7.

Jimin's eyes widened as big as his body was capable of. He was so stunned that he dropped the bloody handkerchief on the floor.

Taehyung was fast enough to catch it midair before it completely fell. When Yoongi heard the door shut he released a shaky breath stumbling back.

"Sir, are you okay?" Taehyung asked as Jimin collapsed back on the chair. His face was paler than Yoongi's milky complexion.

Everything around Jimin started spinning and he could hardly hear what Taehyung was saying though he was inches away.

Had he heard right? Did the king ask him to be his husband? Correction, he didn't even ask. He told him he'd be his husband without giving him a choice.

Even if it was a choice could he decline such a tempting offer? If he was to marry the king he'd be a king too. He'd live in the castle and be surrounded by wealth. All his dreams would come true. He'd have the world at the palm of his hand and he'd finally be able to help out Jungkook.

No more dealing with his pathetic boss. No more having to worry if rent was going to be paid. All their problems would be solved.

But why him? Why would the king pick someone like him? What could the king possibly like? There were so many questions flooding his mind along with so many mixed emotions.

"I think I'm okay, but did I—did I hear right?" He asked, looking up at Taehyung. He watched his face thinking that he'd start laughing at him.

"What do you think you hear?"

"That the king wants me to marry him."

"You heard right."

Once again, Jimin started hyperventilating. His stomach felt uneasy to the point he had to lean back on the wine red couch. It was embarrassing to be so weak in front of an immortal, but it was something he could not control.

If he tried to sit back up he'd pass out for sure. The shock of the situation was putting his body through a panic attack.

"Vernon?" Taehyung called. His voice wasn't loud or demanding, but the young man showed up at the door instantly.

Jimin was too sick to even look at him. He knew that Vernon had fed on Jungkook and therefore knew of him. The queasiness didn't even allow him to care at the moment.

"Please bring tea for our guest. He does not feel well."

Vernon nodded instantly and just like that he had vanished. Their moves were so quick it was easy to miss them.

Jimin kept his eyes focused on the spinning ceiling. Wondering if he would make it to the altar alive or if this anxiety would take him out before then.

"Your majesty?"

"Hmm?"

"Do you agree with letting them use our land?"

Yoongi closed his eyes briefly. His mind was racing at unimaginable speeds. Having supernatural abilities had given gin the power to multitask, but ever since he smelled Jimin's blood it's like his brain was intoxicated.

When he blinked, the scent was there. When he spoke, the scent was there. It was everywhere. Despite Jimin being in another floor, rooms away, and separated through thick walls all he could hear was his beating heart and soft breaths.

"Your majesty, your mind seems to be elsewhere."

Yoongi reopened his eyes and spotted a smiling Yuta from across the table. He was one of the men who helped him run the kingdom and one of the ones that had helped his father before.

"Seems like it is. Do you mind if we resume this meeting at a later time?"

"Of course not. You're occupied. I understand. I will stop by later this week. Please feel free to read over the documents I have provided you with. Let me know if you need to see me sooner." He bowed and exited out the door.

Yoongi tapped his fingers against the table and finally picked up the paper Yuta had left behind. His eyes scanned through the document rapidly, but his brain was not comprehending the words.

"Taehyung shut his whimpering up! Now!" He screamed finally fed up with the whimpering Jimin. Did he not understand that those sinful noises provoked Yoongi's imagination to run wild?

Luckily, seconds later it was quiet. Yoongi wondered what Taehyung could have possibly done to quiet him down. Before he could snoop any further, a knock on his door interrupted him.

"Your majesty, you have a visitor."

Yoongi got up from the chair and made his way to the front. As he took steps down, he noticed his visitor indulging in the center table of sweets.

He cleared his throat obnoxiously, making the petite woman gasp. She bowed quickly while still chewing on the chocolate bar. To most people, the king was their priority, but not her.

"Your majesty!"  She said with a mouth full. She bowed quickly and very sloppily before continuing to chew the chocolate.

