School crush
Clarissa Stone stares into the schools old rustic window, towards her school crush. He makes her heart throb, her breath quicken and her throat dry. With his stylish black hair, gorgeous green eyes and adorable dimples, he was her definition of perfect; others not so.
She often got told to get her head out of the clouds. 'Clarissa, we can afford to send you to a dance school.' 'Clarissa, Jake is trouble. You should stay away.' 'Clarissa this' 'Clarissa that'. No matter how much pleading was done, her mother simply couldnt afford dance lessons; even if Clarissa was a natural born dancer.
With a sigh, She gracefully walked into the hall. Her dark blue gown with small sliver, glittered stars sprawled across, sparkled against the fairy lights. Tonights prom theme was a starry night.
Hopefully, she'd finally muster up enough courage to ask Jake for a dance, not that she has ever before. She spotted him in the cornor of the hall; all by himself. A slow song came on and nobody had the courage to dance in front of everyone. Clarrisa nervously made her way over to Jake, her silver flat shoes pattered against the wooden floor and her blonde hair bounced with every stride.
"Would you like to dance?" Her voice held evidence of timidness. Her powder blue eyes shined with nervousness of rejection.
"I dont dance anymore but you should though. Iv seen you do it through your window, your fantastic." His voice was deep but velvety and was compassionate. His eyes held...pride? "I'll will be right there with you." His dimples popped out as smiled at her. He took her small hand in his and lead her to the dance floor.
Everyones eyes was on Clarissa and Jake. "I dont think I can do this." She muttered, offering a small smile.
"Clarissa, dance your heart out. This is your time to shine." Jake caressed her cheek, before laying his plump lips on her. "You do this Clary and i will convince my old dance tutor to give you lessons...for free." He smirked.
"Y-you did dancing." She smiled soflty, adjusting to the nickname she had received.
"Yes and i will tell you everything you want but first dance. Dance like your life depends on it. Chase your dream before its too late." Jake whisped slowly into Clarissa's ear.
Clarissa nodded, slowly taking her shoes off and walking to the middle of the floor. Whispers had began to spread through out the hall, eyes deserted their partners and was on her now. She began to feel the beat of the music, she floated gracefully through the song, doing twirls, kicks and leaps. Before she knew it, the song had came to a stop and the crowd erupted into chears and wolf whistles.
Red tinted her cheeks, her breath was uneven and her chest pounded but all of this was forgotten when Jake layed a careful kiss upon her lips.
Two school crushes together...at last.
