Hi Guys! 

I know it's been awhile since I've posted a new list of prompts. You may be thinking, "Gosh, Paula. What's the deal? It's only ten prompts. Why's it taking so long?"  Well, I do try to make sure I have a nice variety of detailed and vague prompts, action-oriented and emotional. And I'm working on The Otherworlders and that's a huge project! Plus, you know...life. Anyway, without further ado, see below!

And remember, the idea is not to be rigid about it, but give your mind a "hook" or a "springboard" to use to get back into the scene or to move a scene forward. Don't be afraid to modify them, play with them, use one or use all.

Here are this week's prompts. If you're stuck in a scene, why don't you have a character:

1. Avoid a painful truth

2. Interfere with a conversation

3. Separate two people fighting

4. Describe something in detail

5. Pretend not to hear someone

6. Try something drastic

7. Comment on how someone looks

8. Think of something suddenly

9. Reminisce about something

10. Come to a conclusion