"Seokjin, how many times have I told you to not impersonate others?" He asked unimpressed.

"I—I don't know what—ahh fuck. Dammit. How did you know it was me?" He responded while still in the body of the beautiful Nayeon. It was useless to try to argue.

"Easy. Nayeon would never eat like that or without permission. Especially not in public. Unlike you, she has manners."

"Aren't these for your guest?" He argued while pointing to the tray of sweets.

"Yes, but typically they ask for permission first."

"I didn't think I needed to since I'm your long lost friend. Come on, I didn't fool you one bit?"

Yoongi shook his head, "Not even a second."

Jin pouted, "Your security guards seemed to think that I am Nayeon. A pair of these get you a long way." He smirked, holding his breasts and pushing them up.

Yoongi huffed, smacking his hand, "Stop touching her body like that you creep."

"Technically, this is my body. She's still out of town completely unaware that I am impersonating her. I love my gift. I can be whoever I want!"

"Except yourself."

"Damn. What did you eat today?"

"Not what I want. Anyways, why are you here?"

He gasped offended while touching his heart. "I am your best friend. Do I really need a reason to visit?"

At first, for Yoongi it was surreal to maintain a conversation with Jin knowing he was in another person's body.  When he first met him it was a hundred years ago and his purpose of seeing him was to get a potion that would stop his father from leaving.

Despite being wonderful at his potions and having a booming business, he didn't know of Jin's identity until he became king. Jin was a mystery to the town.

No one truly knew him and they only spoke to him through the body of others. So, when someone claimed to know him they truly didn't since he was everyone but himself.

Yoongi being the king meant he knew of everything and as his fathers past memories blended into his own he saw Jin's face for the first time.

Every time he saw him or spoke to Jin he was in another body. When Yoongi got his gift he knew of Jin's past and what led him to not reveal his true self.

"Seriously, why see you here?" Yoongi finally asked, reaching over to grab a piece of candy.

"I heard the good news! Congrats! He smells delicious. Not as delicious as this chocolate, but I am sure he will be a good husband." He gushed, hugging him.

Yoongi tensed up and waited for Jin to let go. Even though he knew this was not the real Nayeon it felt wrong to push him off in her body.

"Dammit Taehyung."

"Don't blame him. I am very good at pretending to be others. Taehyung never suspected it was me."

"I'm glad I am immune to your powers."

"I bet so. Anyways, since I pretended to be Nayeon I brought you a suit. As the town's tailor I had to keep my role." He winked.

"I didn't order a suit."

"Well I brought you one. It's surprisingly heavy so you can't make me take it back."

Yoongi smiled while nodding, "You wanted to be in character so be it."

Jin frowned while sticking his middle finger up. Yoongi found it amusing, "Ahh! That's not lady like!"

"I'm not a fucking lady." He whispered screamed.

"Well, right now you are. Now if you excuse me I have other business to attend to."

"Fine, fine, but I am taking your candy jar. That's the real reason I came."

"Yeah, yeah. Take it all." He said waving as he turned around.

Jin shrugged, grabbing the jar and the suit that was neatly packed in a plastic bag. He quickly headed out easy to get out of the puffy heavy dress. It was a struggle to walk in the shoes Nayeon wore. Although he had impersonated females before, it wasn't common.

"Ma'am, do you need help?" Sehun asked as he opened up the gate.

"No thank you. My driver is around the corner."

He bowed as Jin walked by him and he couldn't help but smile. Getting used to this attention was easy. When he was in the body of others, especially females, he was welcomed, attended and admired.

Jin was so caught up with himself that he didn't see the rock in front of him. He stepped on it stumbling. His reflexes were faster than the normal human, but before he could recompose himself someone else did.

"Are you okay madam? I do apologize for touching you. I didn't want you to fall." The man quickly let go of Jin and stepped back bowing.

Jin stared at the man wide eyed. He was tall, golden skinned, with dark brown curly hair and the sweetest smile.

