much more fun than hacking the Kraang or something like that.

Through the aftermath was not so fun.

"Hey Katara!!" Katara looked past me and grinned widely.

"Aang!!" Instantly, she stood up and walked over to sit with him. I sighed. Of course I was the one being ditched.

"I'll sit with you." I looked over at the gloomy looking boy. His hair was raven black, his eyes were almost black looking, with a sword by his side, and a image that said he needed more sleep or more coffee, he kinda freaked me out.

"T-Thanks. I-I'm Donnie." I stuttered. The boy snorted.

"Nico. And don't worry, I don't bite." He said. Nico...Nico....where did I hear that name before..?

Of course.

"You're Perseus's cousin aren't you? And Thalia's? And Jason's...I guess...to some extent." Nico's face hardened.

"You know him?" He asked, sitting down. My mind flash backed to the time when I tried to tell Annabeth about how I suspected Perseus would have some physic connection with us, and how she ignored me, then months later Perseus ended up sending Raph on a rampage.

"Sort of." I said. Because of it, My brothers and I ended up hearing some of Perseus's thoughts.

Well, the only ones he had anyway.

"Is that a good sort of?" Nico asked. Before I could answer, two people I didn't know walked in.

"Um...hi." The boy said. He was Caucasian, with curly blondeish hair. He looked nervous, and he was fiddling with his hands. And he didn't look older than anyone here. Maybe about....eighteen?

"Hello!!" Aang exclaimed cheerily. The girl cleared her throat, looking at us like we were gonna jump out and attack her.

"Well....Agent May and Agent Coulson are a little busy with something...so we were sent to run this class....even through we have no idea what we're supposed to do." The girl said. She had a British accent (similar to Hermione Granger's) and had long black hair.

"Where are they?" Someone asked.

"That's classified." The boy answered quickly. I raised my hand. The girl blinked, taking a few steps backwards.

Because I'm totally the type of guy to attack people.

"Y-Yes?" She stammered. I gave her an annoyed look.

"What are your names exactly?" I asked, trying to be as friendly as I could be. She forced a smile, like she expected another question.

"I'm Agent Simmons, and this is Agent Fitz." Fitz waved, looking around the room. He looked happy to be here, while Agent Simmons looked...scared kind of.

"Nice to meet you all. Now....we should to attendance." Fitz said. Simmons jumped up and nodded.

"Right. Attendance. Of course." Picking up a tablet and pulling up the class list, she started calling off names.

"Alex McCoy?"

"Here."

"Annabeth Chase?"

"Here."

"Ava Ayla?"

"Here!!"

"Alex Summers?"

"Hey beautiful."

"Luke Cage?"

"Here."

"Lavender Brown?"

"Hi!!"

"Ginny Weasley?"

"Hey."

"Donatello Hamato?"

"Here." I said. She jumped.

"Oh...hello." I sighed, blanking out of the rest of attendance. Simmons clearly had something against mutants.....you didn't need to be a genius to realize that....

Even through I was.

"Um....excuse me? Miss? You forgot me." Nico said next to me. Fitz looked at him.

"Who are you?" He asked.

"Nico Di'Angelo, son of Hades."

"Who's that?" Fitz asked again. Someone didn't brush up on their mythology before coming here.

"He ran the Underworld
But thought the dead were dull and uncouth
He was as mean as he was ruthless
And that's the gospel truth.
He had a plan to shake things up
And that's the gospel truth!" Someone behind us sang. Nico and I turned, Nico with a death glare on his face.

The girl smiled.

"Sorry. He asked." She said. Nico growled.

"My father isn't like that!!" He snapped. She shrugged, rolling her eyes.

"Whatever you say Nico." Agent Simmons looked over the list.

"I can't find you....are you sure you're in the right class right now?" She asked. Nico frowned.

"Is this History?" He asked. Some kids snickered, giving Nico his answer.

"I'm sorry, no." Simmons said. Nico sighed and stood up.

"Can someone show me where it is?" No one moved. I swallowing nervously, I raised my hand.

"I'll show him." I said, partly because I wanted to get away from Simmons scared looks, and partly because I felt bad for him.

"Thank you...Donatello." Seriously, does Fitz say anything?

Standing up, I gestured to the door.

"This way." Nico walked out. Before I could follow him however, Sam grabbed my hand.

"Careful Donnie. He's from Villain High." Again...why is it called Villain High?

Nodding, I walked out the door, closing it behind me. Nico looked at me.

"Lead the way."

Considering we were in the bottom right of the school, and history class was on the top left (it was moved so Chiron didn't have to walk up the stairs), we had a while walk.

Nico didn't seem to mind the silence, but I did. I cleared my throat nervously, looking at everywhere but him.

"So...what did you do?" What did you do?! Seriously?! Idiot!!

"What do you mean?" Nico asked.

