Saint Valentine's month has passed long ago, but love never stops knocking at your door. You received a secret message, one that's sitting silently in your locker. Are you ready to open it yet?

This year your school has organized "The Locker Message" activity to increase social interaction. No standard invitation, but an anonymous message lying in the locker. Your letter says: Be My Date. I'll wear heart-shaped glasses. If you do the same, I'll know you accepted.

There's a pair of heart-rimmed glasses with the card, and you're surprised. What will you do with this open proposal for a date?

Students at your school prefer to use an app called "Lockers" to store many notes and daily dairies. One day, the app glitched and leaked many secrets from students around the school. Slowly, you see relationships start to crumble, lifelong friends become strangers, and the one secret you never wanted anyone to know is now the main headline of the school. What is the secret?

You and your childhood friends have a small locker in the nearby woods and that is where you put a message to each other in the future. You promise to open together when you all reach 18 years old. However, you split up when joining high school. What could happen? And what are there in those messages? Possibly a secret love or unrequited one?

In your school, everyone knows there is a secret service called "The Locker Mailman" who will help you send a small anonymous message to the targeted student's locker. You once receive a cute message via this service and you decide to figure out who the sender is!

1. Can I submit my existing work?

Sorry, you have to write a new story for this activity but you are welcomed to submit your existing story through our reading list submission form.

2. Can I write more than one book based on the prompt?

Yes, you are welcome to write more than one but remember there will be only one book per author that can get featured on The Locker Message's reading list.

3. What is the deadline for this?

There is no deadline for this activity, we want to make this open as long as possible to encourage you guys to join and write amazing stories based on the prompt.

4. Can I publish it in my existing short story collection?

Sorry, you have to publish the story as a new book so we can easily add it to the reading list when it has the chance to get featured.

5. Can I write more than one chapter for this activity?

Yes, you can write more than one chapter as long as your total story wordcount is in our limited wordcount which is 1500 words or fewer. 

6. Does my story need to be completed?

Yes, your story needs to be completed when you fill the form so we can read your entry completely and fully. 

7. Can I write more than one prompt?

Yes, you can write more than one prompt but be sure to publish them in seperated work for potential feature.