He was so caught off guard that he dropped the bag with the suit. The attentive man quickly picked it up and wiped the dirt that was on the bag.

Jin cleared his throat stretching his hands to take the suit back, "Thank you."

"I can help you if you'd like madam. Where are you headed?"

Jin scratched the back of his neck and looked at the driver that was down the street. Then he glanced back at the golden skinned man.

"Sure. I'm the town tailor. My building is right down the street actually."

"Perfect. Ladies first." He motioned Jin to continue.

Jin furrowed his eyebrows and then suddenly remembered that he was in Nayeon's body. "Oh! Right, right."

"My name is Kim Namjoon by the way. I apologize for my rudeness."

"Oh no worries. My name is...Im Nayeon." He said with a smile.

"Nice to meet you, miss. Do you design clothes for everyone?"

"Yeah those who come to my shop."

"Even the king?" He wondered with big eyes.

Jin laughed, "Even the king."

"You have a nice laugh."

Jin quiet down and felt his face turn red. He knew that it was bright since his body started boiling. He couldn't help to wondering if Namjoon would think his real laugh was nice.

"I'm sorry. That was weird."

"No, no, thank you. I've never really liked my laugh." He admitted.

"Why is that?"

"I don't know. It's weird."

"Weird is good." He said kindly.

Jin smiled while avoiding staring at his face too long. He didn't want to seem creepy.  Namjoon looked back at him and then at the jar he was holding.

"Do you like chocolate?"

"Oh yes. I love sweets. Do you want one?"

"No thank you. I actually just ate not too long ago. Uhh...you have a little..." he pointed to his cheek and Jin quickly wiped his face. Had he been talking to him with chocolate on his face?

"I am such a messy eater." He murmured embarrassed.

"No worries. I am too."

Luckily, they had arrived at the shop and Jin was relieved. As much as he enjoyed Namjoon's company he was far too embarrassed to continue the conversation.

"We're here, let me open it up." He smiled bashfully as he attempted to unlock the door. His hand was shaking, why was it shaking so bad?

"Miss do you need—?"

"I got it!" He screamed holding the doorknob.

Namjoon raised his eyebrows, "You broke it."

"Yeah. I know. It's replaceable. Trust me it's not the first time I do it."

Namjoon nodded with a chuckle, "Where should I put this?" He wondered as his eyes scanned the shop. It was filled with beautiful dresses and stunning suits. Nothing compared to his simple material suit. His eyes landed on a stack of books on a small table near the window.

"Uhh...here give it to me."

Their hands touched for a split second and Jin quickly pulled away. He put the suit on a random counter not knowing where he had grabbed it from.

"Are you closed today?"

"Huh? Oh yeah. I had to visit the king so yeah."

"Wow. You know the king. That's amazing. I've heard legends that he isn't real."

"Oh he's very real alright."

Namjoon looked like he wanted to continue the conversation about the king but he quickly changed topics.

"Miss, do you read?"

"Umm..." Jin spotted the stack of books. "Yeah. Mainly about fashion and things." He hoped he sounded convincing, but it had just occurred to him that as much as he had impersonated other vampires he had never really held a conversation this long with anyone before.

Not about regular stuff. His other conversations were about potions and money. This man was asking personal questions that he didn't know how to respond.

"I work at the library downtown. You should definitely stop by sometime. I can recommend books and not just about fashion."

"You work at the library? You're telling me Taeil let you work in his library? That's amusing. He has hardly hired anyone before. How did you get that job?"

Namjoon smiled while shrugging his shoulders, "Good luck I suppose."

Jin tilted his head to the side, "Hmm. Good luck huh?"

"Sure thing. Well miss, I excuse myself. I really do hope to see you soon." He said bowing down.

Jin returned the courtesy and watched Namjoon walk away. As soon as he did, Jin caught a glimpse of himself through the glass window.

Five four, petite, long brown hair, gorgeous skin and a beautiful face.

His smile suddenly vanished and he looked away from the reflection. Now he understood why Namjoon had been so attentive.