"Why are you at Villain High?" Nico sighed, looking away.

"How much do you know about Greek myths?"

"Not much." I said honestly, walking up the stairs. Mythology was more Mikey's thing; if I read about mythology it was because it was relevant to whatever my brothers and I were doing, or because I wanted to know the history behind something.

"Well....my father isn't exactly the best God around. People feared him. And because of that, along with a few other things, Director Fury didn't think it was safe for me to be here. Besides, I fit in better with the Villains." He said.

"Well that's a stupid reason."

"I also tried to kill Percy."

"That's a slightly better reason." Nico sighed.

"It doesn't matter through. Percy--."

"Is trying to get you transferred, I know." Nico frowned.

"How?"

"I overheard him talking to Fury, once. Him and Hazel anyway. Not to mention, he's been thinking about it since you showed up. Not sure about Hazel through, but I think she would, being your half sister and all. Speaking of which, if your from the Villain school, why do you have classes?"

"Like you said, Percy wants me to transfer. But I'm not sure if I want too." Not wanting to push, I lead him down the hall in silence, stopping at Professor Misako's class.

"Here. The teacher's name is Professor Misako. What's you next class?"

"Science." I pointed down to the classroom near Tech Lab and the guidance counselors office.

One of them anyway.

"Biggest classroom. Doctor Richards and Mrs. Richards. Or Susan." Nico nodded, giving me a small smile.

"Thanks Donnie." I nodded.

"No problem." As Nico walked into the classroom, I thought of something.

Mikey always saw the good people....no matter what. He looked for the good and focused on that.

Nick Fury saw the bad, and kept an eye on it. He saw the good, but focused on the bad.

Nico did not seem terrible, for a child of Hades. Maybe a little frightening, but not terrible.

"Hey Nico." He stopped and looked back.

"Yeah." I cleared my throat.

"If you need anything.....I'd be happy to help." Nico nodded, not smiling or anything.

"Thanks Donnie, but I think I'll be fine." He said, walking into the classroom. I frowned, then shook my head.

Humans were weird.

~~~~~~~~
Later, while I was telling Sam and Hank the story (quietly, as we were in the library), Sam facepalmed.
"So your telling me you can get along with a child of Hades, but you can't get along with our roommate?" He exclaimed quietlyI nodded. He let out an annoyed sigh.
"You're worse than Tony and Steve." He said, rolling his eyes.
"Speaking of, where are the--."
"Hank McCoy?" Pepper asked. We all looked at her. Hank frowned, taking his glasses off.
"Yes?"
"Something's come up. It has to do with Alex." In a flash (not Kid Flash), Hank jumped up and sprinted out of the library, running over at least three Athena kids, two witches, and someone else.
I frowned, looking up.
"What happened?" I asked.
Zuko
I looked up as Nico walked over to Raven and I. Death Breath was for some reason joining classes, which if you ask me was dumb.
Anyway, we were hanging out near the edge of the forest. Mystique claimed she had something to show us.
"Hey guys. Where's Mystique?" He asked. Raven shrugged.
"Don't know. She just asked us to be here." She said dully. She spent her time with the Teen Titans (her old team) and another team called Young Justice.
Short for, like, Young Justice League or something.
"I wonder what she wants." I said. I spent my days avoiding my uncle, the Avatar, and his friends.
And Azula.
"Don't know.. But knowing her, it's probably something bad." As soon as the words left Nico lips, the blue skinned mutant walked over.
"There you are." Nico said.
"Where have you been? I thought you said you were gonna keep me company?!" I exclaimed. She smirked.
"I did. However, I was offered something better. Me and Draco anyway." Raven, Nico, and I all glanced at each other frowning.
"What are you talking about?" Raven asked. The smirk on Mystique's face grew wider.
"Well, Draco and I were offered the chance to help the Headmaster's cause." Nico straightened.
"What cause?" She laughed, brushing her red hair out of her face.
"Can't tell. Magneto made me swear that I wouldn't." I growled, getting annoyed.
"Just spit it out already!!" I snapped. She sighed, rolling her eyes.
"Fine Prince Zuko." Taking a step back, Mystique grew taller, her skin losing the blue color, and her short hair growing longer.
When she was done shapeshifting, my eyes widened.
"Oh no." Nico said.
As you all know, I love having evil plot twists.
Which is why I have decided someone is going to die.
And before you guess, yes Dumbledore is going to die, (spoiler alert) because he kinda has too, but anyway, someone else OTHER than him is going to die.
Like, a student will. o.o
Shocking right?
Anyway, what happened to Alex? And who did Mystique shapeshift into?
Questions, questions, and more questions!
Vote, comment and tell me if you caught the reference I through in there.
(Hint: it's from the first book)
(Second hint: read the first book over again; I'm gonna reference it. Or try too)
Bye!!!
