Quick backstory: Tobias was born on a small farm in Ohio, born to former slave father and a freedman mother. He received a rather poor education, as he was needed at home the majority of the time. When he turned 18 he enlisted in the Army Calvary, and began fighting in the American Indian wars. During this time he would be promoted to Corporal. Only a few months after this was when the dead began to walk the earth. Tobias, being raised in a highly religious family, believed that the cause behind the living dead was religious in nature.
